Weird new bug in CC2014? Audio in sync, but audio keyframes too early???

Hi everyone,
I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem with PP CC2014. I just edited a wedding video clip with music and vows. The music and voices match the picture perfectly upon export, but the audio keyframes are out of sync by 9-12 frames ahead of when they should kick in. In Premiere, my music keyframes are in the right place to lower the music when someone says something, but upon export, the music fades down and goes back up half a second too soon.
I've never encountered this problem before. I edited 30fps FullHD AVCHD footage from my Panasonic GH4, and 30fps FullHD XDCAM 35bps footage from my Sony EX1, in a 30fps FullHD Sony XDCAM sequence, and used 2 MP3s. Oddly enough, the audio keyframes over the first song from 0-4:24 are fine. The problem only appears over the second song, Eternal Flame by Brand X Music, from 4:25-6:51. I'm exporting in H.264, 10-20kbps 2-pass VBR. The problem is present whether I do a direct export from Premiere, or use AME. I also tested exporting in Quicktime, which doesn't solve the problem. Ditto for MPEG2 DVD.
Any ideas? It seems the only solution for now is for me to move my audio keyframes 10 frames ahead of where they should be in my timeline, which results in nonsense on my Timeline, but correct sync in my exports.

Been up the whole night with the same issue. Never had this with previous versions and clearly noticeably on my edits as I tend to cut on the beats. Counted a 12 frame shift from cut to beat. Oddly the AE comps for my opening and closing titles with their audio embedded in the comps stayed in sync. Couldn't say for the video footage, because I unlinked the audio and deleted it, since I wasn't using it. The problem seems to only be with the soundtrack.
After shifting the audio back and forth and multiple renders I opted to try CBR which you'll be pleased to know killed the bug and I now have perfectly synced renders.

Try to reset the iPod by pressing the home and sleep button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data doing a reset, but it can clear some glitches after installing new software or apps.

I have downloaded the latest version of itunes to my computer and when I sync my new iphone, it says it is syncing, but does not grab the music from my current library.

What is the exact error and where specifically is it occurring?

HT1766 I broke my screen and the phone is only a little over a month! Is there an option that is less than getting a new phone? We bought a replacement but it's too complicated.

I broke the screen to my new iPhone 4s and we purchased a new screen online but it is too complicated to install. Any solutions you can provide that won't be too expensive?

Weird new bugs

Hey everyone,
I just updated to the new build and am loving it so far. I just have a couple problems that need addressing.
First off, My search bar doesn't work. At all. I can't for the life of me figure out to get it to work. The "Search the web and Windows" text can't be edited at all. Just highlighted.
Also, my metro apps crash randomly and with no real reason behind it. I can't use windows update either, it fails every time.
And most importantly, the UI scaling across both my screens is a little glitchy. I have a 4k monitor and a 1080p monitor. I can fix it so that the scale is the same across both, but when I sign out or use a fullscreen application, it goes back to being fine
on the 4k screen, and far too large on the 1080p.
These issues are minor but incredibly annoying and I'd love any help.

For the search issue, have you tested this in another user account? or is it connected to a Microsoft Account? If it is, please disconnect the Microsoft Account, then test again, I noticed that some users encountered this issue with Microsoft Account. Meanwhile,
go to control panel\Indexing optios\Advanced\rebuild to rebuild the index and check if it is helpful.
For the Windows Store apps, I would suggest you reinstall the apps if possible, if issue persists, reset Windows Store cache by running wsreset.exe. Regarding to Windows Update, any error messages? Please also make sure to install latest drivers for your
device such as the monitor.

I have a couple things to recommend here. First if you have not already, turn off the iPod Nano, and turn it back on, then try again. From iPod nano (6th generation): Software update version 1.1 changes found here http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4531.
Turning iPod nano off completely and turning it on again
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button for several seconds to turn iPod nano off completely.
Note: If the iPod nano (6th generation) is showing that it's charging or attached to a powered accessory or cable, you cannot turn off the iPod until you detach the accessory or cable from the device.

How to restore iPod
Verify that you have an active Internet connection, because you may need to download new versions of the iTunes and iPod Software.
Download and install the latest version of iTunes if necessary.
Open iTunes. Connect your iPod to your computer using the USB or FireWire cable that came with your iPod.
After a few moments, your iPod will appear in the Source panel in iTunes.
Select your iPod in the Source panel. You will see information about your iPod appear in the Summary tab of the main iTunes window.
Click Restore.
If you are using a Mac, you will be asked to enter an administrator’s name and password.
A progress bar will appear on the computer screen, indicating that stage one of the restore process has begun. When this stage is done, iTunes will present one of two messages with instructions specific to the iPod model you are restoring.
Disconnect iPod and connect it to iPod Power Adapter (typically applies to older iPod models).
Leave iPod connected to computer to complete restore (typically applies newer iPod models).
During stage two of the restore process, the iPod displays an Apple logo as well as a progress bar at the bottom of the display. It is critical that the iPod remain connected to the computer or iPod power adapter during this stage.
Note: The progress bar may be difficult to see, because the backlight on the iPod display may be off.
After stage two of the restore process is complete, the iTunes Setup Assistant window will appear. It will ask you to name your iPod and choose your syncing preferences, as it did when you connected your iPod for the first time.

