Weird: I have an mp4 that plays on my iPod but not in QT

Does that make any sense?
In the properties inspector in QT player, the video track shows a size of 0 x 288, but I know it's supposed to be 624 x 352... The inspector won't let me set that size...
It also "plays" in iTunes at the right size, but is very slow and jerky (one frame every 10 seconds etc) and the audio skips as well. My CPU monitor shows 85% of both G4 1.25 GHz cpus being used.

Apparently, there was a bug in iSquint which caused this problem
iSquint 1.5.2 fixes this problem, and the included "Debreaker.app" fixes any broken files.

My movies will play on my iPod but not my computer

I've purchased a few movies in iTunes (2 Days in Paris, Inglourious Basterds) that play fine on my iPod—and have bought television shows that play on both my iPod and Macbook—however the movies that I have purchased on my iTunes won't play on my computer. This is the computer on which I bought the movies and I am using the most current version of iTunes. A screenshot shows up in "Now Playing" but I otherwise get a black box where the movie should play (screengrab attached). Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a way to fix it?

i have an iphone 4s. I can take a video and play it on the 4s just fine, i have always been able to down'load to my pc and view videos with no trouble. But since mid-october 2012, when i download the video to my pc, and try to play it, same as always, I am getting only audio and the video part is black. Try updating to QuickTime 7.7.3. (That has helped a few people who were getting that when trying to play the videos with version 7.7.2.)

I have a lot of songs on my ipod that are not in my itunes. Not sure why, but I'm wondering if I sync them, will I lose all of these song that are on my ipod, but not in Itunes?

I pretty much summed it up in my question. The only other pertinent detail may be that I have switched computers? I have already authorized this computer.

Thanks for the question. If your iPod is setup to manually manage content, you can add content from multiple libraries:

When manually managing content, you can add content from multiple libraries to your iPod or iPad. Even when manually managing music, some content may be available from only one library at time. This includes all content on iPhone and video content on iPod and iPad.

If the ENTIRE iTunes folder was moved or copied from the old computer to the new computer, then everything is there.
Simply open iTunes by holding SHIFT while double clicking on the iTunes icon and then point iTunes to the iTunesLibrary.itl file.

This is not the problem. We are using quicktime on the pc's and the mac. I also tried to open the file on the pc with other programs and it doesn't recognize the file. Try deleting the entries from the Movies part of your library (i.e. where you are trying to play them) and see if you get the cloud symbol next to them for re-downloading in the Purchased link

What your iPhone using friends label your phone number in their contacts is irrelevant. I don't know who you pay $9.99 a month to but it's not Apple. You can't disable text messaging on your iPad as it is not capable of SMS.
Do you still have the iPhone? If so, log out of iMessage on the iPhone.

Click on "Edit Products"
Click on the "X" to the right of the product.
