Weird black lines on tablet when items are pinned

Hi.
I'm getting weird black outlines on tablet which appears to happen when I pin an item.
Looks fine on desktop.
Any thoughts? Top is desktop below is the tablet.

Thanks guys.
First thing I checked for was strokes. None applied. I copied the item on to a white part of the page and switched off the pin and the black lines disappear.

Hey everyone,
Whenever I open different apps, (Word, Preview, Reminders, etc.) or when I hover over apps to select them, I get these weird black lines that outline the window. I have reset the PRAM before and it fixed it temporarily, but then it returned. If I go to "displays" and switch from 1440 x 900 to 1344 x 840, and then switch it back, it gets rid of the black lines. Any ideas?? I've included a photo of what it looks like. As you can see, the black lines on the left of the window is what I am talking about. Any ideas or information will be greatly appreciated. EDIT: This did not occur until after I had upgraded to Mavericks when it came out.

i think the cause could have been a finder add-on i used for a while (totalfinder), since it was an alpha build.
Almost assuredly (I will not give a lecture on Alpha or Beta software). Did you uninstall it somehow?
In any event, you have a couple of options.
Easiest first - trash a couple of preference files (com.apple.dock.plist and com.apple.finder.plist) and restart.
If that does not work, I would restore (hopefully you have one) the system to a point before you added the Alpha software.

Weird black lines

i had my whole logicboard replaced because there were weird things happening like my whole safari page looking messed up, the menu sometimes being all over and weird, black lines in the left side corner.
2 days ago (a week after replacement) i had one problem where everything was messed up and when clicking anything on the dock it logged you out!?
restarting it seemed to fix this. but the black lines in the corner came back today and i realized it happens after a growl notification pops up. when it fades away it sometimes leaves lines.
is this the OS? or is this growl? or is this something i should bring my computer in for again?

Thin black line around mask when placed in Final Cut Pro

After upgrading all to the latest version of the Pro suite, I'm getting a thin--pixel-wide-black line around my Motion masks when placed back in Final cut pro. Is anyone else seeing this?

Try this:
Open you media bin (F5) click on the "Media" tab at the top and find the "offending file". Click on the file and go to your Inspector-->Media. Under the "Alpha Type" drop-down menu, select "Premultiplied - Black" (or white or color) and see if that fixes it. I was having a similar issue with a white line appearing and this fixed it.

Outlook 2011 on MAC Sent Items folders not syncing when items are moved and deleted

Emails in the in the inbox can be moved to different folders and they will update (disappear from the inbox) on the Macbook with Outlook 2011 . the Windows PC outlook 2010, Iphone and OWA update accordingly. Sent Items that are moved on the Macbook are only
moved in the Macbook. The rest of the machines still have the email in the sent items folder and the "moved" email in the folder it was moved to.
Redid the identity and its a new install. What is next? Sent items are changed on the Macbook more often and the changes need to propagate across all the devices.

Do you have Cached mode enabled in Windows PC Outlook 2010? If so, please turn if off to see the result. To do this, open Outlook 2010, click File > Account Settings > Account Settings, double click your Exchange account, then clear the
Use Cached Exchange Mode check box.
Since this issue may also related to Outlook 2011, you can also post in the Outlook for Mac forum to see if there is any good suggestion:

I just upgraded my Firefox program and now a group of black lines running 10-15 deep are appearing on my monitor from time-to-time

I just upgraded my Firefox program to a new version and immediately I started seeing a group of black lines running 10-15 deep running across my computer screen while on the Web. As I scroll down they sometimes disappear. Then they reappear. It doesn't happen all the time. But often enough.

Contact Apple. That sounds like a hardware issue in the graphics circuit.

How create TO from TR when items are QM relevant?

I am using function module L_TO_CREATE_TR to create a TO from a TR for raw materials being GR'd into a raw material warehouse.
QM is set up. If I use function module L_TO_CREATE_TR, I keep getting error 2 (QM_relevant). However, if I go through LT04, I would need to go through palletization to bring up the screen in order to choose the place into stock option before entering the bin into which I am placing stock
Is there a way of creating a TO from TR where items are QM relevant with some function without resorting to doing a call transation of LT04?
Any help would be appreciated

Weird black "burn" in brushes when I push down on tablet

Hey everyone,
I'm recieving this wierd, almost pixelated burn in my brush whenever I push down my pen onto my Intuos4 tablet.
It's happening with ALL of my brushes regardless of presets or whatever kind of textures or effects I have on them. This image is from a fresh document, there are no filters or any other effects running. Just a colored brush producing these weird pixels. I'm running Adobe Photoshop CS6 on Windows 7 - Intel Core i7-3770K CPU @ 3.50GHz 3.90Ghz - 8Gb RAM - AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series
Let me know if any other info would be helpful. Any information you guys have would be super helpful as this is the most annoying thing ever.

