Sir i have a query
i install TV card in my system and flash media live encoder get encoding feed from the TV card and in video device selection i select 713xBDA analog capture which is shown in device selection drop down it is all ok but
i want to show this live feed on by flash palyer or my browser.
for camera we use get camera function and others but for TV card i dont know please tell me the any tutorials or any code script etc.
plzzzzzzzzzzz help me.

Adobe Flash Media Encoder (Free Version) Setup

I have Windows 7 64 bit. I used Windows Media Encoder and the pull method. I dedicated a port for the stream and knew how to advise people how to access the stream. I installed your Media Encoder, but I don't know how to make it a pull version. Where do I put the port that I have dedicated, and what is the way people can connect. I prefer having people connect through my computer instead of a server, since when servers get busy, they are slow. I did notice when the encoder installed and test it it works. I just need to find out how to stream as I stated above. I await your response....Steve

Problem when streaming with the CLI flash media encoder 2.5

I have a problem when streaming with Flash Media Encoder 2.5. When I run the GUI, everything works, but when I use the commandline with the same profile I have created using the GUI, it says it can't connect to the server.
I have to use this version of the encoder, because the other is not working with the server, and I have to create a program to remotely control the flash media encoder, so I have to use the CLI. What can i do to go over this problem?

There is no authentication needed. I can't use Flash Live Media Encoder 3 because it is not supported by the people which manages the server i have to connect to.
In fact, I don't know why they dont support it, but that is the way it is.
Through the GUI, i connect directly and without problems, without user/pass.

Run Flash Media Encoder from PHP?

I have tried to run Sorenson Squeeze from the command line to
no avail. So far, no help from their support either. I was
wondering. I have Flash Media Encoder V8. Can I run that via a PHP
script and tell it through arguments what file to convert and how
to convert it?
Something like: c:\Program Files\Macromedia\Flash 8 Video
Encoder\Flash 8 Video Encoder.exe - FileIn -Arguments -FileOut
Any help would be great.

which this forum was made for.

Is mp3 support going ot be added to Flash Media Encoder?

Hi everyone,
I work at CNET in the Entertainment division and we recently
launched a full on Flash video player

On the side for the past few months we have been testing
On2's Live Flash encoder and Adobe's Flash Media Encoder with
Akamai. Because of features lacking (like de-interlace) in On2's
encode, we have no choice but to use Adobe's encoder.
While there are something I wish would be added like full on
multi-thread support (considering On2VP6 is so CPU intensive),
though that's more of an On2 thing (maybe Adobe can pressure them
since Dual-Core/Quad-Core systems are the norm these days and the
On2VP6 does little to utilize it), one thing that has really urked
us is the choice for the Nellymoser codec to be the only option for
audio in the Flash Media Encoder (and On 2's).
We want to migrate from webcasting in Windows Media to Flash,
but our audience feedback has been horrible with the Flash live
streaming because of the terrible audio codec we are forced to use.
Which leads me to my question --- is there going to be any
updates in the near future to allow us to use mp3 as the audio
codec? We have several machines on order just to handle Flash Live
streaming using Adobe's software and going by user feedback, we
simply cannot do it...so we are gonna have to be forced to have
Windows Media player within our Flash which is going to kill the
user experience.
Anyhow, just hoping to hear a good answer. Have the same
question into On2's support....

I recently read on one of the listservs (not sure which one
it was... maybe the flashcomguru.com list?) that the next version
of FME will use hardware acceleration, so that should alleviate
some of the processor load. Of course, this is third party info I'm
passing along, so take it with a grain of salt.
About MP3, I'm not so sure I'd hold my breath on that one.
Problem is, FME is a free product, so I don't know if Adobe will
see value in shelling out the cash for the licensing required to
support mp3 encoding (money that will never be directly recovered).
They already have the licensing for ASAO, and as I understand
things, that ASAO license is the reason you can only use FME if you
own FMS or have an active account with one of their partner CDN's
Incidentally, this is a user-end forum, and I don't see a
strong presence from the Adobe employees around here (some, but not
a whole lot). If you were using FMS (rather than a CDN) I'd suggest
contacting Adobe support directly, but I've heard that support
requests from non-purchasers tend to fall to the bottom of the pile
indefinitely.

