Weird mouse and keyboard events windows 7 @g550

My windows 7, on laptop lenovo g550 behaves weirdly lately. After some casual run time i can't right click on desktop, start button doesn't respond, if i switch users and log in back to my user goes back to normal.
Sometimes "c" or "v" keys do nut respond when i press them on firefox window but in adress bar i can write all fine...
Some times same behaviour happens in different window. But when i switch users back again to my user via windows+L key its come back to normal. Please help )
Scanned with updated anti virus nod, malware scanned with lavasoft adaware, cc cleaned. Drivers on gpu are latest, rest of drivers are updated and windows 7 is updated promptly.

Yes, it also happens if I switch to a virtual console. In fact, I attempted to open a session on a virtual console (ctrl-alt-F1) the last time it happened, but I couldn't because my password wasn't logged correctly; the weird thing is, I could type the login name (for example, 'root' or my user name), but when I tried to enter the password it always returned an authentication error because the password was misspelled, or something. I also tried to reset the X server to see if it solved the issue, but I couldn't because the 'Alt' key was not working (when it happens, the only solution is to reboot from the GUI). Any ideas?
Oh, and thanks for your comment about my desktop

  • Capture All Mouse and Keyboard events even if java window NOT in FOCUS

    Hi All,
    Is this possible to capture all mouse and keyboard events even if java window is not in focus or is minimized. This java program should cature each and every event from the user once the program is started. Any help in this regard is appreciated!
    Thanks&Regards
    Sam

    I don't think you can. (without JNI)

  • Lock all mouse and keyboard event.

    i am looking ways to lock up all the mouse and keyboard events in windows...do u guy have ways to solve this?

    Do you mean that people should not be able to start other applications, or switch to other running applications, before they have typed the right password into you java program? I don't think that can be done in java - it requires more control over the computer than Java typically gives you. You may have some success with full-screen AWT, though.
    But why not use log-on-systems incorporated in whatever operating system you are using? Or some other netware thingie? Honestly, I think you are trying to reinvent the wheel, and even with tool that's not very appropriate.

  • In Flashplayer, I can crossover mouse and keyboard events. In IrfanView I cannot. Can this be fixed?

    My client uses IrfanView to play SWF files. Unfortunately, he does not use Flashplayer. In Flashplayer, I can crossover mouse and keyboard events with no problem. In IrfanView, the second I click a button, the keyboard events are disabled. Is there a fix?

    Hi Ned. I may have posted this issue a bit early, but this problem is also happening in Flashplayer 10. It's not exclusive to IrfanView.
    Here is something that I encountered during my testing, when I jump to scene 6 using the menu button, I have a play button to jump from one frame to the next frame that stops -- the keyboard events start working. But if all I am doing is jumping scene to scene with the mouse button, the keyboard events are disabled.
    I feel as if the keyboard events only work if I am playing frames in the scene. And if all I am doing is jumping scene to scene using the buttons, the keys will disable.
    I set up the mouse buttons inside a movieclip that all the scenes share. The mouse actionscript is in the movieclip. On the main timeline of each scene is an actionscript for the keyboard events, even though I had to change each function name.
    I feel the actionscript is setup pretty simple. I just wish clicking the buttons would not disable the keyboard events. This may sound redundant, but the keyboard events do the same thing if you use the mouse buttons. It's just preference for the client even though he will need to understand that using the mouse buttons override the keyboard events. He doesn't really lose functionality.
    Keyboard actionscripting below:
    import flash.events.KeyboardEvent;
    stage.addEventListener(KeyboardEvent.KEY_DOWN, onKeyEvent);
    function onKeyEvent(e:KeyboardEvent):void {
    var character:String=String.fromCharCode(e.charCode);
    if (e.keyCode==72) {
      gotoAndStop(1,"master");
    if (e.charCode==49) {
      gotoAndPlay(1,"Distributor");
    if (e.charCode==50) {
      gotoAndPlay(1,"Mirka");
    if (e.charCode==51) {
      gotoAndPlay(1,"Farm");
    if (e.charCode==52) {
      gotoAndPlay(1,"Check2");
    if (e.charCode==53) {
      gotoAndPlay(1,"Check3");
    if (e.charCode==54) {
      gotoAndPlay(1,"Scene2");
    if (e.charCode==55) {
      gotoAndPlay(1,"Scene1");

  • Apple Wireless mouse and keyboard with Windows on iMac Intel

    Hi there!
    Is it possible to use the Apple Wireless mouse and keyboard on the iMac Intel running Windows XP?
    My bluetooth setup assistant can't find any of them.
    Thanks!

