Weird glitching problem with AE CC [video]

Hey guys,
I only managed to catch the last couple seconds of this happening. Basically, I went adjust my keylight effect, and AE froze, than began this glitching. At every glitch a new AE icon would appear in the application bar, then immediately close out, you can sort of see this at the end.
It did this for a good 20 seconds.
Anyone know why this could happen/heard of this happening?
EDIT: Almost forgot to add that I was working between AE and Premiere at the time via dynamic link.
Thanks,
Dan

I am finding the ability to download previous purchases now shown on my iCloud account to be difficult.  Music appears fine and most movies are OK but I have problems with all music videos included with album purchases.  Any ideas?

Firstly, I purchased my first iPhone a few years ago, since then there have been a lot of apps released, a lot which I downloaded for free, tried and deleted from both my phone and my iTune 'Apps' Panel. What bothers me is when I do get a new iOS device, iPad and/or iPhone 5, and I don't want to just copy the back-up of my current iOS device to the new one, then to get the apps I want I will have to scroll through countless useless 'trash' applications in my purchase history to 'cloud download' the ones I want.
Just sync the apps you want from your computer. You don't need to redownload them directly on the iPhone Purchased list.
Will Apple be employing such a feature, a 'permanently delete/un-purchase' feature?
    Dunno.

  • I am still having problems with my music videos freezing (all purchased from iTunes) since the update.  Have restarted, rebooted etc. and it is worse than before.  Help!  Spent a lot of money on these and they won't play properly.

I am still having problems with my music videos freezing (all purchased on iTunes) since the update.  The first day of the update, no problems...played 6 hours of music videos and no freezing.  Today...every single video froze!!! So frustrating!  I rebooted, restarted, powered down and no help.   I would appreciate any suggestions.  Thanks.

I don't know how to do this without using a mouse point.
    This may help, http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000542.htm
As for question #2, you call tell how iTunes is sorting songs by the up or down arrow next to a header name.
Even the original order that the songs were entered or date added or last played can be sorted.
Much easier with a mouse or touch pad.

  • Problem with RTPExport output video files

Hi, I have a problem with RTPExport output video files. One side streams H263/RTP(AVTransmit2.java) and other write this steam to a file by RTPExport.java. When network conditions are ideal, output video file has same fps and same number of frames like original file. Problem occures, when theres packet lost in network, then output file has different fps,and also has less frames like original video(because it didnt write missing frames to file, and thats why it get shorter). Pls how can I achieve output file that will have the same fps like original one? How to write to file an identical copy of what I can see while receiveing video with AVReceive2.java? Its there a way to modifi rtpexport or avreceiver to do this? Thanks a lot!

Problem occures, when theres packet lost in network, then output file has different fps,and also has less frames like original video(because it didnt write missing frames to file, and thats why it get shorter). Okay, first off, the second file is smaller on purpose. RTP intentionally drops packets that are old/out of order in order to make sure real-time video stays as close to real time as it can. This is by design, so there's really nothing that can be done about it.
How to write to file an identical copy of what I can see while receiveing video with AVReceive2.java? Technically speaking, what you're getting in the RTPExport is exactly what you got on the receiving end. Any frames that are dropped during transmission will not be seen by the receiver, nor saved by the receiver.
Pls how can I achieve output file that will have the same fps like original one? I'm not 100% sure that you can, but, you can give the following idea a try. I make no guarentees that it'll work, but it should work for you...
That example is an example of a "custom transport layer" for RTP connections. Essentially, it's some code that's handed the RTP packets on the transmission end, and it's expected to deliver those RTP packets on the other end. And it doesn't care about how they get from A to B, only that they do.
If you were to replace the UDP socket in that example with a TCP socket, you would be guarenteed not to drop packets due to network reasons. Every RTP packet you were handed by the transmitter, you would then hand to the receiver. There is no guarentee that none of the packets would be cast away as "old" by the RTP protocol itself, but there's also no guarentee any of them would be. It's a crap-shoot at best, but it's certainly worth a try.