HT1386 I need help getting my music to sync from iphone to computer itunes. Got a new computer and everything else will sync but my music from my iphone.

I use my work computer to sync my iphone due to outlook appointments and email. I was given a new computer and got everything transferred ok, except for my music. I need to transfer my music from my iphone to my computer itunes. itunes is only giving me the option to sync from itunes to iphone, which would wipe out all of my music I think. Can someone help with this?

razmee209 is right, but if you can't get your old computer, you can use iExplorer to download your music from your phone to your computer. I've used it for other things and it works.

HT1351 Audio book download on computer, shows up in my g drive for ipod, but will not connect with my device ...goes through syncing, but audio book not is transferred to actual device

Same problem here with the same iPod- Gen4, 20 G- this started on Friday. None of the "fixes" Apple offers help because iTunes and My Computer freeze when the iPod is connected. If I disconnect while My Computer is open, it shows up briefly as the E: drive with an exclamation point and then disappears. If I disconnect with iTunes open, everything that I tried to open while it was connected suddenly pops up. I can't restore the iPod because the Updater freezes while the iPod is connected. There is no difference when I try to do these things in disk mode. The disk manager function in windows sees the iPod, but freezes up when you try and click on it.
I've run all the diagnostic tests and it passed them all. It does the same thing on other computers (all PCs) that I've tried.

Imported dvd into premiere pro 2014 as a linked file with audio and video but audio from previous editing file is playing with video

I am editing in premiere pro 2014 on a windows 8.1 system with 12 mega byes of ram. I imported a dvd into premiere from a .f4v that was
burned using freemakevideo converter.
I imported the DVD into premiere and the audio that is playing is from an previous project I edited with the program, as oppose
to, the audio that is linked with the video imported.
Do you know why this is? I cleaned my media cache and I rebooted my machine.
Please help

Without knowing the specs of your videos it is hard to say. I'm also running a Mac and am having no such issues.
My first thought is that you have something from a 3rd party installed that is causing conflicts. If all else fails try transcoding your mp4 files to a frame based codec using the Adobe Media Encoder. Pick one of the Apple production codecs or Jpeg compressed QuickTime.
Are you running a ram preview? Did you render your Premiere timeline? Are you new to AE?

No audio from Play, but audio from Chapter

I'm running Encore CS3. I burned my disc and popped it into my DVD player (same thing happens in the computer's DVD player).
If I click Play (which plays the timeline), I get no audio. However, if I navigate to the chapters, then click a chapter, I get audio.
Any idea what's going on here?

Solved.
I had dragged the m2v file to the play button instead of draggin the timeline to the play button. So, the play button played ONLY video, but the chapters, which are simply points in the timeline played video AND audio.

I have the 20gb iPod that I need to put music back onto with my new computer. It starts to sync then it says "ITunes could not copy the song to the iPod because the file could not be read or written. ????

I have a 20gb iPod that needs music from ITunes. On my new computer I am trying to sync but I get error message "could not copy to iPod because file could not be read or written. Attempting to copy to the disk failed. The disk could not be read from or written to." I have tried several times and have reset to factory settings.

Is the new PC running XP as well, Chalotte?

Audio bug with WAV files: use mp3, not wav for syncing long audio files

Just a tip:
I've noticed another audio bug in Presenter (including 7.05) but there is a workaround. I often export the audio as a single, long clip from pre-recorded lecture videos, and sync it with the powerpoint slides in Presenter. I've found it easiest to import the long audio file into the first slide, then sync using the Edit Audio window. I find that much easier to use than the Sync audio window.
However, If you use WAV format for the imported audio file, sometimes Presenter will simply refuse to play back anything beyond about 5 minutes into the timeline in the Edit Audio window. Nothing fixes it - restarting, re-importing, etc. However the problem goes away if you save the audio as mp3.

New keynote doesn't sync to audio nor can I figure out a way to make it easily go to YouTube

Keynote is something I've used for years. Not a novice. I usually took a presentation into garageband to perfectly sync the audio and any added sound effects. No matter what I change the audio is off. I've fiddled with delays, I've recut the audio moving it 5 sec. one way or the other. Nothing is achieving the accuracy I'm accustomed to. Also, there is no share to Youtube. After I add the audio and record it and it appears to play in sync, something is lost in making the Quicktime movie I have to to be able to upload it to YouTube as a .mov. I've spend hours with two different presentations and I'm very frustrated.
Can someone tell me what the problem is and if it's being worked on or is there a workaround for this? Thanks for any suggestions.

Brand new AppleTV audio loses sync with video in any of the apps over time

I bought a brand new panasonic viera plasma and a brand new Apple TV. Video is set to 1080p and I have comcast cable internet. I have three apple TVs in the house. The other two are the 720P models. I've tried two new appletvs on new tv only and after an hour or so of viewing videos in any of the apps (hbogo,Netflix,Hulu) the audio loses sync resulting in me resetting the ATV and fixing the issue temporarily.
I didn't have this problem when I was using the 720p model ATV on the new tv.
Could it be the larger 1080P files?

does it happen with shared material in an itunes lib?
if not and only the internet streaming services then maybe it's a Internet network issue
