Went to 4.5 and now Bluetooth does not pair with anything.

I have already checked every setting I can think of, my phone is discoverable; I've tried with and without encryption; I've tried to connect to other phones; I have had the other phones try to pair with me...
When my husband's phone tries to pair with mine I get this message: Service not supported by other device. Same with my mom's phone and my dad's phone. All different brands, Nokia, Motorola, etc.
I have an LG HBM-770 Hands free device and it connects perfectly.
I am at wit's end...and I know it's probably something I'm doing wrong. HELP.

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
There is a few things to check to see if the Bluetooth is working properly.
1. Go to Options on the BlackBerry, and open Bluetooth.
2. Press the menu key and select Options.
3. Scroll down and are ALL of the Bluetooth services check-marked?
4. Next go back into the main Options of the BlackBerry.
5. Go into Security Options and then General Settings.
6. Is there anything that states an IT Policy Name?
You can always perform a reset to factory to make sure nothing security related is affecting the Bluetooth connectivity.

There is nothing to solve. Pairin with another phone is not a supported BlueTooth protocol. The exception being pairing for some multi-player games.

E71 bluetooth does not pair with my car bluetooth

my old Nokia phone paired with my car , however having just upgraded my phone to an E71 it will not pair, does anyone know how to resolve this - thanks

To set automatic bluetooth connections go to MENU - CONNECTIVITY - BLUETOOTH, at the top of the scree you will see the word Bluetooth then abluetooth icon and spanner; curser to the right to the next twin bluetooth icon where it will show all the paired devices. If there are none listed go to the options soft-key and select "New paired device". If you have previously paired a device select it, if not search for devices then connect. Choose "authorise device" to connect automatically in future. Having said all that, and done all those things, my E71 still wont connect to authorised devices!! It must be a software problem with the E71 because my N96 and X6 have all worked perfectly automatically with the same devices the E71 won't!! Come on Nokia give us a software update to fix this problem; PLEASE.

While it appears that the Mac is discoverable, since it is not seeing the speakers, you may need to check the documentation that came with the speakers to see if they are in discovery/pairing mode, and how to get them into that mode. Then try and pair them.

I installed a new bigger hard drive and now spotlight does not work with outlook to search for emails

My old hard drive was full so I went to an apple authorized provider to install a new bigger hard drive. They also moved the data and applications from my old drive to the new one. They did not use time capsule because their way was faster. After the installation I did have to reenter the product code key for Office 2011 for the Mac. However, now I find that I cannot do email spotlight searches in Outlook. When I put in the search - it comes up with no results. This is true no matter what the search. Any ideas of how to point spotlight to look in the email folders so I can do searches again. This is a feature I use daily - so I am concerned that I have lost this feature. Also, I am noticing that alot of the settings did not carry over to the new hard drive. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I would recommend starting over and migrate using your Time Capsule backup however DO NOT do it wirelessly, connect using an Ethernet Connection. If you upgraded to Lion from Snow Leopard then follow the instructions in this video, the kid is annoying but he knows what he's doing. Clean Install Of Snow Leopard video. Once you have installed and updated Snow Leopard then update using the 10.6.8 Update Combo, then log into the Mac App Store and re-install Lion and all it's updates. My guess this is an afternoons work.

When updating the iOS, you have to pair your phone again to the Jabra. You just have to enable discovery mode on the Jabra and go to settings on iphone

I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes 3 times, but still cannot fix the problem. I have followed the suggested fixes in Apple Support. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Check your settings. The iPads have a small switch on the right edge. It can be used as a rotation lock to keep the screen from automatically reorienting itself as you move around, but you need to have the tablet’s settings configured properly. That same switch, right above the volume buttons, can also be set to function instead as a mute button to silence certain types of audio.
If the switch is set to work as a mute button, you can change its purpose to “screen-rotation lock” by tapping the Settings icon on the home screen. On the Settings screen, tap General on the left side, and on the right side of the screen flick down to “Use Side Switch to.” Tap to select Lock Rotation or Mute to set the button’s function. Even if you set the side switch for your preferred use, you can still mute the Mini or lock the screen. Just double-click the Home button, and when the panel of apps appears along the bottom edge of the screen, flick the row from left to right with your finger. Tap the icon on the far left side of the row to either lock the iPad’s screen or mute the iPad’s alerts, notifications and sound effects. Music, podcasts and video are not muted unless you turn the volume all the way down.

Hey, we are having exactly the same problem! My old ipod died a slow death so I bought a new nano 16gb 4th gen and I can't use it as itunes isn't recognising any ipod being plugged into it. I've been through the whole support database and every USB port is working on the laptop, so I know the computer is recognising its there its just itunes itself - even removed and downloaded it again but no change!
