Weird User error - Items disappear from Workflow inbox when refreshed
Hi All,
One of our end users gets this error -
He logs into business workplace, and clicks on one of the items and exits without doing anything - on refresh the item vanishes from his workflow inbox - not visible in any sub folders or Outbox (Work items exceuted by me).
Same thing occurs when he clicks on the "Reserve" or "Replace" icons for an item and does a Refresh. The item disappears from Inbox.
Tried to swtich off the Preview pane and refresh - same occurence.
Tried to refresh / reserve from another computer and the same thing occurs.
Is this a problem with the GUI / user profile?
Any pointers highly appreciated.

Is the user in question a selected agent for the work item(s)? Does this happen only for a specific user? If so, it could be an authorization issue. Check for any failed authorizations (SU53) for the user. What is the status of the WI when it disappears from the inbox? If in error, check for error messages in the technical display of the WF log.

Work Item to be disappeared from user1 inbox when escalated to user2
Hi,
I created a customising workflow for Credit Memo Request with 2 escalations for approval. I have used Fork operation to get this functionality with Requested start option in 2nd and 3rd branch to escalate after 3 and 6 days respectively if not the document is approved by the agent in branch 1.
Every thing works fine, but the client wants the work item to be removed from USER1's inbox when escalates to USER2 and from USER1 & USER2's inbox when escalated to USER3.
Could you guide how can we do it in my case.

you can make use of 'Processing Obsolete' here as it would remove workitems from the approvers inbox whose deadline is missed.
First of all , in the decision step make 'processing obsolete' active under 'outcome tab' of the task.
Use latest end with time as 3 days and action as modeled.Now in modeled deadline, make use of process control step and select 'set workitem as obsolete' and put step number of your dialogue step in 'workflow step'.
This will make the workitem diasppear from the approver inbox once the deadline is missed after 3 days.
Now to repeat the process fro 2nd and 3rd approver , put all of this in a loop, and before loop ends, find the next approver id in the outcome 'Processing obsolete' of the desicion step.and pass this id to the expression used for approver.
The loop condition can be a flag that is set to X when a deadline is reached. To do so, add a container operation in modeled deadline before process control step that will put the flag X.
So loop will continue to second pass if deadline is missed and hence so on till 3rd approver.Formulate condition for highest level of approval too.

Issue with sent items disappearing from Outlook
We are having an issue with many of our users who have had their sent items disappear from Outlook. We are running Exchange 2010 SP2 with Rollup 8. All users on Windows 7 appear to be working fine, it is just users on XP that are having the issue. All
PCs are SP3 with updates applied. The messages were there previously, but the Sent folder shows empty as of Monday. They show correctly in OWA, it is just in Outlook itself that is the problem. If we enable cached mode the items populate, but our standard
policy is to run online with no local PST. We have tried running Outlook with /clearviews and in Safe Mode, but this does not resolve the issue.Hi,
From your description, all the sent items are correct in OWA. So the Exchange Server is ok.
About this issue, I recommend you install all the latest Windows updates and check the result.

Thanks for your reply. I'm trying to find a way to divide events into two lists, "forthcoming" and "past events" which will automatically work without too much work for my client. If I set an event to "expired" is it still in the database and if so, can I list all expired events?

I am finding that emails are disappearing from my inbox without explanation. Has anyone any ideas what might be causing this?
I found a fix elsewhere for Mail.app. I had to remove every sub-folder under INBOX (I moved them to a local folder) and then used the MAILBOX -> REBUILD command on INBOX. It worked, but now I don't have any of the sub-folders.
I am very disappointed with Apple. I should never have to do that. Tens of Billions of dollars in cash, just lying around, and they can't be bothered to make the most basic (and central) of applications work. -
Why do new event items disappear from calendar after a few seconds
Suddenly,new event items disappear from calendar a few seconds (7-30) after creation. This has never been a problem before, and I have used iCal for years. All my old events remain but as of today, when I try to add an event, it stays on the screen for a few seconds, then disappears. I tried entering the events on my iPhone and then syncing, but they went away on my phone as well. Does anyone have an idea of what's happening? Is my iCal out of memory?

Hi, I have a problem with my mac mail account. Its linked with my website and i've just transferred my domain and host plan to 123-reg.co.uk Now for some reason emails disappear from my inbox! Emails come in and then my inbox is empty.. Help!
Lord K. Thank you. Yes I am within the 90 time period, however I travel Intertionally and I can not receive not make a call to Apple. I was just at the Genius Bar in Chicago and they said, don't worry about it. It just floats out there, however, I can not recover my messages on a flash drive. I need to go back to my old computer which I don't have with me. My messages were in folders for a lawsuit. It is going to take an incredible amount of work for me to, you have no Idea. We are talking thousands of pages! I the defendent will have them during discovery so I am not so worried. However, I can not bring them to him on a Flashdrive when I meet with him without an extraordinary amount of presssure on my part. THis is not just some little email issue. My email disappeared from my inbox
My email messages totally disappeared from my inbox yesterday! New mail After turning my phone off and back on, new messages came into my inbox, but cannot see or find my old messages. Messages in folder in my mail are still there, but not the inbox.I always back up to the cloud, but have not been able to restore from the cloud.

Messages disappeared from my Inbox after Rebuilding

I accidentally clicked on "Rebuild" in Mail and messages of the last 3 months have disappeared from my Inbox. However, they are still there in the Mail folder on the hard disk. How do I make them reappear in my Inbox?? Help!!I had the same problem, after rebuilding, the Inbox was empty. I tried all the fixes I found here and on the forum numerous times with no luck. I was able to recover most email using a Time Machine restore, but the Inbox still was not accepting any new mail. Finally, realizing that my MobileMe mail server was fine, and that Mail continued to work on my iPod, I opened my Mail preferences and deleted my MobileMe account from the machine, and then added it back, configured exactly as it was before. Bingo! Everything is back to normal.

Item disappeared from cache...
I inserted 4 items in my cache. I have a JTable that displays them as they show up. I saw all four come in. That app's console logging confirmed it:

AndrewAll I do to reproduce it is start coherence, register a trigger with that offending line of code in it and add an Execution to the Executions cache. The Execution shows up, but is immediately gone as soon as that line of code in the trigger runs. No entryDeleted event comes over the CQC. I haven't tried doing a get on the missing object's key yet.

Error code -45054 from iTunes store when trying to purchase content
Tried everything I could think of. Had already done a fresh install of OS Mavericks and this issue recently came up. Couldn't find any threads describing a fix so any help is appreciated.
