WebWorks plug-in missing?

Hi everyone....I just upgraded to FM10 and now my WebWorks ePublisher Designer (v2013.2) throws a "no valid license key was found to enable Adobe FrameMaker support" when I try to generate help. I suspect I am missing a plug-in for FM, but can't find any mention of it either in FrameMaker help or WebWorks help or support. Can anybody assist??
Thanks!!!

Webworks supports Frame, but Frame doesn't provide active support for WW;
it's just another plugin
It sounds as if you haven't updated WW to your new platform, but there
isn't anything you'd do to enable WW support on the FM side; AFAIK it's all
WebWorks code coming in through the plugin API.

  • Quicktime plug-in missing in Safari, works fine in Firefox

Lion is working fine on my 2008 iMac - except - I can't play QuickTime movies. It tells me there is a plug-in missing.  This only happens with Safari. When I view the same site in Firefox, the QuickTime files play fine.
    What's going on here?

I found this answer on another thread, which may help - it fixed it for me:
Fixed the problem by going into Safari preferences, Extensions, and turned off the extensions for DivX... a temp fix, but will do for now!

  • Startup plug is missing

I developed a Webdynpro App. based on the Adaptive RFC method.  My original application had a single window with several views.  I had to delete my window and re-create it.  I then added my views back to the new window.  When I rebuild the project I get this error: "[APPNAME]:Startup plug is missing."
I have tried repairing and rebuilding, nothing works.
    Any ideas?

    Hi Kelly.
In the webdynpro explorer under the following path:
[your proyect] > [your principal component(*)] > Component Interface > Interface Views
Check that under Plugs tab of the interface view called [your window name]InterfaceView into Inbound Plugs area be the Default plug with the Startup property checked. If not exists this plug create it with the name Default and the startup property checked.
I hope that this helps u.
    Best Regards.

  • ESB TDM Plug in missing

I try to use EXS Instruments on my DAE AUX objects. I am not able to do so, althoug I was able to do so in OS9 wiht out problems. Logic during start up complaints "ESB Plug In missing". Consequently when I try to make an Audio object to a TDM object, "direct TDM" is greyed out. Where might the plug in be gone? Can I download it anywere? Please help!

The manual says, as soon as I install a Protools System with a appropiate DAE, the TDM EXS should work too.
Yeh, but PT should be installed before you run the Logic installer, otherwise how can it find the Digidesign plugins folder to install the ESB to ?
What the manual says , right in the beginning, is:
We have also assumed that you have connected your TDM system to your Macintosh,
and have installed (and tested) the Pro Tools system software. A correctly installed and
operational ProTools system will ensure a reliable Logic Pro/DAE system.

  • Plug in missing on Lion?

    Hi all,
I've upgraded to OS Lion and all works perfect, but can't watch certain video-clips on web pages like apple's itself (the tutorials). It says plug-in missing but doesn't point to what exactly. Quick time is installed, works fine, movies play through quick time too so it's a bit puzzling! Any suggestions?

I have the exact same problem.  I have scheduled an express lane call with Apple.
Please let me know if you find out the problem

Hej, I've this problmen since a couple of week. When I try to start tutorial video in Apple (and other video in the net) a message saying Plug in  missing flashes continuously.
Support in Genius Bar near me says it would be necessary to reinstall the OS. They do not know how this plug in is missing.
I've done a back up. I proceed installing OS X, done all up dates necessary....the problem is here.
    How can I solve it?
    Thanks everybody

    Hey reslosson,
The article linked below provides more information about the blocked plug-in alert that you are seeing and will walk you through the process of changing the security settings in Safari.
Safari: "Manage Website Settings…" lets you enable the Java web plug-in website-by-website

  • Plug-ins missing, can open files anyway

I'm using WinXP and CS2(4.0.5). Every time I open a particular doc, I get the following message: "The document uses one or more plug-ins which are not currently available on your system. Do you want to open anyway?" The missing plug-ins are: jpeg filter.rpln, gif filter.rpln, dib import filter.rpln, export manager.rpln.
I see most people in the forums either can't open their docs (not my case) or have had some interaction with CS3 (also not my case).
I do have the option to ignore the error message in the future, but I have to resave the doc as a new doc each time I close it, thus negating that step and restarting the process all over. I have no idea if I used to have these plug-ins and lost them or if I need to find them somewhere. If so, where??
    Any help would be appreciated!

  • Reader plug in missing

Safari 5.1.1 on Lion, keeps telling me plug in is missing for Adobe Reader X 10.1.1.
I have downloaded it a couple of times and it works fine any where outside of Safari.
    It works fine in Firefox.
    Any advice?

Unfortunately, at this time, many Adobe products don't play well with Mac OS X Lion.  According to the Adobe website:
Adobe Reader plug-in and Acrobat plug-in are not compatible with the Safari 5.1 browser, included with Mac OS 10.7 and for 10.6 in July 2011. Adobe Reader and Acrobat will continue to work as standalone applications on Mac OS 10.7 and 10.6, and will render PDF documents outside of the browser. In addition, Safari 5.1 renders PDF documents natively. However, the Adobe Reader and Acrobat plug-ins will not function as expected in LiveCycle and Acrobat workflows that require either plug-in to render PDF documents in Safari 5.1.
Adobe is working on a solution, but in the meantime, it advises against upgrading.  So I'm still using Snow Leopard and Safari 5.0.5.
And I guess I'll have to stay with 5.0.5 until Adobe and Apple have worked out their differences, but I only use Safari when I need to fill out smart forms online.
I have no plans to upgrade to Lion, and until all the problems are sorted out, I'm only going to apply security updates to Snow Leopard.

  • SQL Server plug-in Missing Properties : [provided_sql_server_name]

I've recently deployed SQL Server plug-in 3.2.3.1.0 and am having difficulty with the final error I'm receiving. I have been through the troubleshooting guide and am finding no errors with the WMI setup, etc. When I test connection, I get
    Missing Properties : [provided_sql_server_name]
    SQL Server 2000 - SP4
    Windows 2003 SP1 - Standard Edition.
I have set up a separate SQL Server user with sysadmin role, and I can see that it is logging in to the default instance just fine (no named instances on the server).
    Anyone have any pointers?

    Warning
Failed to contact the target to be added. Following errors were received while testing the connection to the target. Update the properties accordingly, try Test Connection for testing the properties before saving.
    Response - Missing Properties : [provided_sql_server_name]

    JDBC Driver: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver

Again, this is a 'default instance' on a Windows 2000 server.
