Weirdest problem ever!

ok, let me repost this again..
i don't know if my bb is wiped/nuked or whatever you may call it.
It's just not booting up. If i connect it with a PC/Charger, the led keeps blinking 2x, and nothing boots up.
I've tried searching the whole web for what i can do for my problem.
People suggested that i shall download the latest software of the BlackBerry Desktop Manager, and the OS for my blackberry 9550.
i did download everything.
once i connect my device to the pc, it seems to be connected normally and everything works fine. the beeping sound is heard, and "SUPPOSING" my device is connected.
When i try going through the C:\Program Files (x86)/ Common Files/ Research in motion/ Apploader >> and start the loader file.
it launches, and i'm supposed to click next.
i do click next, and (as i read on the web, "PIN: UNKOWN" must appear.) i just get my pin written down there.
and and once i click next, this error message appear: http://imageshack.us/a/img443/8612/70505766.png
and i just can't do anything with the AppLoader Wizard.
If i try using the normal BlackBerry Desktop manager, once i connect my device, it starts up like this (without me even pressing any key) : http://imageshack.us/a/img856/8425/connecterror.png
So if i press retry, the same error message appears.
So eventually, i get to press update.. and this message appears: http://imageshack.us/a/img703/5962/repaira.png
So i go ahead and press repair. and then this happens: http://imageshack.us/a/img836/5485/checking.png
in less than 5 seconds, this error message appears, and i hear the beeping sound of the device being disconnected, and reconnected back again (and i put my device on the desk without touch the USB chord):  http://imageshack.us/a/img339/7169/eroorh.png
now, i'm clueless of what i can do .. i don't know what's wrong with my device. i can't install an OS on it, nor do anything with it. and the LED keeps blinking 2x, which (as i read on the web) is a sign of life for my device.
I don't really know how can i get through this .. i hope someone can help me .. thanks

If the conventional fixes which it appears you've followed, don't work, just keep trying. Also, try with a different USB cable, just in case.
Oh, If you connect the Storm to a normal wall outlet charger, does it appear to charge or anything? I'm just wondering if there's also a fault with the USB port on that device.

  • Weirdest problem ever!! power button sensitive to touch!

    Hi,
As the title suggests, the power button is
Responding to any touch. Even if I just hold
My finger on top without pressing down or
Anything it activates the restart screen.
If I slide my finger across the top of the screen
It will turn off the screen
    Any suggestions??
    Thanks

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
From your description, that sounds like a hardware issue...I suggest in-hand evaluation by a qualified technician.

16 mo young Mac Pro will not turn on. Dead. Why. No problems ever! Installed Yosemite and did not boot up after. Did that kill it? To young to die. What happened?what do I do now??????? Help!

Note that you don't have a Mac Pro as stated. Your profile says you have a MacBook Pro. Please clarify as they are entirely different computers. If nothing below works for you, then make a Genius Appointment and take it in for service.
Try these in order testing your system after each to see if it's back to normal:
    1. a. Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM
        b. Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
    2. Restart the computer in Safe Mode, then restart again, normally. If this doesn't help, then:
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the
COMMAND and R keys until the Utilities menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the
computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager
screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
    3. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.
    4. Reinstall Yosemite: Reboot from the Recovery HD. Select Reinstall OS X from the Utilities menu, and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

Go into preferences and under playback turn off background render. That helped speed things for me when working with large files.

What is the problem with fonts changing to myriad pro? Is this problem ever going to be resolved? Its driving me mad!

    Browser Dog, Amy,
The default font remains Myriad Pro until you change it, either in the RGB/CMYK Startup files or in the preferences, options depending on versions.
Concerning missing font names, I believe this may solve it:
Open System Preferences and go to Accessibility. Next, select Display from the source list along the left, then check the box labelled Reduce transparency.

  • Updated Firmware on AirPort Extreme and problems ever since

I updated my firmware on the AE-X and I have been having problems ever since. I have my MacBook Pro and two PC's on the network. Never had any problems until I updated. What gives?

There are a number of posts reporting enough problems with this update to suggest downgrading to the previous version may be worth considering. Read the following thread to determine how to do that:

Performing a "hard reset" might be all that's required. Try that first.