  • Synching audio problem with MPEG-4 video in QuickTime

    Hello,
I’m having a problem with MPEG-4 video file I created with TechSmith Camtasia (6.0.1).
Problem: The audio does not sync up with the video when played with Apple QuickTime 7.6 (latest build) in Windows Vista. The longer the video plays the more out of sync the audio is. Here's where it gets interesting:
When I play the file using Adobe Media Player or Adobe Flash Player (plug-in in Internet Explorer), the video and audio sync up and all is good.
Is there a problem with how Quicktime decompresses this type of file?
Does anyone have any idea what is happening?
    Thanks,
    Leo

If I remember well, N70 plays mp4 video without problems. Try resizing during encoding to 176 x 144 and reducing frame rate to 15 frames per second. Also try to keep data rate below 200 kb/s. If you are using MediaCoder do not go with default settings for Nokia N70, they are too optimistic.

"I Tunes Has Detected a Problem with Your Audio/Video Configuration. Audio/video playback may not operate properly."
Does anyone know why I'm getting this error message? After getting it, I usually cannot hear any sound on I Tunes or other media players.
I've already tried uninstalling and re-installing the drivers and it doesn't help. I also have the latest version of I Tunes. Any ideas?

I had this problem also and uninstalled and then reinstalled Quick-time yesterday and the problem was solved.
However when I turned on my PC today, I had the same problem again but this time uninstalling and reintsalling Quick-time is not working.
Anyone any other suggestions as to how to fix this problem?
    Thanks.

  • TS3367 FaceTime has a problem with calling (audio, video) between two devices when they are in the different networks.

    Hi,
I have a problem with calling by FaceTime when me and my friend are in the different networks.
When i call to another device I see this call on that device and tap to the answer button after that i see a message "connecting" but the first device is trying to call in during about 1 minute and finish the call.
But if both of the devices have connected to the one network (wifi) it works correct.

Actually, it started working fine when I told it to capture
sound at 11kHz.. I should have tried that first, before making a
fuss here, sorry. Looks like some weird glitch, a driver problem
maybe, but anyway, switching to 11kHz seems to have solved
    it.

  • Problem with playing HD videos

    Hello,
My problem is with playing HD videos ( 720p or Full HD).
After upgrading Windows on my laptop and installing drivers, everything was fine till i tried to solve the win 8.1 problem with display drivers and inability to change the level of brightness. After that I discovered that the laptop can't play videos in higher res when they are offline (they become choppy and start to lag behind audio), so i figured the problem is in codecs or the player because any video was playing online. I have tried different codec packs like K lite or FFdshow, tried many players also like VLC, Sm, BS, WM Classic...nothing helped. So  i deleted all those players and codecs so now i cant play HD videos online either.
Also i have noticed that when i start any hd video CPU usage goes up to 95%.
Any suggestions what should i do next ?

    Hi there @milosevarsen
I understand that you are having performance issues when watching videos. I am happy to help. Since your CPU usage is climbing to 95%, that is a part or symptom of the problem.
Work through this page. The main thing is to make sure you control what is running on your system and the amount of available memory. So you will want to look for  viruses and malware, and then what other applications are loaded on your system. Over time these tend to accumulate, and slow down your computer.
Resolving Slow System Performance (Windows 8)
The other option would be to look at possibly upgrading your memory. When a file is much larger than the available memory, you are going to see the CPU running harder.
    I hope this helps.

  • Problems with Fios and video games.

    Hi,
I switched from Time Warner Cable to Fios last month and I've been having problems with my internet going down on ALL computers whenever ONE of them plays a game online.  I know it sounds strange, but as far as we can tell, it's only caused by video games.  Basically, whenever a game such as Counter-Strike is started, the internet will go down on every computer for about 5 minutes.
I called tech support and they had me unplug the Actiontec router and plug the cable directly into my computer.  When we tried Counter Strike again it worked with no problems.  The guy said the problem is a known bug with the router they gave me, but since the TV service needs the router, I can't use my old router that works fine!  I switched to Fios and waited through the 6 hour install because I thought it was supposed to be faster, but it never works!
I don't want to pay the termination fee to cancel, but I need my internet to work.  Anybody have any ideas??