Flash media encoder 3.1

Hello,
I am trying to stream my xbox 360 gameplay through justin.tv.
I am having major problems with this, the first problem is when i use the flash media encoder 3.1
The software that I am using is -
Totalmedia extreme
VHScrCap
Flash media encoder 3.1
The problem which I have is when i cap the screen which i want to broadcast and transfer it into FME3.1, the picture is all blocky and and dead pixelated.
When I look at the other ppl doing this on utube, there is a perfect picture. I have changed the frame rate and stuff like that, but no matter what i do, its still the same, does anyone how how to fix this.
This is my computer specs -
Inter core 2 Duo E7500 2.93Ghz
Corsair 4GBKit (2x2GB) DDR2 800
Samsung 500GB 16mb cache
Vista home prem 64bit
NForce 6101i-Itx Geforce 7050 Graphics.

How to embed flash media encoder

I wanted to know if it is possible to embed the flash media encoder in a webpage to allow a user to encode a video input without having to download the software on their computer. I have seen several sites (Ustream, LiveStream) have this in place. I was wondering how this is done and if anyone has the code to accomplish this or if anyone knows where I can get the documentation.

You'll need to use a server side application, something like PHPMotion:

but for any server side scripting like that, you'll most likely need a dedicated server... check with your web host.

Adobe flash media encoder compatibility with the lion mac mini server

Can anyone tell me if the adobe flash media encoder is compatible with the lion mac mini server?

I am running adobe live flash encoder on a new mac-mini server with Lion and am able to stream video just fine - however I get a hum in the audio. I am not sure whether the hum is caused by the audio input, the camcorder, the adobe encoder, or the combination, but it seems to be the camcorder's fault.
There is a manual about migrating or upgrading to lion server, but none about instituting a new capability from scratch

Flash Media Encoder 3.1, ManyCam, SigmaTel, Windows XP - No Audio output to FME or to Justin.tv

I have adobe flash media encoder 3.1 installed and am trying to stream downloaded .avi, .mpeg, and other video files to justin.tv using ManyCam, Everything seems to be working fine, video stream is clear and not choppy. Audio on my end is clear, and in Flash media Encoder i have "SigmaTel audio device" selected as my audio output (which is my stock audio driver)..however i keep getting complaints that there is no sound to my page on justin.tv. As far as i know all my drivers are installed properly and up to date. The green audio bar on FME shows no activity. Im wondering if this ****** SigmaTel excuse of an audio driver just doesnt get along with FME? There is no option to select "stereo mix" as other forums have said to do. Can anyone please help me get sound to my justin.tv page? Or help me find a way to instal a different audio driver that is compatible with a dell piece-o-**** dimension e520. I have downloaded Realtek HD Audio, SoundMAX drivers, and a few others but the only audio driver this piece of **** dell wants to recognize is the SigmaTel Audio Device, Which WONT OUTPUT SOUND TO FME!!!!!! PLEASE HELP!! TUMOUR IS GROWING!!
Can i not buy a set of surround sound speakers that are hooked up via USB and go around this problem? I really just want to get RID of SIGMATEL forever, and use REALTEK...but it wont recognize no matter how many times i download it. fml!

Flash Media Encoder 3 Closes Randomly

Okay, So Everytime I open Flash media Encoder 3, And I Try To Do Somthing (Change Anything, Open Profile, Etc) It Just Randomly Closes. It Doesnt Give me a message or anything. Ive uninstalled and re installed every version of Flash media Encoder at leaste 2 or 3 times for each one. Ive restarted My Computer about 6 times and still it does the same thing every time.

When streaming audio, FME locks up good and stops sending audio, usually after 8 minutes.
I have to force down my machine with the reset button.
I even tried with no video. Same problem.

Update:
The same problem exists in Flash Media Encoder version
1.0.1.460.

Can't Activate Flash Media Encoder CS3

I just had a new hard drive installed on my Windows XP SP3, 4 GB RAM, 2 dual core Intel processors machine. I reinstalled Production Premium CS3. All of my Adobe applications activated except Flash Media Encoder CS3. When I enter my serial number, it says it is an incorrect number and places a big red X beside of the number. The number I entered is the number on the box.
I called Technical Support and held for them for over 1 1/2 hours but no one came on to answer my question. I entered the problem in the Support Portal but it has been over 24 hours and no one has contacted me. I like Adobe software but not their technical support.
Can anyone in the Forum help?

I've tried it (with cookies cleared) on three different browsers now and they all experience the same problem. I am on OS X but that should not affect my ability to connect to a particular server.