    Actually if You Use the wireless mouse during the setup for windows it works fine the only drawback it that using the wireless mouse on windows is that it drains the battery more quickly than Mac OS X does. So make sure you have extra batteries around

  • Recording the input of mouse and keyboard outside of  a visible GUI

    I am trying to write something sorta like pc anywhere except I dont quite know how to approach the problem of recording the input from the mouse and keyboard. I have thought of using a glass pane the size of the screen but once I have captured the mouse or keyboard events how do I send them through to the underlying OS (as if nothing happened)?

    This is not possible in java. You should register to some native mouse and keyboard listener mechanism. and let them notify you of all the mouse and keyboard events. Maybe JNI can help you accomplish this.

  • USB mouse and keyboard don't work on HP Pavilion g7 2203sd, Windows 8.1.

    It is not possible to use a USB mouse or keyboard on the HP Pavilion g7 2203sd notebook running Windows 8.1.
    A wireless mouse used to work (already some time ago), but now wired or wireless mouse and keyboard don't work any more.
    I have tried removing USB devices in the Windows Device Manager and let Windows detect them again, but it does not work.
    I read somewhere that it might have to do with the xHCI USB controller that is installed.
    I tried removing that and connecting the USB mouse but no succes.
    I also looked for driver updates or something to disbale in the BIOS (like xHCI), but nothing found for that.
    Can anybody help me with this problem.
    Thanks!

  • Wireless mouse and keyboard Windows 7

    I successfully installed Windows 7 (32 bit) on Apple boot camp (3.2) of my iMac 24.
    Everything is working perfectly, except my wireless Magic mouse and wireless keyboard.
    I found 2 Bluetooth adapters (Generic Bluetooth adapter and Microsoft Bluetooth-enumerator).
    The mouse and keyboard are found but won't install!
    What am I doing wrong?

    Try to use this guide to install your keyboard and mouse (mouse is the same as keyboard)

  • How to fix the mouse and keyboard freezing when installing Windows 7 on 27' iMac late 2013?

    Hi, I have a question for u guys who can solve this.
    I recently bought the new 27' iMac late 2013, and I installed some softwares and used it for few days.
    Before I bought this I used the 15' Macbook Pro Retina, I installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, and I used the Windows for gaming.
    So back to my question.
    So I bought the new iMac and I was tying to install Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit (with the same CD).
    After dividing the partition, and other stuff, the iMac rebooted and I hold down the option (alt) key. I choose the Windows CD, and it said it is "getting ready to install Windows". I let it load, and the blue screen where you choose the language, time/location and keyboard input popped up. At the bottom right corner (at the same page), there is a button that said "Next (N)" which u need to click it to go to the next step. I was moving my mouse to click the button, but I realized that my mouse and keyboard was frozen. I tried both wireless and wired mouse and keyboard but they didn't work. There was nothing I could do. I hold the power button, (that was the only option) and tried my mouse and keyboard on Mac OS and it worked fine.
    I thought something went wrong in the CD so I bought the Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. The result was same. It frizzed again. (I just wast few hundred $)
    Latter my friend lend me his Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit. I tried it, and it worked, it didn't freezed on Windows 8.
    The problem is I played Battlefield 4, Titan fall, and Watch Dogs, and Battlefield 4 multiplayer doesn't work on Windows 8.1. Even though when it works on Windows 8, I prefer using Windows 7.
    Dose anyone knows how to fix this freezing thing?
    My computer is:
    27' iMac late 2013 (bought it just few days ago)
    I did no upgrades when I bought it, except the graphic card.
    I bought the iMac in Korean Apple Store, and my Windows CD is in Korean, can that be a problem?
    Please leave a comment when u think u can solve my problem.

    See -> http://manuals.info.apple.com/MANUALS/1000/MA1636/en_US/boot_camp_install-setup_ 10.8.pdf.
    In addition to the Windows disc (or USB flash drive with the Windows installer) you'll need a 8GB+ flash drive.
    The referenced manual - on page 3, I think, gives you a run-down of what you'll need before you begin the installation. You may also want to post any further Boot Camp questions in the Boot Camp forum -> https://discussions.apple.com/community/windows_software/boot_camp.
    Good luck,