So I guess this is a well known problem then.  I followed the instructions from that site and used my own router with the Verizon router plugged in.  The internet worked for the computers, but when I tried showtime on demand it was a no-go.  It looks like alot of people had success with this so I'll try again when I get back from work later today.  Thanks for the help.
It's really sad that Verizon makes us go through all this hassle just go get a working internet connection.  My friend was going to switch when I showed him how many more HD channels I had now, but when I told him about the internet problems he changed his mind.  I would have waited too if I knew they still had bugs.

  • Problems with my new Video iPod

Hi, I just got a brand new black 30GB video iPod, so far it has been great. However, I've noticed a problem with the HD. Whenever the HD is spinning up and the iPod is moved you can hear the HD clunk. It also tends to make a odd whirring noise when I move the iPod around. If the iPod is moving around during startup (Apple logo appears) it will clunk and I will get the sad iPod icon. This doesn't seem right, this is exactly what my previous iPod did (20GB 4G) and that is why I got the new video iPod as a replacement. It just doesn't seem right for it to do this. Has anyone else noticed this before or do I just have bad luck with my iPod's? Secondly, I was considering buying the Apple USB power adapter. It is possible to buy a 3rd party charger for less money than what Apple wants? It's really stupid to not have a charger included on a device this expensive.
    Power Mac G5 SP 1.8 (Rev B.), iMac G3, iPod Video 30GB Black   Mac OS X (10.4.2)

The sad face icon usually means the hard drive is dead. If you're seeing it, it sounds like your hard drive is about to die. I'd exchange it or get it repaired. One thing I would do now too is to do the diagnostic on the iPod just to see if the hard drive is bad. Reset the iPod by pressing Menu and Center. Right when the Apple logo appears, quickly hold down Center and RW. Press Menu to do manual test, go to IO, go to HardDrive, and then to HDSmartData. If the hard drive is good, it gives values for retracts, reallocs, and some other numbers.
Third party USB power adapters should work fine, and yes I agree it is cheesy and cheap for Apple not to include one, which they used to when they were nicer.

  • Weird display problem with iMac 24"

Hi guys, I have a very weird problem with my 24" iMac. For some reason it seems that after approx. 10 minutes using the Mac, whenever I keep a window on top of another window and then I minimize it, it keeps there like a ghost for another 5-10 seconds until it fades away slowly slowly.
Sometimes it's hard to see it however it's very evident when using a white window (such as Safari) on a dark background (not black).
I'm attaching an image split into 2 parts, the 2nd part is shot exactly after I minimised the browser. It clearly shows a faded ghost image on the grey Photoshop canvas.
    Here's the pic:
    http://www.neilazzopardi.com/imac.jpg
Has anyone ever experienced a problem similar to mine? or am I getting paranoid?
By the way, I bought this Mac, 5 months ago and I don't know whether this problem has been there from the beginning but I only noticed recently while cropping in Photoshop and still seeing the parts I removed away very faded.

den.thed it's not that I took it the wrong way or anything but shouldn't I be doing whatever I like with my iMac?
For the record that is a dark grey Photoshop canvas, which just happens to show the problem much more evidently.
The problem is that it happens on any background (even desktop) with any window, even Adium etc. Their ghost just stays there for a while... I use the iMac for design purposes and it's very annoying especially when cropping a picture and what I just cut out stays there very faded...

  • Problem with the imported video clips

Hi! I'm very new to Premiere Pro, so please don't scold me :)
I have a video file (.AVI) that I want to remove the audio from, and insert a new audio track.
Here's my problem: When I import the AVI file into Premiere, and double-click it to preview it, it is really glitchy. The video is 1 minute long. During ~5 seconds in the very beginning, the whole video's "video" track is played, extremely speeded up (It plays through it all). The rest of the video consists of a freezed frame, and the audio is played in normal pace.
I do not know which codec the AVI-file is encoded with, is this relevant?
When I restarted Premiere the first time, it told me that it had to download codecs. I pressed OK and the codecs was downloaded and installed okay, but the problem remains.
I copied the .AVI-file directly from my camera (Canon IXUS 700 I believe).
When I play the original AVI file with VLC, everything runs perfectly with audio and video.
I'm totally clueless, anyone have a clue how I can solve this?
Any help at all appreciated, thanks in advance!