I'll leave this up because I solved this "myself" and it might help future generations of dweebs. After realizing that the black pixelization occured in gradients as well, I did some simple searching and found this link:

Apparently it is simply an issue with AMD's drivers for the 7-- HD series and after a quick update the problem went away entirely.

IBook freezes when items are sent to print

hi there.
our iBook freezes whenever we send something to print. the icon for the printer never shows up in the icon bar and there is no reaction from the printer, but when the computer is restarted, the printer spits out whatever was being printed.
this happens no matter how many applications are open, and even when the printer's usb cable is plugged directly into the computer (our normal set-up has the printer's usb plugged into a usb hub that houses a couple other peripherals.)
any ideas?

Are you trying to download items simultaneously? If so, you may be taxing the RAM on the iPad. You mention apps download fine as long as you are not trying to download any other content at the same time. I would suggest one download at a time if the iPad is freezing when you perform simlutaneous downloads.
If you insist on continuing that way - and it is your choice to do so - you may want to close any open apps and restart the iPad on occasion if you want to download this way.

When items are deleted from photo stream are they deleted from iPhoto also?

when I delete photos from the photo stream are they ever deleted from my iphoto library? I do not want to lose any photos when photo stream reached its limit.

To avoid any unwonted deletion before you have time to import your photos into iPhoto, you should set the automatic import in iPhoto preferences.

Calendar not updating on Iphone when items are removed from Outlook calendar.

Recently a couple of my board members purchased IPhones and IPads. And I have set them up the best I can. If they create a calendar entry on the IPhone or IPad it will show up in Outlook right away. However if they or one of their admins log onto their Outlook calendars and remove a schedule meeting the entry will not delete off the IPhone or IPads. I know there is a 15 minute sync on the devices but I have tested them after hours and days and the entries are still on the calendars on the mobile devices. This creates serious issues when people show up to meetings and destinations that have been cancled days in advanced. If anyone knows anything about how to fix this please let me know.

Do they log directly into the account or come in with proxy/delegate access?

Shrinking page when items are hidden

Thanks to other posts on this forum I got a section of my form to be hidden when a checkbox is checked but now I've got a large blank white spot. Is there a way to have other content move up into it's place? I plan on trying to have some other sections work the same way and when it's all done I don't want to be printing several pages that are mostly blank.
Any help would be appreciated.

This is the difference between Presence of "Hidden" versus "Invisible". Invisible will still take up space on the layout, while Hidden will not take up space.
Also, you need to be using a flowed container as your subform or page. If it's positioned, then hiding fields wont' cause everything else to move up.

I think this layout problem happens in Internet Explorer for me too.

Delete SO Schedule lines only if corresponding PO items are deleted

I am using BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE to delete schedule lines from sales order..
According to Standard SAP if PO is created for the sales Order we cann't delete Schedule lines until we delete PO line items...
But using this BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE it is possible to delete schedule lines even if PO items are not deleted...
Any idea y it is happening like this..?

Weird BLACK FRAMES ...

Folks, I'm suddenly getting these weird black frames around every selected item or window. It first emerged when I was working in Photoshop, and suddenly a large black frame covered part of the monitor (emerging off the screen). This black frame would disappear & reappear when I would click out of the image area (clicking inside a palette, or other item)... as soon as I would begin rendering again, boom, the black frame reappeared. Sometimes it would partially conform to the boundaries of my image, sometimes off to the side and running off the screen as though it was indicating the boundary for some large phantom window.
When closing Photoshop, the weirdness continued, with black frames forming around ANY icon or entry window. ----- I tried restarting my Mac, even shutting the machine off for awhile and rebooting. The frames came back.
Also... in the Apple pull down menu along the top, there are now 2 Restart lisings, 2 shutdown listings, and 2 Logout listings (I don't recall ever seeing TWO of each of these).
Is my OS corrupted somehow? (as it is NOT isolated to Photoshop, but appears constantly.)