  • Boot-camp/Windows with cordless mouse and keyboard

    I am picking up my 27" quad core iMac tomorrow. In anticipation I bought the Pogue book on Snow Leopard. In it he says that you can't install Windows with the cordless mouse and keyboard but that once installed it can be used with the cordless mouse/keyboard. Will someone please tell me he is wrong .
    Thanks.
    Alan

    I used mine to install Windows. Worked just fine till the Apple Bluetooth drivers were installed, then I just had to connect a regular USB keyboard/mouse to pair the bluetooth keyboard and mouse again.
    One suggestion, after you install the Boot Camp drivers and plug in your USB keyboard/mouse, uninstall the "Apple Bluetooth" drivers (I believe there are two of them) and restart your computer. Let Windows automatically install generic drivers for the built in bluetooth, THEN pair your wireless keyboard and mouse. After that you can reinstall the Apple bluetooth drivers if you want, although I don't think it's particularly necessary. The generic drivers seem to work fine in my experience.
    You may run into trouble pairing your keyboard and mouse, if so, refer to the "Boot Camp" section on this site, there are millions of threads about it there.

  • Windows 10 install (64 bit). Mouse and keyboard do not work, can't click through setup configuration.

    I've tried with both upgrade and iso installation (starting from Windows 7), but for some reason, after setup is finished and I get into the configuration area (IE, accepting license agreements or choosing network or choosing express setup), I do not have
    a mouse and keyboard to do anything with.  The keyboard and mouse are powered, but aren't giving input.  For example, toggling cap's lock does not show up on the keyboard's lights.
    Keyboard is Razer Black Widow, mouse is Gigabyte M8000X.  I also tried with a Microsoft wireless mouse/keyboard pair with the Razer unplugged during setup (Reason being, a separate razer setup window would appear during the 'configuring devices' stage).
     I am able to install to virtual box, but I've only tried the 32 bit installer.  I have not yet tried the 32 bit installer on the actual machine, and I have not yet tried booting to the CD.

    It sounds like it is time to restore from the backups you made just before making the disk changes.
    You can re-partition and restore your backups.  If you didn't make backups first (you were warned that it might damage things and to make sure you had a good backup) then you will need to repartition everything and reinstall from scratch...

  • Reading mouse and keyboard outside program

    Hi!
    Is it possible to do what title says? I would like to make program that record everything that user do with mouse and keyboard and then "play" same actions again.
    Playing is easy using Robot class. Also reading (polling) mouse location on screen is possible with PointerInfo class.
    But is it really so that I can't read mouse clicks or keypresses any way when mouse or keyboard focus is outside the Java program frame? At least I didn't find any kind of class that I could use for this.
    Thanks!

    No spyware, I was thinking more like cheating in one game ;-)
    But well, that's a bit odd. There is already PointerInfo telling mouse coordinates, why not somekind of ButtonInfo telling state of mouse buttons...
    I have additional question, related to this same thing:
    If I want to make Java program that run on background (i.e. no frame or window visible) and I want to have it so that when you press for example ctrl+shift+L, that Java program gui appears to screen.
    But if it's not possible to read keyboard events outside program frame, this isn't possible either? Or is there some workaround to this?
    There seems to be possibility of using SystemTray coming in Java version 6, that nice! But still, I would like to know is there any way to "wake up" Java program that doesn't currently have any kind of gui visible on screen.
    Thanks again!

  • [Solved] Mouse and Keyboard Dont Work After BIOS Update

    I spent the last few hours in windows 7 trying to prove to the guys over at MSFN that my problem wasn't driver or bios related by updating to the latest drivers and upgrading my bios to the most recent version. After I was finished I decided to boot back into arch to work some more on my custom kernel (since oddly it had the same problem before the bios update, the mouse and keyboard worked on one boot but once i rebooted into it again they no longer worked) and found that the keyboard and mouse no longer worked, thinking I had rebooted into the custom kernel by accident I rebooted and selected the default kernel once again only to find that the mouse and keyboard still didn't work.
    Any ideas on how to fix this? I really don't want to reinstall since I just installed it last night.
    Edit: Another silly mistake, i had renamed the original xorg.conf and never put back when I was finished. This makes me wonder why KDM even started up at all though.

    Hello base76, welcome to the HP Forums.
    It appears that the mouse and keyboard aren't working correctly. I will try to assist you with this.
    To start could you please provide the following:
    Model and product numbers for you notebook.
    Currently install operating system.
    Were these working previously? If yes, were any changes made prior to them not working?
    Have you attempted any troubleshooting? If yes, what have you tried so far?
    I look forward to your reply.
    Thank you for posting on the HP Forums.
