I'm German, so my english writing might not be perfect
I had the same Issue on a 5 i bought. Exact same screen and writing. Battery was totally drawn, first thing I had to replace. The screen had been replaced and since then it wouldn't work anymore according to the previous owner.
It took me a couple hours, after recieving a few errors like 4013 it just never completed the restore, got really hot as well. The Flexwire of the Dock Connector seemed damaged, replaced the dock, but that didn't help.
I almost gave up, thought the Logic Board was bad.
BUT! Then i deceided to check if it has anything to do with the Screen assembly, and it did.
Long story short, on mine the front facing camera, and sensor assy were bad.
Anyhow, the phone works ''perfect'' when i leave them unplugged. So I just ordered a new one and we will see if thats the problem or if the damage is in the Logic Board.
If so, i can live without the sensor and front cam.
Just wanted to share, good luck everyone.

As you can't see anything probably not .You could try a reset but likely you have damaged the screen internals

I was using my iphone less then 5 min earlyer full charge in it and its in a protective case. I put it in my pocket and when i took it out it seems the iphone is dead and wont respond to anything!

I was trying to get the iOS 8.2 on my iPhone 5 but then it stopped and my phone is now on recovery mode I have pictures I need and they did not all fit on iCloud how can I use the phone again with ALL my pictures and videos without restoring it?
Contacts are designed to be synced to a supported application on the computer or a cloud service.
Pictures taken with the device are designed to regularly be copied off the device to a computer as would be done with any digital camera.
If you have failed to use the device as designed it may be too late to recovery anything.
Is the device regularly backed up to a computer via iTunes? If so, the most recent backup (when restored to a replacement iOS device) should contain all contacts and pictures as of when the backup was created. -
My hard drive crashed. I was using my iphone as a backup for my photos.I got a new harddrive and am now trying to sync with my new hard drive but it says that to sync my data will be wiped out. I have no other backup of those pictures. How do I sync my new hard drive?
The iPhone is not designed or intended to be used as a backup storage device.
The transfer process of photos from your computer is a one way transfer process only.
Photos transferred from your computer via the iTunes sync/transfer process are optmiized for viewing on your iPhone as part of the iTunes transfer process - the orginal resolution of these photos is reduced on your iPhone. This is why transferring these photos in the opposite direction is not supported. These photos and all other photos stored on your computer's hard drive should be included with your computer's backup along with all other important data.
There are some 3rd party paid utilities that provide for transferring such data in the opposite direction, but the original resolution of these photos will be lost.

Sounds like you'll have to take it in to the Apple store for service. This happened to my wife's iPhone and they just replaced it.

Try placing the iPodin recovery mode and then try to restore the iPod via iTunes on your computer. For recovery mode see:

Next would be to make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since you likely have a hardware problem. -
I was using Lightroom v5.6 when a notice came up to update to v5.7. So I did the download but it would not work or install. And the 5.6 version will not work now either. So I am screwed - no 5.6 or 5.7 and no access to Adobe Tech. Any help will be appreciated.

I've always used my firewire cable to update my iPod. I've tried using USB in the past but for some reason it always says that my iPod has low battery and won't let me update it, so I just use firewire. Can I not use firewire with itunes 7?

Does it, instead of powering up, show a little battery icon almost empty and a plug icon next to it? In that case it needs recharging to have enough power to start up again. Even if it doesn't, try connecting it to a power source and see what happens. If it doesn't respond there you may need to bring it in for repair.

Today I imported quite a lot of Audio CDs. When I wanted to listen to them I realised that most of them aren't in my library. And they did not appear in the recently added list either. I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.
