Weird Error with Creative Cloud

I have the Adobe updater telling me that I have updates, but when I click on the icon in the System Tray and select "Open Updater" it brings up what you can see in this screenshot:
As you can see the CC application is locked/frozen and you can see the desktop wallpaper through it. This happens right after the CC app logs me in. The little window with the CC icon in it has focus and cannot be closed. I have to use the Task Manager to close this application to remove it from my desktop, there's no other way.
I'm on Windows 8.1. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried canceling and trying again?  If the problem still continues please try downloading the trial from http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop&loc=en_us.

    I have Windows 7... I have been a Creative Cloud member since the beginning... I know what I am doing. Anyways... suddenly, the Creative Cloud app that keeps track of your apps and updating them, etc. is jacked up. As far as I can tell, nothing changed on my end... perhaps Creative Cloud updated itself and caught a bug?   • Syncing Issues with Creative Cloud - No Solution - Please Reply

    I have spent over two hours with your live chat team in which they took over my computer, deleted files from the CMD prompt and I am still receiving syncing errors using Creative Cloud.
    They had me, delete files, restart my computer, sign-in and out of Creative Cloud, pause syncing, change file directories and nothing work.  My issue was then escalated to upper management in which I had to repeat the entire issue.
    I was passed around from multiple individuals in live chat and at the end, no solution was found.  I have been an Adobe client for over 15 years now and I am not pleased that a resolution still has not been found.
    I wasted over 2 hours on live chat and then received an email stating that my case was closed because the support team found a resolution!  This was completely untrue.
    I am asking someone from Adobe upper management to please contact me directly.  I will not spend more time with your live chat team and send more log files that do no good.  As a long-time client, please contact me.

    It may not be possible to manually update your payment details.  Could you please place a new order and get back to us if you have further issues.

  • Is anyone else having trouble with Creative Cloud Tonight? ALLLLL Applications are down. None are working.

    I have verified with at least 5 other people that all their applications are down and no one can sign in to the creative cloud on their desktop. I am experiencing the exact same thing. It started with Lightroom and then just stopped. I was able to just log into photoshop, but i can confirm lightroom is def not working any longer after the upgrade 2015 the other day. its horrible.

    I can still launch applications, but for some reason the CreativeCloud app is hung on a network request.
    I was able to force quit the Creative Cloud app, then relaunch it, and it is working.
    Lightroom and Photoshop launch, but LR is hanging for about 20 seconds in the splash screen (when it normally does not).
    So yes, there appears to be some sort of network/server issue with Creative Cloud right now.
    But I can't find any errors listed in their status pages, so it may only be a slowdown due to a network issue outside the servers.

    When the Creative Cloud Software tries to call out we are seeing a connection attempt to https://ops:443/ims/token/v1
    I have researched and the only reference to IMS for Adobe I was able to locate was the IMSService.  This appears to be an authentication service.  The issue is that "ops" is not a valid domain.
    This issue only appears to affect the Creative Cloud Software as I was able to update a test machine with Creative Cloud through the Adobe Application Manager.
    The user's system and our test system are running OS X Yosemite

    I use OLD Dreamweaver, and upload my HTML with an FTP program to my own web site... I will GUESS you can do that, if you can save HTML to your hard drive to then be able to upload to your web site

    The preview seemed broken on the comments tab but the image was appearing for me under the Extract one. When I downloaded the original it looked like the linking was preserved. The online version didn't seem to denote in any way that the Cecinas layer contained a Linked Smart Object, which might be helpful, but it did have the preview. Here are some screenshots of what I was seeing. Thanks for posting about it. I'll pass it on to our engineering department.
