Weird Visuals in CC 2014

Ever since updating to Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014, I've been having all sorts of visual issues. First off, while I know it's hard to see in the top image (tilting your screen back makes it more obvious), there's some serious strobing going on in the image, even though my project and sequence settings are exactly the same as they were in the 2013 version, where no such issue has ever occurred. I could live with it if it was just a preview bug, but it's showing up in my exported files as well, which is really bizarre, because there's no strobing at all in the original files, or if I export out of the 2013 CC.
Secondly, all the previews seem out of wack, with these weird black and blue blocks appearing (the backgrounds of these images should be solid white). Any ideas on how to fix either of these issues?

It has an option to invert, and an option to ignore the alpha channel. Neither seems to have done the trick. And it's definitely not interlaced material.
What's weird is that sometimes, if I restart Premiere, it won't strobe for a little while. But it almost seems like the minute I start scrubbing through the timeline, the strobing is induced. I don't know why in the world there would be any connection there, but it seems to be causing it somehow.

  • Stacks weird visual bug

    Hi,
    I'm running Leopard 10.5.3 on a 1Ghz iMac G4 which came with a GeForce4 MX graphics card. I've been using stacks from the beginning (and loving it) but every time I use it, a weird visual bug is triggered; basically white semi-transparent rectangles appear along the edges. You can find a screenshot of this at http://picasaweb.google.com/luis.beca/StacksBug/photo#5206710255993309346. Any clues as to why this is happening or how to solve it?
    I should point out that I have been stuck with this problem from the very beginning, not just the latest Leopard version 10.5.3. I have an Intel MacBook Pro where this is not an issue.
    Many thanks in advance
    Luís
    PS - How can I submit this to Apple?

    I think you can thank Apple for this.  See this discussion.

  • Could not load file or assembly Microsoft.SqlServer.management.sdk.sfc version 11.0.0.0 on Visual Studio Ultimate 2014 Update 4

    I am getting the infamous  "Could not load file or assembly Microsoft.SqlServer.management.sdk.sfc version 11.0.0.0." The set up of my system is Visual Studio 2013 Ultimate update 4 and my SQL server is 12.0.2000 Express. I am also using SQL
     management studio 2014. I read other comments and blogs, and reinstalled the SQL Express 12.0.2000, but no luck yet.

    Hi payam49er,
    >>I am
    getting the infamous "Could not load file or assembly Microsoft.SqlServer.management.sdk.
    sfc version 11.0.0.0."
    Based on your error, could you please tell me what you do operation and then you get the error message?
    Could you please tell me if you add a data connection from Server Explorer Window in Visual studio 2013 Ultimate update
    4 and then you get the error message?
    If yes, to check if the issue is related to the VS IDE issue, I suggest you can execute the following commands to check if it can
    help you add  data connection in VS2013 Ultimate Update 4.
    (1)I suggest you can run your VS in safe mode by executing Devenv.exe /SafeMode to add a data connect again.
    (2)I suggest you can use the Devenv.exe /ResetSettings to restores the IDE's default settings, optionally resets to the specified
    VSSettings file.
    (3)You can execute the Devenv.exe /ResetAddin to remove commands and command UI associated with the specified Add-in.
    In addition, if you used the SQL Server Express to connect the data in VS, you need to specify the server name
    as MyComputerName\SQLEXPRESS. If you used the SQL Server to connect the data in VS. Please you try to specify the server name as MyComputerName\InstanceName here to check the result.
    If still no help, according the error, it indicates that the problem is that the system cannot locate the right assembly (SQL
    Server SDK). So I think you may get better response and solutions if you consult on SQL Server forums.
    Thank you for your understanding.