  • Weirdest problem

The weirdest problem is happening when I connect my iPod to Windows. And trust me I have tried everything.
One day, I plug my iPod into the PC, and try to access the drive in Windows. (Since I set it up for letting me store files on it), but it wouldn't let me. Said that there was a problem and it had to be formatted, and prompted me to restore it via iTunes. However, when I tried to do so, it said that there was a problem accessing the iPod. And from then on, everytime I plugged it into Windows, it started freezing, and I could rarely even access it without my PC messing up.
Weird thing is, when I take the wire out,all my videos and mp3s and everything are perfectly intact, and there is no problem at all playing them!
For a week I messed around with everything, defragmenting the drive, trying hopelessly to format it, disk mode, diagnostic mode, blahblahblah. (Also I noticed when I tried to format to fat32 that the iPod was in "RAW" format) And today for some reason it let me restore it in iTunes, so I do just that. But there's the same problem again, the PC keeps freezing and messing up, and I can still access my iPod when it's not plugged in! Only my music and stuff were deleted due to restoring it.
    Any ideas? Faulty USB wire?

I have the same problem. My Ipod's format, software version, serial number, and even namearen't being recognized at all! Every time I go to reset it to factory settings it says "The Ipod 'Ipod' could not be restored. An unknown error has occurred. (1415)". But when i unplug it from the USB, all videos and songs are intact. This is the second time this has happened to my Ipod. The first time I sent it in to the factory for repairs, and they said I should have just restored it, but i wasn't able to. If there are any tricks i can try i would be happen to hear them. Help!

  • Will Apple Fix The Safari 5.0 Crash Problem Ever!!!!!!!

I have had this Sarfari 5.0 crash problem ever since the update has come out. I see hundreds of forum members having the same problem. the forum moderators are doing their best to help them to solve the crashing problems but to no end the crashing problems are still occuring. I have about 10-15 crashes daily. I send all the reports back to Apple after every crash. Looks like Apple would get the message! What it is going to take before Apple decides to fix this problem for good? Hey Apple, how about an update to fix this problem!!!!!!!

    HI David,
but to no end the crashing problems are still occuring.
Following the advice of volunteers may very help stop the crashes.
Did you try the advice given by andyBall_uk here?
    http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=11852159#11852159
If not, then uninstall your current copy of Flash, then reinstall new then repair permissions.
    Uninstall Flash
Install the most recent version of Flash here.
    Now repair permissions.
Launch Disk Utility. (Applications/Utilities) Select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left, select the FirstAid tab. Click: Repair Disk Permissions. When it's finished from the Menu Bar, Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac. If you see a long list of "messages" in the permissions window, it's ok. That can be ignored. As long as you see, "Permissions Repair Complete" when it's finished... you're done. Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac.
What it is going to take before Apple decides to fix this problem for good? Hey Apple, how about an update to fix this problem!!!!!!!
It's not Apple's responsibility to update third party software.

  • Weirdest Problem I have ever had

Ok, so this is really weird and I can't figure it out. I have a WRT54GS wireless router. I have one computer directly connected to the router with ethernet cable, an Xbox 360 connected with ethernet cable, and then one computer that connects wirelessly. I also use my iPod Touch to connect wirelessly and I myself use it most frequently for internet when I am at home, while the other people in my house use the computer that's directly connected.
As far as security goes, I live in a rural area and the next closest house to me is about 300 yards, so I'm pretty laid back on it. I have been using MAC address filtering to only allow specified MAC addresses to connect to the network, these being my personal computer and my iPod. About two days ago, my iPod was unable to connect to the internet. It was still able to join the network no problem, but was not able to access anything that required an internet connection. All the other computers in the house had no problem connecting and worked fine.
Then yesterday, the computer that is directly connected to the router stopped connecting to the internet. I am able to connect to that computer with mine, and vice versa, but the other one has no internet connection whatsoever. I can still login in from that computer to change router settings if I like, so I know it's still connected to the router. I have not tried connecting at all with the 360, but I'm assuming it will not connect either. The only thing I am able to connect to the internet with is my personal computer, which connects wirelessly (it is strange to me that I can still connect with it, but not the other computer that is directly connected into the router).
My personal computer is the only computer on the network that uses a Static IP address, so I'm guessing since it can connect and nothing else can that my router is not renewing IP leases on any other devices in my house.
So my question is, what do I do? I have already tried resetting the router and updating firmware for it. I have tried renewing IP lease on the other devices, nothing seems to be working. I have even disabled all security on the router to make sure something wasn't going on there, but none of that has helped. If anyone has any ideas as to what's going on, or what's wrong, please let me know. I'm not a genius, but I'm pretty familiar with how the router works and have tried everything I can think of.
Oh yeah, I don't know who my ISP is. Like I said, I live in a rural area, so I actually have some form of satellite internet that gets transmitted from a radio tower via FM to a box on my roof. I have tried calling the company before only to find out they only installed the equipment. They gave me the number of the provider which I called. They told me they were just the provider for the area, but not actually providers and could not actually troubleshoot any problems I might be having. Long story short, the last time I called them was about 2 years ago, and I'm still not sure who I'm dealing with.
So please, if anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it.

