I am using webview to display a website for content research. My app is tabbed so the bottom of the screen is filled with that. The rest of the screen area I am filling with a webview.
but when i run the Iphone4 emulator the webview display iphone3 size.

Try using the stage.stageHeight and stage.stageWidth properties to set the initial size of your webview. Both properties can be accessed during or after the addedToStage event for the view.

The iPhone does NOT support bluetooth file transfer. You need to get your Galaxy contacts onto your computer in Address Book or Outlook, then synch your phone to that program.

I just recently bought an iPhone 5s and transferred my information from my iPhone 3 to it according to the directions on the apple website. My most recent (last 5-6 months) pictures, chats, notes, etc have not transferred and I cannot access it on my old phone now. What can I do? PLEASE HELP!

This means something is wrong with the backup, which includes a significant amount of data.
Photos/videos in the Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera.
It doesn't mean the photos are lost if you still have the iPhone 3 available to import the photos from the Camera Roll with your computer.

After the photos have been imported by your computer, you can transfer the photos from your computer to your new iPhone via the iTunes sync/transfer process. This is selected under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes.
If the iPhone 3 is no longer available, the photos are lost.

Can't transfer from iphone3 to iphone4

I'm having problems transferring the content of my old ihpone3 to my new iphone4. When I first connected my iphone4, I got the option to synch from my reserve copy of the iphone3; however, it wouldn't let me do so until I updated the operating system of my iphone4. After the update (which was successful), there was never an option offered to synch from my old reserve copy.
Can someone help me figure out how to get the data from my old phone to my new one?

You are not being given the option of restoring from your previous backup because you now have a backup of your new phone. If you want to restore from your previous iPhone backup, you will have to start over.
First, delete the backup of your new phone in iTunes>Preferences>Devices. Then, on your new phone: Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content & Settings. That should take but a minute or two. When finished, your phone will look just like it did when first taken out of the box. Connect it to iTunes, right-click in the device pane & select "Restore from Backup". Select your previous phone's backup. When complete, follow this by syncing your iTunes content to your phone.

I backed-up the data from my old iphone via itunes onto my computer. Now, I have "restored" the replacement iphone- or so I thought. There is none of my old info onto this new phone. Help. I am at a loss. Where do I go to get all of my old data- contacts, apps, music, etc...

I've done everything Sprint and Apple have suggested - turned off imessaging, made sure the contact info on the other iPhones is plain mobile numbers, deactivated my iCloud account. On 3G we cannot send emails from either our iPhones or iPad and this also happens with some WiFi connections but not all. Yet we can always send emails from our Hotmail Email account. What is causing this and what do we need to do to resolve it?

We bought the iPhones and Ipad so that we could send emails while we are out of the Office, but we are not able to do this unless we can find a WiFi connection. Incoming emails are fine. We use IMAP, for Business emails just incase this is relevant and I know that Hotmail is POP3.
Our technical IT knowledge is not great, so we look forward to your suggestions as to how to resolve this.

Contact whomever supports the email account and get the correct Outgoing email server settings from them.

In photos: I have tried to select and delete some duplicate pictures that I transferred from my other iPhone 5S on this new iPhone 5S and when I select the only options available is moving the photos or email/text. I cannot put in trash bin

How did you transfer the photos from your other iPhone? If you did it by importing them from the old phone to a computer and then used iTunes to sync them back to the new phone, then you would delete them by syncing again using iTunes but this time change the selection of which photos are to be synced. Each time you sync using iTunes, it sets the non-Camera Roll photos on the phone to match the current settings/selection in iTunes.

I need to transfer playlists from my old iphone into itunes so that I can then add them to my new iphone 6. However, none of the playlists on my iphone appear when I connect to my macbook. I have read other threads but have not found answer. help!

I am a group exercise instructor and rely heavily on my playlists. My old phone is an iphone 4s and I just bought an Iphone 6. I also have a macbook where I keep my itunes account, but I create all my playlists on my phone. I need to transfer those playlists from my old iphone into itunes in my computer so that I can then add them to my new iphone 6. However, none of the playlists on my iphone appear when I connect to my macbook. I have read other threads where the suggestion was to attach the old phone to itunes, find the phone in itunes and click the little arrow to the left to show the playlists. Then right click on the playlist and export it, saving it to the desktop, to then import it into itunes. However, in my case, the playlists do not show up when the phone is connected to itunes. I have clicked on the little arrow and all I get is "music", "purchased", etc., but none of my playlists. I'm sure some years back I probably deleted something in my itunes library and now none of my playlists show. Please help me. I would hate to have to recreate all of my playlists. Thank you!

I know it sounds weird, and that is the reason I posted my question. Because my case is not like all the ones I've found online and it's confusing. I added a screen capture of my itunes with my old iphone (the one that houses my playlists) connected to it.
My playlists "ARE" in my iphone 4s. They are still there even though they do not show up when I plug in to itunes in my computer.
When connecting my phone to itunes on my macbook, the playlists do not appear anywhere in itunes. I have found my connected iphone icon, I have clicked on the arrow next to it and it does pull up the standard lists that come with the iphone/itunes: Music, Movies, TV shows, books. That's it! below that is "Genius" and below "Geniuns" is "PLAYLISTS" but the only playlist of mine that shows there is one that I created several years back titled "90's music" and that one I created it on my computer, not my phone. Under "90's music" there are also other standard playlists that itunes automatically adds.
Does anyone else have this issue or know how to get around this. I am starting to think that I am going to have to recreate these lists on my computer

I Bought an iPhone 6 + set it all up and restored it from icloud but it just kept on running restore after it was finished so I backed it up to itunes on my Mac then did a local restore so I have everything, then I backed up the 6 to icloud but now I can't delte the backup from the old iPhone because it says it's in use and I wou like to recover this available space.

An interrupted iCloud restore will wait for approximately three days for the restore to resume, then it will time out. If you wait 3-4 days you should be able to delete the backup.