  • Visual Studio Pro 2014 w/Update 4

    I have an active Action Pack subscription as Application Design and Development.  With the subscription I am entitled download of VS Pro 2013.  I have an active sign in to the MS Partner Site and related Action Pack software downloads.  I
    am also activated on the MSDN download site, with an active subscriber ID.  When attempting to download VS, I am unable to complete the download, presented with an HTTP error, something related to Akamai Downloads, indicating a "Save As"
    dialog box will appear, yet it does not.  When the below message appears, it then quickly resolves to an HTTP 403 error, indicating I need to sign in.  To get to the respective download area, I did sign in.  As per the Akamai FAQ, the active
    X module does not install itself or present and option to authorize its download and installation.
    I arrived at this location on the direction of a MS Partner/Action Pack Forum member/moderator.
    I would request assistance on how to complete the download.
    Thank you.
    Akamai Downloads: In moments, a "Save As" dialog box will appear. You can select the default location or choose a different location to store your downloaded files. Click the "Save" button. The Download Manager console
    will open and you will have the option to Pause, Stop, or Cancel your downloads, or see file details and download progress.
    If you have not already installed the ActiveX control, an information bar will appear in your Internet browser prompting you to install the ActiveX control.
    If the Download Manager cannot install the ActiveX control in your browser, you may have system restrictions.

    Hello,
    Welcome to MSDN forum.
    Your issue is out of support range of VS General Question forum which mainly discusses the usage issue of Visual Studio IDE such as
    WPF & SL designer, Visual Studio Guidance Automation Toolkit, Developer Documentation and Help System
    and Visual Studio Editor.
    Now you got problems when you downloaded software from Action Pack software downloads. MS Action Pack's official support here:
    http://www.microsoft.com/OEM/en/support/Pages/index.aspx#fbid=V1m69ZJNz4I is a better place to resolve your issue.

  • Weird problem with LED TV

    I recently purchased a Coby 15 inch LED TV. When I'm sitting up in my wheelchair viewing it, the picture is fine. But when I'm lying down in bed viewing it, objects and figures on the screen turn black or a dark gray outlined in black. Sometimes everything looks like they are in the middle of a thick fog; other times it is like looking at a film negative. If patches of skin show through, they are very red as though the color adjustment was turned way up. I'm pretty sure that I'm not hallucinating. Does anybody know what is going on here and if it can be easily corrected? BTW, this is a replacement TV for one I had purchased earlier. It had to be replaced after a couple of days because there was no picture at all coming through, but before it went completely out the screen had the same weird visual appearance when I was viewing it lying down.

    Problem is created by your viewing angle. LCD panels by nature emit light in a 'polarized' fashion, restricting the viewing angle that the reflected light looks correct. Tilting the TV to give you a more direct viewing angle (usually 45 degrees, left or right of center is optimal) should resolve your issue.  -Agent M

  • Radeon driver doesn't detect outputs

    Hello,
    I have had my laptop, a Dell Inspiron 15R SE, for about a year now. In the beginning I tried to set up the fglrx drivers, but I never really got them to work reliably and I didn't like the fact that many packages had to be kept a couple of versions behind, so I eventually gave up. I tried the Radeon drivers once, but they reported some error and I decided to just go with the Intel card, as that one worked perfectly since the beginning.
    Lately I have started to play some games on Linux, and because the Intel card isn't really fast enough for some of those I decided to try and get the AMD card working on Linux once more. I went for the Radeon driver, because according to a bunch of benchmarks it already offers far superior performance to the Intel. So I installed xf86-video-ati. After removing "blacklist radeon" from a file in /etc/modprobe.d the driver actually started loading when starting X, but now I have a problem I can't seem to solve.
    When X starts it immediately stops with the error message "no screens found(EE)". /var/log/Xorg.0.log contains this:

    I have a file /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-driver.conf that contains the following:
    Section "Device"
    Identifier "Monitor"
    Driver "radeon"
    BusID "PCI:1:0:0"
    #Driver "intel"
    #BusID "PCI:0:2:0"
    EndSection
    Right now I have instead commented out the Driver "radeon" and BusID "PCI:1:0:0" lines and uncommented the ones for the Intel card, and then X starts up normally.
    lspci | grep VGA
    outputs
    00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 3rd Gen Core processor Graphics Controller (rev 09)
    01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Chelsea LP [Radeon HD 7730M] (rev ff)
    I tried uninstalling the xf86-video-intel driver and removing the 20-driver.conf file. X did start up then, but it seemed to be using the "modesetting" driver as the default, with horrible performance weird visual glitches.
    xrandr --listproviders
    then did list the AMD card as a secondary provider, which it doesn't do now.
    I have also tried booting with
    radeon.pcie_gen2=0
    on the kernel command line, but that changed nothing.
    Am I missing something?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,
    I have had my laptop, a Dell Inspiron 15R SE, for about a year now.