    >I do not know which codec the AVI-file is encoded with, is this relevant?
    Very relevant. Please provide
these details to help us help you.

  • Problem with 10bit RGB video

    Hello.
    I'm having a problem with a project which was first edited with a low res proxy;
The editor sent me the complete edit, and I switched the source file to the uncompressed file. They are both exactly the same duration, frame size, etc, but the proxy is a ProRes422 quicktime, and the master scan is a uncompressed 10bit RGB quicktime file (codec AJA Kona Uncompressed RGB Linear R10k).
What I want to do is export the edited version of the movie in an uncompressed RGB 10 bit file, to use as a master for every format, including a possible DPX conversion for 35mm filmout. The master file is a 16mm film scan.
The problem is, when I export the video as 10bit RGB, DPX, Cineon, etc, the image when rendered looks like this (it looks the same when paused inside premiere, but looks normal when I move the cursor or play it back without rendering, curiously):
The only thin I found that could be causing this is inside the clip properties: it shows a 24bit pixel depth (8bit/channel), when the correct (and verified via MediaInfo) pixel depth for this clip is 10bit/channel, saved as 32bitsPerPixel.

The frame looks like this when rendered as 8bit (with MAximum Bit Depth disabled in the sequence settings):
And this is the Clip Properties info from Premiere CS5:
    File Path: M:\VELHARIA_Bruto\Fernandes16mm6-2-11.mov
    Type: QuickTime Movie
    File Size: 374,5 GB
    Image Size: 1920 x 1080
    Pixel Depth: 24
    Frame Rate: 23,976
    Total Duration: 00:33:40:03
Average Data Rate: 189,7 MB / second
    Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1,0
    QuickTime Details:
    Movie contains 1 video track(s), 0 audio track(s) and 0 timecode track(s).
    Video:
This movie appears to have DROPPED FRAMES.
There are 48483 frames with a duration of 125/2997ths.
There is 1 frame with a duration of 495/2997ths.
    Video track 1:
    Duration is 0:33:42:04
Average frame rate is 23,98 fps
Video track 1 contains 1 type(s) of video data:
    Video data block #1:
    Frame Size = 1920 x 1080
    Compressor = RGB 10-bit

  • 2 Problems with MSI NX8800GT Video

I have 2 problems with my newish (4-5 weeks old) computer....
I built the computer using all parts from Newegg.com... My signature should say all the pertinent parts but please ask me if you need addtl info.
1st problem - When watching movies/videos in any video player (I have tried WMP10,WMP11, WMP Classic, VLC Player, and Zoom Player) after a random amount of time the graphics get distorted and the computer freezes.  By distorted I mean that it acts like the decoder stops working because it goes to wavy multi colored lines and you cant see the picture at all... It also distorts the Mouse Cursor when this happens.  It did this right after I put the computer together on a clean install of WinXP with SP2 and all critical updates from Windows Update but I somehow got it to stop for a while by installing a codec package and using WMP Classic for a while.... But today I updated to WMP 11 from windows update and it has started doing it again.... I have tried the newest graphics driver from Nvidia 175.16 or whatever just released on 07/05/08.... which leads to
2nd Problem - Since I upgraded the graphics driver my DVI out to my monitor is not working.... it says NO SIGNAL.  It was working before I upgraded the drivers so I don't know what happened.... For the record I have a Gateway 24" HD LCD Monitor that has multiple inputs on the back for DVI, HDMI, VGA, etc...

Okay I made a bootable CD with the bios on it... Flashed the bios and got back into windows...
I opened 6 different videos simultaneously and let them run for 45 minutes continuously....  NO GRAPHIC CORRUPTION!
