Weird, Picture gets shaky line at the top

for no apparent reason.
I have been editing a project for a while now, and for some reason, certain clips have a shaky line that appears at the top of the picture. I find it really strange because I have used some of the same clips twice in the timeline and one is fine, the other has the line.
Why would this suddenly appear?

Sorry no one got back to you sooner but 3 hours isn't very long for an answer to show up. We can aek a few days to get around to stuff.
PUlldown would only apply if your source video was shot at a different frame/field rate than your editing sequence is set for. If you shot at 24fps and were editing in 30fps space, you'd need to do something about the pulldown. But I think you've simply discovered one of the drawbacks of speed changing interlaced video without using Optical Flow to create the missing fields.
"Flickering line" is almost meaningless around here unless you provide enough information--or we ask for it. If you had captured these clips from, say, 3/4", you'd be seeing head switching artifacts that can only be cleared up with a frame sync/tbc.
Now that you've more or less solved the issue yourself, you can see how difficult it can be to diagnose these things without watching what you're doing.
