Went from FP to Dreamweaver CS6

Question

My new computer came with Windows 8.1 and Front Page is not compatible.  So I bought Dreamweaver CS6 and re-created my entire website using DM thinking that the changes I made with DW would override my old website.  I named each page I created in DW exactly how I named the pages in my old website of FP.  I did not.  If I type in the  name of my website and select it, my newly, re-created website appears along with all of its 70 pages.  However, if I type in the name of a page from my website and then select that, my old website appears and from there, any page I choose, is the old website. Is there a way I can get rid of my website created by FP?  I cannot install FP software to delete from FP.

Your web hosting provider should know exactly what your FTP log-in credentials are a lot better than I do because these vary by host and account holder. My example should be used a generic example only.
The point I'm making is that your site files must be uploaded to your server's Root Directory which is evidently www/yourSiteName.
That said, what files does your remote server contain?  You'll find this in your DW Files Panel (F8) under Remote Server (drop-down list) or in the EXPANDED Files Panel (see screenshot).
