Welcoming Teen Grid Organizations to the Main Grid
Seems you are not aware of or ignoring some details.13-15 years: are NOT able to 'visit' the grid. They are NOT able so 'see' regular gid-sims. They're restricted to specific sims, assigned by the educators. They are NOT able to see search results neither in world not at marketplace.16-17 years: can connect to the regular grid, but are limited to PG sims, not able to see mature sims, even if these are adjacent.So it's very unlikely 16-17 year olds will visit your private mature place (at least the teens with proper age-info - the others (age-cheaters) are already talking on mature places.).And it will be quite impossible that you meet 13-15 agers - you have no access to their edu-sims, they have none to the grid.
It has been several weeks since we announced that Teen Second Life, our Second Life grid for 13- to 17-year-olds, will be closing at the end of this year, and that we would be admitting 16- and 17-year-olds to the main grid. Today, we are excited to tell you that we will be able to continue serving all of the educational and not-for-profit communities of the Teen Grid, including those that serve 13- to 15-year-olds, without an interruption in service.Since our announcement, we’ve been speaking with many people from the educational and not-for-profit communities in Teen Second Life to better understand their needs and determine what measures would be necessary to create a safe, secure, and collaborative environment for their students and faculty. I’m happy to say that we are able to meet these needs, and allow 13- to 15-year-olds access to limited locations on the main grid, with appropriate controls for administrators. We will implement these controls and transfer these rich and exciting projects from Teen Second Life before the end of this year.The 13- to 15-year-old students affiliated with these organizations will be unable to visit any regions except those of their hosting organization, and those accounts will not have the ability to search the Grid or to purchase items from the Marketplace. Unlike on Teen Second Life, adults that work with these students will now be a part of the broader Second Life experience, allowing them to bring rich educational content to their students. The ability to invite organization-approved guest speakers and other approved members of the community to safely interact these students will further enhance their learning experience. For more details, see the Teen Second Life transition wiki page.We are happy to provide this support for the educational community in Second Life, and we look forward to the community continuing to create innovative and exciting projects!

Knight's Tour (works but I can't get the correct grid to print)
Hi all I have written a recursive Knight's tour method.
My trouble is when I print out the final grid it won't show the last position as being filled.
This is where I print out my grid. and it looks like this:
3 6 11 8
0 9 4 1
5 2 7 10
true
//count = number of squares in the grid = done
else if (count == (rows * cols)){
for(int i = 0; i < rows; i++){
for(int j = 0; j < cols; j++){
System.out.print(" " + grid[i][j]);
System.out.println("");
return true;
}This is the complete class
import java.util.Scanner;
public class KnightProblem{
private int [][] grid; //arrays for the grid
private int rows, cols; //size of grid
private int startx, starty; //starting loc.
private int count = 1; //keeps track of counted squares.
Scanner sc = new Scanner(System.in); //keyboard input.
//setter to get grid size, and starting loc.

System.out.print("Enter the number of rows: ");

Welcome to Apple Support Communities
It means that it is not connected to the Internet, so it may be turned off. Another option would be that somebody has resetted it to default settings and has changed the Apple ID, being impossible to track your son's iPhone. Anyway, report it to the police because it is the only thing you can do at the moment -
Localconfig is not found out in the new grid Oracle_HOME
Hi There,
Ifollowed the metalink Note ID 736121.1 to upgrad ASM for Non-RAC from 10gr2 to 11gr2. The 11gr2 Grid installation is successful, which is on a different directory from the current ASM directory. What I did for insallation is software only installation. However, when I'm doing step 4 in the Note, localconfig is not found out in the now Grid home directory(/ora/fs0000/app/grid/11.2.0/bin). even no DBUA is found out either. I'm unable to upgrade ASM for non-RAC from 10r2 to 11gr2.
With the successful installation of 11rr2 grid, the CSS is running in 11gr2, but No DBUA is found out in the new Grid Oracle_HOME directory.

Here are the steps in Note 736121.1:
1) Install the new 11g ASM Oracle Home (on a different directory) as described in the Installation Guide associated with your specific platform :
http://www.oracle.com/pls/db111/portal.portal_db?selected=11&frame=
==)> Installation Guide for <your platform/Os>
2) Shutdown all the database instances that are using ASM as storage option.
3) Shutdown the ASM instance.
4) Reconfigure the CSS service:
Connect as root OS user and execute:
$ORACLE_HOME/bin/localconfig reset
Where: $ORACLE_HOME is the new 11g ASM Oracle Home
5) Startup the ASM instance (connected as Oracle OS user) as usual (using the 10g Oracle Home).
6) From another graphical session, set the environment variables (ORACLE_HOME, PATH, etc.) pointing to your new 11 ASM Oracle Home.
7) Then execute the DBUA from the new ASM 11gOracle_Home/bin/dbua:
DBUA will show 2 options:
=)> upgrade ASM instance.
=)> upgrade the database
8) Select [upgrade ASM instance] option. The DBUA will upgrade your ASM instance to release 11g automatically.
9) Finally, please startup the databases that are using ASM as storage option.
Does anyone has experience upgrading 10g ASM for Non-RAC to 11gR2?
Thanks in advance.

In previous versions, setting browser.newtab.url to about:blank disabled the newtab grid.
Now that I've updated to Firefox 18, Firefox doesn't remember the setting.
When I restart Firefox, it changes the browser.newtab.url that I had set to about:blank back to about:newtab.If you do not keep changes after a restart then see:

Is it possible to display list alv and grid alv in the same screen
Hi
There are methods to display more than 1 alv grid in the same screen by using block append grid . In the same manner its available for more than 1 list alv report display by REUSE_ALV_BLOCK_LIST_APPEND.
My question is I want to display 1 alv list and 1 alv grid report in the same output screen .
Please let me know how to do it ? I will definetly appreciate the answers.
Thanks!!Hi Anindita,
Previously i ad told v cant display two lists together in same screen. But u can use Block ALV for this. Use FM "REUSE_ALV_BLOCK_LIST_APPEND.
In OO u can use Cl_GUI_EAST_SPLITTER_CONTAINER for displayin more than two lists in same screen.
If useful giv points

How to get the alv grid report in another screen when double click on basic
Hi.
I have created an alv report using class cl_gui_alv_grid.I got another report in the same screen,when double clicked on basic list(using double_click event).I want to get this report in another screen.What i have to do?(In classical reports i worked with sy-lsind = 1 ,but how to do here?)
How to set color to the selected rows in the alv grid report?I worked with change_data_from_inside method of cl_gui_alv_grid.But it didn't work out..
With Regards,
Ramana.On double click event . you will have to call another screen say 9000.
now within screen 900 PBO.. you will have to prepare the fieldcatalog/layout.. and the table to be displayed there.
in PAI of screen 9000, you can return to the original ALV.
method double_click.
call screen 9000.
endmethod.
" now in PBO create a module display_alv2
module display_alv2.
'prepare the fieldcat/layout info for new alv
'add the data to the new ALV table
'instantiate the grid call.. etc
'call the ALV
endmodule
"in PAI
module exit.
case sy-ucomm.
when 'ENT1'.
leave to screen 0.
endcase.
endmodule
while preparing the field catalog you can mention the EMPHASIZE field, whish will give color to tht column
E.g
*--Service Order
ls_fieldcat-tabname = 'IT_FINAL_VALID'.
ls_fieldcat-fieldname = 'AUFNR'.
ls_fieldcat-scrtext_m = 'Service Order'.
ls_fieldcat-ref_table = 'AUFK'.
ls_fieldcat-ref_field = 'AUFNR'.
ls_fieldcat-col_pos = 1.
ls_fieldcat-outputlen = 12.
ls_fieldcat-emphasize = 'C400'. "This will add color to the cell
APPEND ls_fieldcat TO fcat_valid.
Hope this helps. -
OK I think that is resolved but I cannot pull the Data.
The Grid does not populate with data......Just keeps trying to pull it.

Why are keywords not being shown in the Browser Grid View
Hi,
All the tutorials and manuals seem to have screenshots showing the browser grid view images with keywords at the bottom of the image. Now matter what i try i cannot get them to show up. Here are some of the things I've tried/observed.
- in the split view and viewer views the keywords show up as expected
- used the "browser metadata overlays" option (bottom right) to switch the browser between "show metadata" and "switch to basic view"
- used the "browser metadata overlays" edit option to confirm that both basic and standard overlays/views are configured to show keywords (ie. keyword is in the list on the right)
- i can see labels (red, green etc) in the browser grid view
- quit, deleted all my library preferences, restarted aperture
Are you seeing keywords in the browser view? Any ideas what i'm doing wrong?
Also note I imported my library from iPhoto.
Cheers
OliverHi i dont have primary checked heres what ive done
Hi thank youve tried editing all the basic and extended metadata options and so far i have managed to get the key words to show up on one photo at a time with a colour label.
To do this i have to go to the metadata tab on the left add a custom field to the general tab called it keywords to keep things simple lol.
This is the only way of getting my keyword to appear below the photo
However when i try and tag all the photos in the project with the same keyword and label it only tags the last one in the project ive held down cmd /option /ctrl nothing / some of these just tag one random picture with the metadata
i thank you guys in advance for your help

