Question

Man, do I miss InterAKT. ADDT is a migraine-inducing disaster. What a shame to see these once robust extensions turned into useless lines of code by Adobe.
I don't even know where to start. I thought I had successfully migrated from InterAKT Kollection to ADDT. Man, was I wrong. I'm confronted with a stream of errors (JavaScript and otherwise) when I try to make any changes to existing NeXtensio lists. So. I try to make a new list from scratch, and BAMM, can't even do that due to more errors. From looking over these forums it seems that Adobe is treating ADDT like leprosy.
This is extremely discouraging. I invested a lot of time and money in InterAKT and even if I had to wait a day, I'd still get direct help and advice. Now, I don't even know where to start. The errors are so numerous and convoluted, I couldn't even guess where to post a request for assistance. Here's an example: Using the "Create a Dynamic List Wizard", I go through the process of building the list screen-by-screen, then get this:

of course your concerns do have a very valid point, so I´m just going to add some alternate view on this, ok ?

ADDT is, technically speaking, absolutely identical with MX Kollection 3.7.1, that is, the code base hasn´t changed a single bit. So, problems you´re experiencing with ADDT, but didn´t have with Kollection 3.7.1, do have their roots in "something else", means the DW CS3 environment.

"ADDT" as such is rather new product released alongside with DW CS3, and as such didn´t yet have a chance to build a strong user community compared to MX Kollection, which has grown in, say, 4 years -- you can´t compare that. I´m sure the "small number of posts" does reflect this status, and most folks having posted here seem to be "ADDT primers" without any previous relation to MX Kollection.

certainly true, but as any other Adobe forum this one is a user-to-user forum, means that occasional participations by the old Interakt staff are in fact a bonus and not an obligation. Please consider how many threads in the other Adobe forums are not getting answered by the Adobe staff -- very often those fellas don´t even monitor the forums at all. In so far the ADDT forums are not an exception from the general practice

well, I don´t quite agree ;-) Please consider this :: all that great and extensive Kollection help stuff, tutorials and the forums are still out there and available -- and it´s got to be seen as "official info resource" by you guys, otherwise Adobe wouldn´t have placed a link to the Interakt forums on their "Forums" page.

whatever the future might be, Adobe certainly wouldn´t cease support for ADDT after such a narrow time frame -- look at the support they´re still giving for long outdated stuff like "Home Site", what shows that Adobe does take it´s obligations quite serious for stuff they once offered, but stopped selling in the meanwhile.

maybe not in these user-to-user forums, but -- as any other Adobe customer you´d better use their official "channels" like the wishform located at http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform.