Try disabling MAC Address filtering and see if your X-Box and IPod can connect both at the same time...Also check if you can ping 4.2.2.2 on your wired desktop...Access your router set-up and go to status tab and look for Internet IP Address...You should have an Internet IP Address...
If you can ping 4.2.2.2 on your wired desktop try to ping yahoo.com and see if you get replies...If yes, you probably have internet access and you should disable all firewalls and adjust the browser settings(delete cookies, files, history, forms, passwords) etc...
If nothing works you should hard reset your router...
Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds...Release the reset button...Unplug the power cable from your router, wait for 30 seconds and re-connect the power cable...Now re-configure your router...See if you can connect...

  • The Weirdest XML/Actionscipt Problem Ever

    OK, so here's the setup:
I have a SWF that's pulling in images, text and links from
multiple XML docs. I have another SWF on the same page above that
that's the nav for the SWF below. I have 5 sections and all but one
    "works properly."
When the nav btn is clicked, it uses LocalConnection (pretty
sure this isn't the problem) to load in two separate XML files for
two different sections in the SWF below. There is a secondary menu
and a video player menu. The video player menu XML also holds the
info to change a featured image and text.
    OK, the problem is this:
All of the XML files work save one...the largest one creates
16 buttons for the secondary menu, but when clicked it doesn't load
the feature image and text, and won't allow them to be loaded for
any of the other menu items from there on out.
I can change the XML to just 13 button nodes and it's fine,
but the second I add one more back in, it breaks and does what I
described above. Am I crazy or has anyone else had this sort of
    problem?
    Thanks!

Oh yeah, one of the computers is a double G5.

  • Weirdest trackpad problem ever...

    OK - here it goes!
Just tonight I woke my iBook G4 from sleep and the trackpad was acting funny...I could move the cursor, but when I did I got these lines, like you would if you were using some sort of image capture program, and I could not get them to go away, nor could I click on anything. I tried shutting it down and restarting it, but nothing worked...it was useless. So, I got home, and plugged it in, and turned on my wireless mouse...everything worked fine! So, I disconnected it all again so I could go mobile, and had the SAME problem with the trackpad. This time, even plugging in the laptop and using the wireless mouse gave me the "lines" (you can drag them all over the screen), and I had to shut it down and restart it again. After that it wotked fine again. Just seems that I cannot now use my laptop with the trackpad. I've had my computer for about 4 months now with no major ptoblems. Any ideas?

Lacks in the classpath on the browser causes errors in the browser. I would be extremely surprised if things in the browser jvm can cause a NoClassDefError on the server.
My guess (but that's a guess only) is that this is somehow caused by a temporary overloading of the server.

