Week Number mismatch in SAP Calender and Outlook express

Hi Gurus,
One interesting issue ... In SAP calenders (used in portals/ESS/MSS), there are week numbers mentioned at the beginning of each week. And SAP considers the week where 1st Jan falls as the 1st week of the year. Where as in outlook express or the physical calendars distrubuted in organizations, it generally considers the 1st complete week (or majority of days in the week) of the year as the 1st week.
Say for 2011, week 1 as per outlook express or physical calenders start from 3rd Jan and the previous week is considered as 53rd week of 2010. This is leading to a week number mismatch.
I believe this is the standard settings ... but is there any settings available through which one can change this week number ?

OK Guys .. .found the solution ... Please refer to note 1434119 .... just upgrade to EHP4

No you can do with one.
You have to do this configuration.
Go to SO16-> Mail Sy Grp->Select Send to home addresses of users
Use
The messages that are sent to users in this SAP System are forwarded to the users' home addresses. The home address of a user can be the Internet address of their mailbox in an external mail system (for example, Microsoft Outlook or Lotus Notes).
Dependencies
The home address of each user is specified in the address management for every communication method used. In the case of a mail system group, only the home address that is specified for the standard communication method of a user is of importance. The messages are forwarded to this address.
You have to reset the address buffer on the tab page Adressing in order for address changes to become effective directly.

How can I read my incoming emails in one folder?Like I do in Live mail and Outlook express.

Now we can only read emails in different folders if I am managing multiple email accounts.
It does not feel so comfortable as we use Live mail and Outlook express.

If you use the Unified folder view, this will show an Inbox with all emails from all accounts, with sub folder Inboxes for the individual Inboxes for the various accounts. Then you can choose to view the collective Inbox or the individual Inbox.

Pop mail accounts can be set up to use a Global Inbox in Local Folders.
Imap mail accounts cannot be set up to use Global Inbox, but can use the Unified view.
To change Pop mail accounts to use Global Inbox, you would need to move all emails into Local Folders Inbox.
Then change the settings for each pop mail account.
Tools > Account Settings > Server Settings for the pop mail account
click on 'Advanced' button
select 'Inbox for a different account' and 'Global Inbox (Local Folders)
click on OK
You need to do this for each Pop mail account.
Then close Thunderbird. You must do this before downloading anything otherwise the emails may continue to go to the wrong Inbox.
Wait a few moments for Thunderbird to fully close and then restart Thunderbird.

Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express Personal Folders in CreatePDF

The new computer is a HP Model which has Window 7 version using Live Window Mail.

There is no integration between our CreatePDF service and Outlook or Outlook Express.
Our desktop application, Adobe Acrobat, will integrate with most versions of Microsoft Outlook to allow you to convert your emails to PDF files.

Can I sync Outlook and Outlook Express at the same time? Please help!

Hi, I'm new to BlackBerry so please be gentle.
I was able to install the BB desktop and sync my BB to Yahoo contacts and Outlook Express. I would like to also sync it to regular Outlook. (If you're interested, here's why: I run a small business and I wasn't able to get my website's email to come into regular Outlook so I have to use stinky Outlook Express to get my emails. However, I want to be able to use Outlook for all the other good stuff - contact, notes, calendar - and have everything on my awesome new BlackBerry.)
Is there a way to have both? When I try to configure it, it just doesn't have an Outlook option.
If there isn't a way to do this, does someone have another idea for a functional address book?

This should solve the communication with outlook
As for setting up POP on outlook, you need to know the pop and smtp servers, whether its ssl, and the port numbers, plus your username and password
check all these settings in your outlook express and they need to be the same in your outlook.
What version of Outlook is it? You may benefit from reinstalling outlook or all of office

Problems when using outlook and outlook express, cannot send more than app 100 KB.

Since app 6 weeks ago we have problems when sending pictures etc, we cannot send more than app 100KB. If we send more there is error code
Socket Error 10053, Error number 0x800CCC0F. Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection.
I have made no changes to either computer. Restoring the laptop to Nov 2011 made no difference.We use Outlook Exlorer and Outlook.
When I take my laptop to my neighbors house, who has Time Warner, I can send 10MB files without any problems, using the EXACT same settings.
Spending over 2 hours with a very informed Verizon technician on the phone did nothing.
I first blamed our server, turns out the culprit is Verizon.
Any ideas?

ITunes and Outlook Express

Hi, I'm new here. My dad gave my mom a iPod Nano for Christmas and I just got around to installing it last week. When I received my first iPod years ago, I was forced to remove iTunes off of my parent's computer because my father gets his email via Outlook Express and any time he tries to open a video emailed to him, iTunes attempts to do it. The problem is that it isn't compatible with iTunes, so it doesn't work. It does however work with a different program and I am aware of that. When iTunes isn't on this computer his email goes straight to the other program, but for some reason, the minute we install iTunes this changes. I've set the other program as the default, made sure that iTunes isn't the default, and even disabled iTunes to no avail. Has anybody else had this problem? Unfortunately, my father is insistent that we remove iTunes which means that my mother can never add any more tunes to her iPod and we can't share my laptop because my music makes her cringe on a good day. I just want to fix this for her and I've done everything that I can think of. Any aid that you might give me would be greatly appreciated.