    #Driver "intel"
    #BusID "PCI:0:2:0"

    I tried uninstalling the xf86-video-intel driver and removing the 20-driver.conf file. X did start up then, but it seemed to be using the "modesetting" driver as the default, with horrible performance weird visual glitches.
    xrandr --listproviders
    then did list the AMD card as a secondary provider, which it doesn't do now.
    I have also tried booting with
    radeon.pcie_gen2=0
    on the kernel command line, but that changed nothing.
    Am I missing something?
    Thanks in advance.

  • LR Mobile sync caused iPad mini to crash continuously and reboot with blue screen?

    Hi,
    I've been using LR Mobile on my iPad Mini (Retina) for quite sometime now without any issues. It worked flawlessly, until yesterday.
    I'm not sure whether this problem was caused by the LR Mobile app or not but this was my experience.
    Begin syncing a LR Catalog file (760 photos, needed 1.6 GB of space on my iPad). Sync and download was in progress. (I enabled the offline edit option).
    After like 10 minutes, I checked my iPad to see the sync status and it crashed and restarted by itself.
    After it booted, I opened LR Mobile and bang.... it crashed again.
    This happened several times and I also begin to get the blue screen of death on the iPad.
    Finally, it booted properly and I opened LRM and begin to re-sync. Things went smoothly.
    I had to cancel the sync (around 650 photos were synced) as I had to rush to work and the sync process was taking too long (it took me like 3 hours to sync the 650 photos as the iPad would go into sleep and the sync process would stop. Plus the iPad was crashing and rebooting in between the sync process and caused a loss of time).
    Anyhow, on the way to work I opened LRM and begin working on the images. Everything seemed fine.
    Just an hour ago, when I unlocked my iPad and wanted to work on the images, it crashed again. This time it went in a reboot cycle and the screen went bonkers - got the blue screen, and weird visual distortions of the apple logo, and other unusual visual effects begin to occur. I thought the iPad was gone for, as it went off and wouldn't even restart. (I even tried doing a hard reset - Home + Sleep/Wake buttons).
    Finally when it booted and restarted on its own, I immediately deleted the LR Mobile app and restarted the iPad.
    It's been like 2 hours now and the iPad's working fine.
    Did anyone experience similar issues like this? Or is it just me
    I feel very annoyed because after waiting for hours for my catalog to sync, I had to delete the app and lost all my synced photos
    Can the Adobe LRM team please clarify if this could have been cause by the LRM app?
    I've been using LRM for a long time and never encountered such a problem. Could it be because the app required around 1.6 GB of space on the iPad and they sync/download process was taking like forever to get done. ( I had plenty of free space on my iPad. Had like 5.6 GB free on it).
    Any help and advise would be truly appreciated

    Hi,
    Lightroom mobile should not be causing any iPad crashers, the issue with the crashing LrM is a known issue.
    What would help would be if you can collect logs from your tablet and send them privately to me.
    Only then we can know for sure if it's really caused by LrMobile.
    We would need all your logs that you can find under these folders that are close to the date and time when your device restarted.
    OSX: /Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/DeviceName/
    Windows: C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Apple computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice\DeviceName\
    Btw you need to sync with iTunes to see them.
    thanks,
    Ignacio

  • Lenovo A606 Bricked

    Hello,
    I have a new Lenovo A606, that came with a strange ROM (IMEI not recognized, some weird WIFI setup) from 2014. I was able to set it up and correct the problems (thanks to google), but I still had some language issues (the Lenovo Apps including dialer, contacts, sms, etc… were English only). I was able to root it fine, and no working problem.
    I decided to install a clean stock ROM, ROW: the A606_USR_S036_1502271022_V3_MP_ROW that is more recent and fully supports multilanguage.
    I took a PC with Windows XP, and installed the latest SP Flash Tool, following this tutorial: http://androidxda.com/flash-stock-rom-using-smart-phone-flash-tool
    I was able to install android adb drivers and the MTK driver from the ROM image. The phone was showing in the devices, then was disappearing, then showing again… I had an error, but then I tried again with the option to update the firmware, and the Flash Tool reached the end and said it flashed succesfully.
    Problem: after that, the phone was totally bricked. It would not start at all. When I plug it on the PC, it shows sporadically a device called "VENDOR 0E8D - communication" that disappears very quickly. I cannot flash it again. I just lost my brand new phone…
    I tried with SP Flash Tool, and Flash SPMDT, with different ROMs, CN only, ROW, different versions… But nothing. It always says that Flash failed. Even when the phone is not plugged, I have an error with Flash SPMDT, with all ROMs, saying that (1)COM ports number is repetitive or invalid, or (2) Brom and preloader have the same comport number! and it asks me to modify them in INI file or scan again. Of course, scan fails, when I plug the phone pressing vol up + vol down (only way to make the phone recognized by the computer without a battery), the progress goes to 100% then either stays stuck there, or says it failed. SP Flash Tools gives this error: 'BROM ERROR s_ft_enable_dram_fail (4032)'
    I tried several drivers, to clean drivers with usbdview, I tried several versions of SP Flash Tools… I don't know what to do anymore. I hope that Lenovo has a warranty and that they could flash it back to normal.
    I don't know if it is a problem accessing the META mode on the phone, or bad roms… I tried on one computer with XP, and another with Windows 8.1, and the problem is the same.
    ANY HELP would be appreciated, thank you!

    You could try this
    https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-Phones/lenovo-k900-stuck-on-lenovo-logo-logo/td-p/1288107
    or
    you must checked if your phone is fully charged and they you should try to boot phone in factory mode.

  • Skype 7.0 adds country code to Mac contact phone n...

    [Topic title updated by moderator to be more descriptive. Original topic title was: "Re: New Skype for Mac 7.0"]
    I recently upgraded my Mac to version 7.0.
    When I opened my contacts, I noticed that all of my contact numbers now had the country code +64 added to almost every phone number! I live in New Zealand (the code is +64) but most of my Skype contacts are all overseas in other countries.
    Of course, there is no way for me to edit the numbers directly now in Skype. I am supposed to fix this in my Mac contacts but these are correct. It is Version 7.0 that completely goofed my contacts up!!!   Grrrrrrr......
    How do I fix this problem? Otherwise, I will have to delete all of my contacts and re-enter them with the correct country codes.
    Most irritating. I should be able to edit in Skype but this is impossible. Looking forward to a quick reply because this is a huge mess to fix.
    Thank you.

    My contact numbers worked fine in the last version. This version 7.0 simply just added the default country code across my entire contact list containing many different country codes already.
    This is really a monumental problem for those of us in international business with a wide-range of contacts across the globe.
    I now have to go through my entire Mac contacts and delete or modify every single contact to ensure each one is correct.
    I totally regret upgrading to Version 7.0.
    One more thing: Who came up with the oscillating picture icon when connecting to a contact? It is really annoying. Its one of those weird visual things that will set off an epileptic seizure. We don't need such features...get rid of it. All I need is to see the word "Connecting."

  • Graphic keeps disappearing and getting painted over

    I am not quite sure what is going on here, but I think that my background is being repainted after I paint my rectangles on the screen, any help on what is going on here would be greatly appreciated.
    The way the code is currently set up is when I come into the method, I set my state to -1,
    The rectangle will then init itself and then go check my control variables,
    The control variables turn the rectangle the appropriate color
    since I have rip_staus_code = 10 it turns green, although
    The problem is after it turns green;
    the rectangle disappears!!!
    and I cant quite see where in the code I am repainting over the top of it.....
    Thank You
    jsg
    protected int rx1State = -1
    public void paintChildren(Graphics g){
         super.paintChildren(g);
         Graphics2D g2d = (Graphics2D)g;
       if(rx1State == -1){
               rx1 = new Rectangle2D.Double(29,110,63,57);
               g.setColor(testColor);
               g2d.fill(rx1);
               g.setColor(Color.black);
              g2d.setStroke(graphicStroke);
              g.setFont(graphicLabelFont);
              g2d.draw(rx1);
              g.drawString("rect one",49,142);
    //turn rectangle one green
      if(rx1State != 0 && ss.rtRip1_status_code >= 9){  //rip_staus_code is set to 10, so turns green
            drawChangedRect(g,rx1,Color.green);
            g.drawString("rect one",49,142);
            rx1State = 0;
    //turns rectangle one red
      if(rx1State != 2 && ss.rtRip1_status_code < 9){
         drawChangedRect(g,rx1,Color.red);
         g.drawString("Rx1",49,142);
         System.out.println("Turned Rx1 red");
         rx1State = 2;
    //turns Rectangle one white
      if(rx1State != 3 && (!ss.ColorRX1RIP1 | !ColorARROWABred )){ //ColorRX1RIP1=true, colorArrowABred=T
          drawChangedRect(g,rx1,upstreamColor);
          g.drawString("Rx1",49,142);
         rx1State = 3;

    I see a couple things wrong here.
    First, why are you overwriting paintChildren? If you want to do custom drawing, do that in paintComponent.
    Second, never change state inside a painting method. Why? Because you can't control how often repaint is called. Covering or partically covering the window, resizing the window, or programmatic calls to repaint will all cause the method to be called, and sometimes only on a portion of your component (such is the case when only partially covered). This can cause very weird visual effects. In your program, the first call to paint will paint the appropriate rectangle but then set the state flag. There is probably another call to repaint somewhere which will then repaint the component without the rectangle (because the state has now changed), painting over your rectangles. The solution, don't change the state in paint.

  • Number of simultaneous reports in web application

    Is there a limitation regarding the number of simultaneous reports that can be processed (exported to PDF) for a web application developed with SAP Crystal Reports for Visual Studio?  Could there be license problems?
    Our application is currently using Crystal Reports XI but our client is planning to upgrade the server to Windows Server 2012, and it seems that the only version of Crystal Reports that would work with this operating system is SAP CR for Visual Studio.  We have the doubt about the number of simultaneous reports.

    With CR there are 2 processing limitations.
    'Print Job Limit' of Crystal Print engine which is 75 by default.
    See this:
    http://scn.sap.com/community/crystal-reports-for-visual-studio/blog/2014/04/25/what-exactly-is-maximum-report-processing-job-limit-for-crystal-reports
    http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-21533
    And 'Concurrent processing license' which is limited to 3.

    Search the forum for print job limit or Crystal CPL, you would find plenty of info.

  • Graphical Tearing w/ Gallium 0.4 on AMD CAPE VERDE

    I installed Arch about a week ago, and it's been a great learning experience. GNOME has been slow from the beginning, though, and fortunately today I fixed that (issue with Gallium [resolution]). However, once my video card driver was loaded correctly, I noticed weird visual tearing, and a black window when making the window smaller.
    I have a Radeon HD 7770 card, which uses the Gallium 0.4 on AMD CAPE VERDE driver. I'm not quite sure what logs to post for this, I've included the relevant (I hope!) bits from Xorg.0 and the relevant dmesg bits below.

    Please let me know if there are other relevant logs, I'll post them as soon as I can.
    Also, for reference, a few images of the tearing:
    Sublime Text 2 acting weird upon resizing. This one is actually much worse than it looks, but Print Screen refuses to take a picture while I'm in the midst of resizing it.
    GNOME Settings acting weird when switching between screens.

    Option "SwapBuffersWait" "true" sounds related. But you might just have to wait until glamor acceleration matures. Oh and about taking a screenshot while resizing... I think this is why one of the screenshot applets allows you to set a timer.

  • GTX 570 OC Twin Frozr II Artifacts started appearing today?

    Hi.
    So today, I was tweaking a config file for Rage as everyone knows that game has pathetic graphic options, and I noticed I started getting some weird visual artifacts. I know this game hasn't had the smoothest launch so I thought maybe it was only the game. Now all my games are doing it. I've just tested it League of Legends and Hard Reset and the same thing is happening. These games were working perfect yesterday (And all week).
    I was running the new Nvidia 285.38 beta drivers, so I thought maybe it was a driver issue so I back-rolled to the 280.26 drivers and still the same thing. I know the latter driver is stable as I was using it fine before I upgraded to the beta drivers.
    I've attached screenshots below on what I am experiencing.
    http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/542907315034022324/9CBD18E3FABD467364E7665BA44668585FC0C912/