  • Weirdest problem I've ever had

Here's a mystery for you. It's beyond me on what is going on with my computer.
When I start my computer up in my office it does something weird. Everything loads up normally except for a couple of items on the rightside in the menu bar (wireless network and language icons). If I roll my mouse over any of the items that have loaded in the top right part of the menubar, for example the volume icon, I get a spinning beach ball which goes away if I move the mouse away. It appears as if the system is still thinking or working on loading up the menu bar items. The Apple and other menu options on the left work okay.
During this time, if I open anything to do with system preferences the whole computer freezes and leaves me with spinning beach ball. This includes trying to use the items on the right side of the menu bar.
If I don't go into system prefs I can open applications and use them normally with the exception of anything needing an internet connection. Safari and Mail simply act as if they are not connected to the internet (btw I connect via built-in Airport Card).
If I wait about a half hour. The spinning ball goes away and the final menu tools load up including the Airport one which opens with Airport turned on. However, the airport card isn't connected to any networks and there are no networks available in the drop down list when there should be at least four or five (I'm in a neighborhood where just about all my neighbors have wireless hubs).
Now here is the rub. This only happens if I boot up my computer or wake it up from sleep in my office. So right now I have to go to the dining room (20 or 30 feet away) turn on my computer. Wait till it fully boots up than walk it to my office. Then everything works normally.
I thought it would go away if I did a clean install of the system software, but it still does it. It's as if my office is at a nexus where all the wireless hub signals confuse it. Well okay, that's a stretch since all the signals are available in the dining room too.
I'm just dumbfounded. Anyone have an idea? Possible microwave or electromagnetic waves causing it? Aliens? Ghosts?
    Thanks ahead of time.
    Jason

    Jason,
Can't help you, but let me know if you get an answer.
My e-mac is freezing up in a similar manner.
Sometimes the windows freeze in the middle of a zoom.
Sometimes i get the spinning beachball and sometimes the beachball freezes.
    [email protected]
    Thanks.
P.S. I haven't have the patience to wait and see if the beachball stops spinning.

Lacks in the classpath on the browser causes errors in the browser. I would be extremely surprised if things in the browser jvm can cause a NoClassDefError on the server.
My guess (but that's a guess only) is that this is somehow caused by a temporary overloading of the server.

  • The WEIRDEST behavior ever

This is the weirdest behavior i've ever seen in 8 years using
CF. My CF 7.0.2/Win2003 AS/Jrun is hanging everyday. Sometimes it
    dies 8:10, sometimes 8:20.... sometimes processor % is 50%,
sometimes is 0%. It's impossible to restart only CF, we need to
reboot the machine. I put the simultaneous requests to 64,
sometimes it hangs using 32, sometimes 63, sometimes 64.
    Perfmon
Shot 1 - Hangin at 27 running requests, Simul. set to 48, no
queues, no timeouts, not a daamn clue.
    Perfmon
Shot 2 - today... running requests at 45 (simultaneous to 64
max...??) processor time dropped to zero?
We have timeouts on every CFFTP and CFHTTP, now we're
finishing putting timeouts on every cfquery...
    1) We thought it was those damn unresponsive threads, but
nothing is scheduled to run at this particular timeframe.
    2) We thought it might me a RAR application compressing
database backup... NOPE, rar was rescheduled to 8:45 and CF died
    ate 8:10 this morning..
    3) We've been having this everyday...
    4) Database is running on a separate server, perfmon is
telling me its running smooth, although it looks like db server
    isn't responding...
    4) Overall timeout set to 60sec, individual database timeout
    30sec. CFHHTP/CFFTP timeouts, 20-30 sec.
I'll be checking for network problems and etc. but there's a
question pending answer: Why da hell CF is going thru the roof in
simultaneous requests and hanging and queue is zero (we had a
1-second 10 queues peak once) and its not timeouting.

BKBK, im really sorry for this, i haven't noticed the adult
content... i just found this image hosting site and uploaded the
perfmon shots.. and, it's Alexei my name... and it's not what youre
thinking, this is a damn free image hosting site, im not earning
nothing form it. feel free to update an image there and see how it
    works...
Sadikh, i've spotted a schedule ending near hang times, it
consists in a big cfloop with tons of cfhttps inside. thanks for
your reply, got your idea, it seems to be the right approach. Since
I believe I could isolate the problem, now i'll focus on triggering
    the weird behavior.

  • 'Your computer restarted because of a problem' ever since installing Yosemite

    Hey guys,
Ever since I installed OS X Yosemite my Macbook Pro late 2012 has crashed and restarted randomly about 10 times so far over the past few weeks. Theres no pattern with what seems to be causing this, one time I was watching something on Youtube and another I was scrolling through Facebook, and just today I restarted my laptop on my own, and right when it shut down the message appeared! The message that appears after the crash is "Your computer restarted because of a problem. Press any key to continue", followed by a normal boot up, and everything seems to run perfectly normal until another random crash. I never had this problem with Mavericks and I'm quite certain its got to do with my upgrade to Yosemite. Can someone help me find the problem or tell me what to do?
Heres the error report that I got since the last crash:
