I've recently discovered that life can be a bit more difficult with poor credit and have decided to try to make it better. I've taken some steps towards rebuilding, but I'm not sure if I made it worse or not since I havnt seen much improvement lately. Here's what I have currently as to the best of my knowledge. I'd get cashback on it as well, but I'm not sure thats a good move... is my credit report too bare? what can I do? Thank you for any suggestions in advance.
You need to pay off some of the cards you recently opened as balances on many cards does not look good. Lots of new cards in a short time period does look bad but with time you can correct this error and I believe this is common amongst rebuilders. Do not close any for the time being as you allow them to mature and report timely payments. Use your ability to pull your free annual credit reports to identify the fall off dates for your collections items. Attempt to negotiate PFD's. If you have already used these free pulls, you should be able to pull files on each CBR based on recent inquiries for new accounts. I bought a car in Feb 15 with a 565 mid score (I would have waited but I blew a head gasket on my 1999 Honda). As you can guess, my interest was horrible. In May, I was able to re-fi to 5%: not great but a vast improvement compared to February. You're on the right track and understand your errors. You'll be in good shape soon!

Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

I've been having issues with updating my iPod. I've been trying to manually update my iPod however everytime I attempt to it tells me I have to restore my iPod. I've synced it to my laptop and haven't tried to sync it to anyone else's. Any suggestions?
There is a free program called Senuti that will take the music from iPod and put it back on the computer/iTunes. Macworld gives it 4.5 out of 5 mice. I have not yet needed something like this, but give it a shot. I do believe this will only work with Apple computers though. Just thought I would add it to this thread instead of starting a new one

I needed to Download J2SE SDK for my programming class. The problem I am having is I have downloaded and installed but now it wont let me set a class path. From my Professor:
"It sets the class path.
TO SET THE PATH:
Open Search and type �java.exe�. You should get something like C:/jdk�./bin
Copy that exact location."
The problem I have is when I do the search it doesn't find the C:/jdk file, but I can see it on my hard drive. When I try to use the cmd prompt, it tells me it is not an internal or external command.........it wont allow me to get to the java prompt.
Any help would be appreciated as I now have a 0 for my class but she will allow me a grade if I can get the program to work, just take off for it being late.Just try typing javac, nothing else. Does it find the command? You did it right. Does it fail to find the command? You did it wrong.
Also, for us to know what mistakes may have occurred, please type the command path in your CMD window. It will give you output. Copy and paste that output here.
Mine says something like (reduced for clarity):
PATH=C:\WINDOWS\system32;C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\System32\Wbem;C:\Program Files\ATI Technologies\ATI Control Panel;C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0\bin
Notice that my java bin path is in the PATH environment variable?

So here is a simple question
I like to read through all the discussions on a topic
for example the topic group= Yosemite
when i get to the bottom of the page I hit the option "more" and a bunch more discussions load.
so I click on one that interest me. I than want to go back to the list to where I left off
so I hit the back button on the browser and it takes me back to the first page and I have to hit "more" to get back to where i was.
This wasn't a problem when pages on the discussion actually had a number
does anyone out there know of an easier way?Can you please post this thread to the Flash General

I know that I could just burn all of my music onto a disk and then put it back onto my new computer, but I was hoping there was an easier way.
Use your computer's backup to transfer your iTunes library from your old computer to your new computer per the instructions included with this link, or do the same with both computers networked in some fashion, which shouldn't be hard to do if both computers are connected to the same wireless network.

Everytime I try to send out a pdf file, on the receiving end it shows they cannot open it or it shows corrupted. I send to large companies so I know it is not on their end. I can receive them fine. Don't know if this could be an adobe issue or a Norton's issue. Any ideas I can check out?

Print>Save as PDF - uses Preview (part of OS X), so Adobe Reader should have no effect on that at all.
As to the "damaged file" error, simply uninstalling the Reader app won't affect it. Do the following:

Trash the AdobePDFViewer.plugin and AdobePDFViewerNPAPI.plugin files
Mac HD/Applications
Trash the Adobe Reader app

Mac HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe
Trash the Reader folder (the whole folder)
Empty the Trash.

Quit your browser and reinstall Reader.
Launch it from the Applications folder and accept the license agreement.
You should have no problems downloading PDFs with Safari.
Unfortunately, ANY PDF that says it's damaged.... is. You'll have to trash them. -
is there any rule that an app downloded from my old apple id cannto be updated by my new apple id?
Since you say you are a "new user", please explain how and why you have an iCloud password, security questions, and an email id that you cannot remember. How could this happen?

I cloud worked fine for a while on the latest version of windows then threw up an error since then I can longer get the programme to run . I've reinstalled itunes but this doesnt help any ideas
It maybe worthwhile trying to uninstall and then reinstall the icloud control panel, if the issue is with your outlook.

I am setting up a new iMac and need help syncing files to Dropbox. On my old computer I had it set where when I saved a document, it was saved on my hard drive, as well as to a folder in Dropbox. I can't remember how I set this up. Any help?
The way that Dropbox works is that it keeps a copy of all your files in your local Dropbox folder on your hard drive (which is, by default, directly under your home folder). Adding files to that folder will sync them to the Dropbox server.
You do of course have to download the Dropbox application to enable this (download link at the top right of http://dropbox.com ).

So, after a few months of testing, capture and sending logs back and forth to Apple Engineers, we found out there is a setting in AD, under User Account that prevent us to log into AD from Mountain Lion. If you would go to your AD server, open up a user account properties, then go to Account tab, the "Do not require Kerberos preauthentication" option is checked. As soon as I uncheck that option, immediately I was able to log into AD on the Mac client. Apple engineers copied all my AD settings and setup a test environment on their end and match exact mine AD environment. They was able to reproduce this issue.
The bad part about this is... our environment required the "Do not require Kerberos preauthentication" is checked in AD, in order for our users to login into some of our Unix and Linux services. Which mean that it is impossible for us to remove that check mark because most, if not all of them some way or another require to login into applications that run on Unix and Linux. Apple is working to see if they can come up with a fix. Apparently, no one has report this issue except us. I believe most of you out there don't have that check mark checked in your environment... Anyone out there have any suggestion to by pass or have a work around for this?