The Outlook sync was really a big scam and obviously just a commercial gag.
I hate that. That usually only happens with Windows products,

Windows Vista and Outlook Express 2003 on a Satellite A100-014

Does anyone have the same problem as i am experiencing?
When i try to reply to an email with outlook express on my computer with windows vista home, if the email is originally an html formatted message, hitting the reply button and starting to type up the message will just close down the application.

Hello there! thanks for the reply. of course, i made a mistake, i meant to ask about MICROSOFT OUTLOOK in fact, not outlook express. It sometimes happens that when i hit the reply button, it opens up an error message, that prompts me to the VISTA procedure for resolving mistakes, which often doesn't work. But once it did point me finally to a window telling me that there is no upgrading for that error for MS Outlook for windows vista.
Do you have any advice? you think i should remove and then re-install MS outlook?

Firefox won't take PC online. IE7 and Outlook Express do. Not firewall problem WinXP

WinXP, Firefox 3.6.13. Starting Firefox doesn't put the PC online if it isn't. Mailwasher, Outlook Express and IE7 all do. Have tried removing the one Firefox entry in Windows Firewall exceptions but this did nothing at all. Can't find anything in existing posts. Problem first started after upgrade to this version of Firefox.

I understand that you are passionate about fixing this issue and I am sorry that it is so difficult to print.
It is possible to change the default program that reads pdfs if it does not work from adobe. This can be done from the "3bar" > Options > Applications menu. [[Set how Firefox handles different types of files]]
Does downloading the file and saving it first, then opening the file in another program allow you to print in the meantime?
If there is a lockfile in the profile, it may be that preferences are not allowed to be changed. [[How to fix preferences that won't save]]

Can I import my emails from Outlook and Outlook express backup to Mail

I have saved a lot of my emails from when I was using PC, using Outlook. I have since just been using webmail.
I now want to import it into Mail, as I have an imac that I use all the time. Can this be done? If so how, and how easy is it?
Also is there a free way to do it, seen a few progs but have to pay for them.

I would have thought you ould go from Outlook/Outlook express to Apple mail straight away though?

BEFW11S4 and outlook express

OK, so heres the deal. I currently have a network using a Linksys Router BEFW11S4 version 4. I can get internet. My problem relies on getting email.
If I have my internet connect directly to my PC, it works fine. If I try to access my email going through my router I get the following error message:
The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'pop-server', Server: 'pop-server', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
Note that I am using Microsoft Outlook Express 6. What should I do to get me email working through my router?

You could try giving your computer DMZ access through the router. That may help.

Vendor Number Range Conflict SAP ECC and CRM 2007

I need to load SAP ECC Vendor data from SAP to CRM and have setup most of the configuration as required. However I have an issue, the vendor number range used currently in our SAP system is already in use in our CRM system and has been for some time (for Prospects and Contacts). What is the best approach to dealing with this issue...
My initial thought was to see if we could have two different numbers for the same vendor in ECC and SAP CRM
eg SAP Vendor "50000001" equates to CRM "VEN50000001"
Is such as approach supported? Can you point me to the documentation that shows how such an approach could be implemented. What approaches have others done to address similar issues?

Implement the code present in the attachment. You can
change it according to your own requirements. The example code
suffixes 'VEND' before the first six digits of the vendor
number before it is downloaded to CRM.

IPhone 4s calender and Outlook 2007 on PC.

After working well for a few years Calender does not synchronise with Outlook 2007 any longer. Calender remains blank on the phone, Contacts and notes are fine,

have you tried to connect it to the computer using usb and navigating to the iphone in itunes on the computer
and clicking on the info tab and scrolling down tot he calender sync options`?

Synchronisation between Sap Office and Outlook

For my client I am looking for a way to synchronise the mails generated by SAP and placed in the SAPOffice outbox with the users Microsoft Outlook outbox.
An example to make things a bit clearer:
After creating a purchase order in SAP, an email message for the order is generated to be sent to the vendor. This message is placed in the SAPOffice outbox from the user that created the purchase order. What I would like is that the message pending in the SAPOffice outbox is automatically transferred to the Outlook outbox of that user (not by sending the mail to the users e-mail address, but by synchronisation).
Up until SAPGUI 6.20, this option was standardly available, and could be activated during GUI installation. However, that possibility no longer exists. I know that it is possible still to do it, but I do not know how to.
Is there anybody that knows of this.
The system used is SAP ECC 6.0 with EHP4. We do not use XI/PI, but WebMethods as middleware client.

This is not possible by default, this would imply that the SAP system has access to the Exchange server and there would be a mapping from SAP user to ActiveDirectory user.
This wasn't also done in previous versions but you just displayed the SAP outbox using the MAPI client in Outlook, there were always two separate "mailboxes".

Since I had upgraded Firefox all of the tab shortcuts are gone. I would like to have them back on my computer again. Why did Firefox remove them. I am not a tech and do not know how to fix the problem.

Easy steps
Locate the document in the Finder.
Control/Right-Click on its icon.
Select Show Package Contents
All images and embedded objects appear in ‘Data’ folder