Hi. I have Lightroom 4.4. and Windows 7--both of which have been working fine for several months. Starting a few days ago, however, thumbnails have refused to load for any NEW photos I import. They appear gray/blank in both Grid view and the film strip. However, if you click on any of the film strip thumbnails (while in either Grid view or Develop mode), that thumbnail and corresponding image WILL load--until up to three have done so. Then they begin disappearing again, allowing you to view no more than three images' thumbnails at any one time.
I can't review a shoot via Grid mode this way. I'm also afraid to use Lightroom while it's misbehaving, for fear of corrupting the catalog somehow (though all the images appear to be there). Searching this forum, I found several people who experienced having all of their thumbnails blank out and who were able to correct this by either reinstalling or removing their color profiling software. However, 1) I did this (and it didn't work), and 2) it isn't that all my thumbnails that have disappeared. All the thumbnails and images imported prior to the bug, still initially display correctly.* And I can get three thumbnails of the newer images to appear at a time.
*The asterisk is because after I poked around some more, I realized that if I opened other folders and began post-processing images from older uploads (vs. just viewing them), the thumbnails that initially displayed correctly everywhere also blank out and begin appearing in this up-to-three-at-a-time fashion.
Help, please?
With many thanks,
RitaAlas, it didn't work. I did it twice--the second time rebooting the computer before starting Lightroom. I didn't expect the reboot to make a difference, but I did discover something else in the process: the second time I tried this, I accidentally opened a different catalog--and new photos imported just FINE into that one, thumbnails and all! For one moment I thought the reboot HAD made the difference. However, when I reopened the catalog I actually wanted, the original problem remained. Thumbnails don't load with import, and, when forced, only display up to three at a time.
So the problem seems specific to this catalog.
And yes--thank you for affirming that reinstalling Lightroom wouldn't work, either. (I forgot to mention that's what I had tried first. It didn't help--but it's nice to know it wasn't supposed to.)
Thank you so much for your reply. Do you have any other ideas, please?
With many thanks, truly,

How do I change the transparency grid to gray in Camera Raw 8.7.1?
I am using Scott Kelby's The Adobe Photoshop CS6 Book for Digital Photographers. He has a tutorial on Lens Correction in Camera Raw where he uses vertical tilt to correct perspective on an image taken with a 10 mm lens (Chapter 3, page 69 if that matters to anyone). The correction is extreme and after correcting, the areas where the transparency grid would show are gray in his image. On my copy of Camera Raw 8.7.1, I get the familiar checkered transparency grid (I am using the same image supplied from the books web site. He continues on with a Free Transform and Content-Aware correction to eliminate the "gray" area without explaining how the transparency section in his image got to be gray. Doing a selection on the transparency to complete the Content-Aware is not possible as described in his book. Is something I am missing with PS CC 2014? I have asked four other photographers using CS6 and CC. Two report they have the checkered grid and one has a gray area and yet another has a white area. How can I get the gray area as described in the book?
In case you are accessing this discussion by email, please be aware that I edited my last post:
In have sent a query to the Kelby web site asking for an explanation.
Great, I was going to suggest that right off the bat in my first post, but refrained from that so as not to be accused of being condescending.
I always get a gray grid for transparency in ACR, no matter what, never a solid-color gray or solid any-other color.
To be honest, I can't fathom why you would care that you get the same result.
Totally off topic: I can't stand Kelby. :-/ -
Can we show / hide the minor grid in a graph programatically?
I know how to do it statically and I know how to show / hide the major grid programatically. I am using labview 6.0.
thanksthierry_d,
This feature is not available in LabVIEW 6.0.x, but there is a minor grid color property in LabVIEW 6.1. If you really need this property, then I would suggest upgrading to LabVIEW 6.1.

How to increase the alv grid size dynamically
Hi all,
I have to develop the report with the following requirement:
I have to take bwkey from t001k on basis of bukrs and bwkey. this bukrs and bwkey are entered in selection-screen.
I have to select matnr, lbkum, salk3 from mbew on basis of bwkey in selection-screen.(this is select options)
now the ouput should be as follows:
for example :
ef01 efo2 ef03
matnr lbkum salk3 lbkum salk3 lbkum salk3 total
700001 3 4 0 0 0 0 7
700010 0 0 2 1 0 0 3
The output should be as mentioned above.
In the above output,
in the first record for 700001, the total of 3 and 4 is displayed as total 7 and
for 700010 , it is displayed as 3.
the get the output as above in the alv grid,
I have taken bwkeys in t001k and remaining fields from mbew and joined them in final internal table.
now in the final table ifinal, i have the following fields,
matnr lbkum salk3 bwkey total.
now when i want to display the output, it is displaying as normal output like
mantr bwkey lbkum salk3 total
700001 etap 3 4 7
700002 etap 1 2 3
but i want to display in the first mentioned format.
so i tried to attach the bwkey values in it001k(this is internal table for t001k) for the final field catalog so that this bwkeys are displayed as column headings in the final output. but it is not displaying.
Please suggest me the solution to display the output in the above first mentioned
format as soon as possible
points will be awarded.
thanking u in advance.
