I've been trying to download adobe flash cs5 trial version but it dosn't say download, i read on an all it says is download adobe download assistant but i still cannot find it!

When I follow the instructions to downlaod Photoshop Elements 11(I paid a pretty price for this program so why can I get a disk to install it)
it tells me that another program is installing and to wait until it finishes and try the Adobe Download Assistant

still will not download so I guess I have paid $65.00 for nothing. I am not a happy camper right now. If I can't get this to download in the next couple of days then I will cancel. I have followed the instructions that were sent to me and done everything I could and now the elements 11 doesn't even show up under free trials. It keeps telling me there is a copy installing and to finish it first and I have deleted all copies that I thought might be installing and it still gives me the same error and I tried installing direct and that takes me back to the same page and does the same thing.

I can't download the adobe download assistant on my windows PC. I keep getting the error message " "application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged."
I have tried using a differrent browser to no avail.

Windows Vista, Firefox browser. Check download list, right click adobe download assistant, click on properties - in general tab, under security, message says file may be blocked to protect this computer, click on unblock, apply and OK

I tried saving it in my downloads folder and my desktop. Whenever I try to run the program AdobeDownloadAssistant, a loading bar appears that says "Installing Adobe Download Assistant. Please wait." and the bar never moves and it stays like that indefinitely. I am running windows 7 64bit. I'm not sure why it's already been downloaded, but won't execute beyond this point.

Heyy,
I was downloading the free trial of Adobe Photosho CS6 and I clicked "Download Now" to get Adobe Download Assistant.
Abdobe Download Assistant shows up in my downloads folder but I can't open it, no matter how many times I click on it.
On the website, it says it would open immediately but it didn't.
My laptop is Windows Vista.
Is there another way to open this file?

Thanks Jeff! So, it totally appears as if it was a network issue. The corporate network where I work is quite likely the culprit. Where I was thrown off is that since I have admin rights on my computer, I can install software. But using Adobe Application Manager to install Adobe software wasn't working. And to make matters worse, there didn't appear to be any way to install Acrobat Pro for Mac without using AAM. The workaround that I used previously was to install the trial versions of Adobe software, and then just register them using my username and password. But the workaround for being able to install everything using AAM was to bring my computer home and download from my home network.

It gets installed automatically when you try to download a product from the Adobe website. When you try to download a trils, for example, follow the on-screen instructions and the ADA will download automatically, and then download the instaler for you.

You need to be more specific. What system? How did you download? anyway, if it takes that long, just stasrt over. Something is wrong. Or use a manual download and extract it with a packer tool like WinZip or WinRar.

Connection problem with adobe download assistant

I'm using windows 7 and I try to install the trial version of the Master Collection cs6.
I have download Adobe Download Assistant (multiple times) but every time I try to connect myself with my Adobe ID, it doesn't work. I can click on Connection, the action is registered by the software but nothing happen. I also can't close the software with the simple click on close, I have to use the task manager (CTRL+ALT+SUPPR).
I have already unistall my cs5 version using all the help I could find on the website (cleaner tool..).
Can you help me ?
