Hi SAPERS,
Please provide me the information about how to connect the vehicle weigh bridge system to SAP system to get automatic net weight should be populates at the time of GR. Is there any interface is required for it.

hi
u have to create gate module with helpof ur abapers
like for inward movement there will be a T code
and for out ward there will be another and u will get diffrence which will be use fo gr
in same frist t code u can proide the gate pass system
what u can do is create a new table for in ward movement and another table for outward
then link them for two t codes for in ward an out ward movement
do t code one for truck+load
then t code 2 truck
so u will get the diff
then do gr for the diff
while doing t code one u can develope some thing for the gate pass like trcuk no or cahllan no etc
just discuss this with ur developer hewill do it
LECI aslo can be use for the in and out pass

Hi,
Hope your scenario is that you are ordering raw material from a vendor and transporting the raw material ,you have a transport vendor.Once the raw material unloaded in the factory,immediately you have to pay to the transport vendor(Truck) and later based on the payment term you will pay the payment to your raw material vendor.
1.Create material: MM01,
2.Create Raw material Vendor: XK01,
3.Create Transport Vendor: XK01,
4.For Aumatic Pricing Create Calculation Schema and mataioning the Condition type for Material price,Discount, Taxes and Freight chages .
5.Create PO(ME21N) Ordering material to Raw Material Vendor and come to Condition Details.In the Condition Details , select Frieght Condition type and assign to Fright Vendor.
6.Now Go for Goods Receipt with MIGO with Movement type101
7.Now immediately you have to pay to Feieght Vendor, so do Invoice Verification For Fright Vendor.Go to T.Code: MIRO and Select planned Deliver Cost and do the Invoice Veification.
8.Now go to T.Code:F-53 and pay to Fright Vendor,
9.Later you can go Invoice verification for raw material for selecting Goods/Service item
10.F-53: pay to raw material Vendor.

Weigh Scale Interface with SAP

Hello,
Can anybody please tell me how to Interface the Weih bridge With SAP Inventory Management. The requirement is that the Truck will be weighed at the Weigh Bridge, first when it is Loaded with the Material and then it will be again weighed at another weighbride when it is empty. We have to get the Net weight of the Material and create an Inbound Delivery against the Purchase Order.
Please let me know your thoughts on this.

Hi,
to create an inbound delivery you need:
Purchase order
material number
so you can create it like this:
1. create a table that will contain "process delivery"
2. create an interface (mobile, sapgui, anything) that will
create an entry to this table - with material number and PO number
3. when the Weigh will send any info XI (or any other middleware)
can look up this table for PO and matnr and send an inbound delivery to SAP
to see how to create delivery IDOCs:

Weighing scale interface with SAP PI sheet

Dear all,
I have questions related to SAP and weighing scale interface and PI sheet handling, seek for expert advise.
As project rquirement we have to implement integration of weighing scale with SAP ECC 6.0
We have used the ERP scale pocket program to make hardware and communication with scale, in SAP did configuration to communicate with pocket program, created a new RFC and made config on Packing profile,
We dont want to use the packing station code HUPAST
Instead planned to call weighing from PI sheet,hence planned to use dynamic function call on PI sheet with modified function module which calls HU_GET_RFC_DATA (fm of HUPAST), is it right approach?
Can we call multiple time dynamic functional call from PI sheet, earlier i tried with some other functional module, i get variable lock and ready only error when processing second material. I believe its a variable issue of dynamic function call on PI sheet. How can i resolve it?

We have one like that, you can ask for a developer (SDK) to make it customized. Rgarding the weight machine it must be digital then the computer capture the digital text as .txt then upload the information to the SBO.

Capture Weigh Bridge Reading in ABAP Program through RS232 port

Dear SAPers,
I am in Cement Implementation Project and i have requirement to Connect Weigh Bridge to SAP ERP and capture the readings of that Weigh Bridge in ABAP program.
How can i capture those readings in ABAP program or save them in a Z table using RS232 port????

Weighing Scale integration with SAP ( Packing Station)

    We need to have our Weighing Scales integrated with SAP to capture the READINGS for parcels / cartons / shipments automatically.
    I observe there is a provision for maintaining RFC connection , Scale Checkbox etc in SPRO--->Logistics Exec ---> Packing --->Set profile for packing w.r.t HUPAST tcode ...
    Would you plz help me with some work-arounds ...???

    There is XMI technology available that can be potentially leveraged for this type of requirements in integrating any electronic gadgets talking to SAP ....
I think SAP XMI will be vry useful for this.
XMI is having ability to capture real time data from other system and update accordingly.
It has have connectors which will capture values from other system and pull in SAP.

I am new to xMII. We want to integrate shop floor weigh scale into SAP PI Sheet to read the value from weight scale into PI Sheet. We have the infrastructure Ohaus weigh scale, xMII 12.0, SAP ERP 4.70, Kepware OPC Server, installed xMII framework for UDS and UDS 4.0. We are able to integrate the OPC Data tags into SAP PI Sheet successfully. But we need help to integrate weight scale with OPC server to read the scale value into OPC data tag.
Can any one give the steps to integrate weight scale with OPC server?

SAP has a command program that is setup and linked with the weigh bridge application.
The program pushes data to R/3.

We are receiving raw materials in bulk(No of delivery for single PO) in trucks. Its weighed at weigh bridge. How can enter the GR qty and truck details in SAP sytem. Same truck wil be weighed after unloading the raw materials.

Do you have a process controlling the gate, identifying the truck, and collection two weigh-tickets empty/loaded from teh weighbridge?
If so we have an integrated solution to collect all relevant documents (weigh tickets, delivery sheet, truck identification, even photo), outside SAP, and when all is complete send it as one object on-line to the SAP screen for entry validation. This way you get two important benefits: No SAP load for programming and server load, robustness.

this is to inform you that,
this weigh bridge concept is very simple its an interface with other or software which the company which is implementing SAP.
for EG:
my company is cement company in production plant you will be getting raw materials in tons and out going finished products will also be in tons.
in that plant there is weigh bridge where in flow of materials will be wieghed and if it matches to the paper which is getting along with then he ticks OK other wise NOT.
the above case applies to out going of goods in tons also.