    http://img12.imageshack.us/img12/9748/hardreset20111007164732.jpg
    My system specs are:
    Windows 7 Ultimate
    i5 2500k @ stock
    Gigabyte P67A-UD4-B3 Motherboard
    GTX 570 OC Twin Frozr II @ stock
    8GB DDR3 RAM
    Corsair Force GT 120GB SSD
    Anyone have any ideas on what I can do? My system is stable, all drivers/bios/firmware etc are up to date. I don't OC anything. My GPU temp's are fine sitting on 36 degrees atm and usually 60ish in-game. The only thing I've done different recently was I left my computer on overnight to download today ( I rarely ever do this).
    Oh and I have to mention, this is beyond frustrating. I just had my first Twin Frozr II replaced with this one on Tuesday because of a faulty fan, and now this one isn't looking too good either. I'm seriously not going to be happy if I have to wait 2 weeks again to replace this card, considering I don't have a spare card to use and my motherboard doesn't have onboard video which will render my PC unusable again for 2 weeks if this card is faulty (Possible FORCING me to buy another GPU to use in the mean time). I can't say I'm too impressed with MSI's quality control so far (Unless I just have some serious bad luck) and this might have turned me off their products for good.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

    Yes, flashing to the latest VBIOS can improve VGA stability is you have stability issues.
    You can read more about it at: https://forum-en.msi.com/faq/article/msi-nvidia-graphics-cards-from-570-580-series-read-here
    What utility do I need to flash the VBIOS? And how do I even check what VBIOS I have? Maybe I have the latest version already.
    It says
    "Users who download BIOS from here (not using Live Update) should use the flash utility included in the downloaded compressed file when doing the BIOS update. To avoid BIOS update failure, please do not use older versions of the update utility or utilities not provided by MSI."
    But there is no utility included in NV225MS.222, just the actual NV225MS.222 file?
    My computer was also doing some weird stuff last night. First I had my bios tell me that my system recovered from a boot failure due to overclock settings etc, which is strange because because I don't overclock. The symptoms I'm having (Artifacts in games) is the kind of thing you usually get from a bad overclock. I wonder if MSY replaced my GPU with a refurbished model or something?
    Then it got stuck in an endless restart cycle (Which now makes me think my power supply is messing up or something). I left my computer off overnight and it seemed to boot up his morning. I've reset my bios to default settings, uninstalled the previous nvidia drivers, ran driver sweeper in safe mode and installed the latest MSY drivers and it seems to be running ok now. Though, I haven't checked to see if I get any artifacts yet with the MSY Nvidia 266.77 Driver. I'll report back and see if I do.

  • SQL Server 2014 Express (32 bit) issues with Microsoft OLE DB Provider for Visual FoxPro

    Hello, I am trying to create a sample data warehouse and some reports etc to demonstrate SQL server and subsequent automation to a company I am working for.  I am trying to import data from the company's VFP based software into a new SQL Server database.
     (please note, this is not custom developed software, so i am unable to push the data from VPF)
    I keep getting errors and SQL server crashes when i try to access the Microsofl OLE DB Provider for Visual Fox Pro similar to this thread https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/88296548-553e-4402-93e3-6f26f5de343d/dtswizard-importexport-utility-error-trying-to-use-vfp-oledb-provider?forum=sqldataaccess
     however, the solution outlined in that thread will not work, as i cannot create an SSIS package in Express.
    I have also attempted to use the OLE DB in Excel as well to test it, and it crashes Excel the same way.

    No, I attempted to use the Microsofl OLE DB Provider for Visual Fox Pro to access the .dbf from Excel,
    and it behaved identically to the way it did in SQL Server.
    I can use the Microsoft Excel Data source in SQL Server to link an excel file to SQL Server perfectly fine.

  • FInding the Reporting Services 2014 Web Service in Visual Studio 2013

    Hello
    I am trying to figure out how to Find the webservice for my SSRS 2014 Installation from Visual Studio 2013.
    I looked at this article
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms155398.aspx
    And it seemed to say I should use:
    http://<machine name>/Reports_<Machine Name>/ReportService2010.asmx?wsdl
    I am doing this from the Add Web Reference part of Visual Studio 2013
    When I do this I get the error
    There was an error downloading 'http://<machine_Name>/Reports_<machine_Name>/ReportService2010.asmx?wsdl/_vti_bin/ListData.svc/$metadata'.
    The request failed with HTTP status 404: Not Found.
    Thanks in Advance.
    -Dick

    http://<machine name>/Reports_<Machine Name>/ReportService2010.asmx?wsdl
    Hello Dick,
    The second <Machine Name> should be the "<Instance Name>" instead, if you are using a named instance of SSRS. If it's a Default instance, then use simply
    http://<machine name>/Reports/ReportService2010.asmx?wsdl
