Westell Model 7500, does it have wireless capability?

I recently got Verizon High Speed DSL which came with the Westell Model 7500 DSL Modem/ Router. I am using a wired connection, but I noticed there is a flashing Wireless light on the top of the modem.
Does this modem have wireless capabiltiy on it's own? I tried to use my laptop to discover a connection and was unable to.
If so, how does one password protect this connection? I do not want my neighbors stealing my bandwidth. I would also like to be able to use the wireless functionality if this modem is indeed wireless capable.

Yes, it appears to have wireless.
#1 Log-in to the modem combo.
#2 Go look for Wirelesss Settings.
#3 As need be, show a screen shot from the router's screen(s).

Cool. Having a charger handy always a good thing with an iPod 5. Have seen some issues with different brands of radios, some OME and some aftermarket. Audi, VW and Pioneer seem to come up most often with not wanting to work with iOS 7. You may need to update the interface or look in the app store for a patch, otherwise you should be good to go! And FYI-- As for battery drain I use Bluetooth with a BOSE Soundlink Mini, cuts my use time down roughly 1 to 2 hours less than if I don't use Bluetooth. Good luck, Cheers.

EA2700 - Your Computer does not have Networking Capability?!

I'm kind of a novice when it comes to networking and computer. I receently purchased a EA2700 for the house. I've managed to plug everything in the proper locations, got everything going and internet working on my PC with a wired connection. Everything was going smoothly until i put the setup CD in to setup the router. I ran setup and at the loading bar (0%) an error came up saying that "Your Computer Does Not Have Networking Capability". I'm using Nvidia nForce that came with the motherboard (to my knowledge at least). I can go on websites and also get to 192.168.1.1 BUT I just can't seem to get pass that networking capability error. I've also tried to update the Nvidia nForce driver but doing that caused my internet to not work at all. So I just rolled back to the previous driver which could get me online at least.
If anyone has any idea how I can fix this, please let me know cause I'm out of ideas and not quite sure what I need to do at this point. Thank you very much in advance.

New laptop does not have cd capability, how do I install acrobat 7.0

My new laptop does not have cd capability for me to insert install disc, how do I install acrobat 7 with just a serial number ?

The "activation server" at Adobe, which let you install and use it, was turned off years ago. You cannot use your CD in any case. (Though in fact external plug-in CDs are cheap, easy to use, and pretty much essential).
There is a special download of Acrobat 7 for licensed users (with new serial)... but it won't work on current systems. Unless you have Windows Vista, 32-bit, or older you probably need to buy Acrobat again. (No upgrades any more, sad to say).

Portege R700-15Q - does it have 3G capability

I have recently got a R700-15Q.
When running the customary updates Toshiba have recommened several 3G drivers and software updates but one won't install and the others don't recognise a 3G device.
I can not seem to find anything that says this notebook has 3G capabilities but why would Toshiba recommend these updates?
If the notebook doesn't come with 3G hardware - is it possible to install it?

This notebook model does not support Bluetooth and does not support 3G module
Its support just WLan.
The point is that there are different R700 on the market with different hardware components and configurations but one image.
Therefore you can receive such update notifications.

When bootcamping, MBP(Retina 15") does not have wireless capabilities. What do I do?

I used bootcamp with no problems on my iMac (2008), booting into Windows 7 32bit. However, with my recently purchased MBP Retina the wireless card seems to be missing a driver or something, and will not even show when I go to wireless help on windows 7. I installed the Windows 7 64bit.

After installing Windows you must immediately install the drivers provided by BC prior to installing Win. The operations BC does are: 1. create Windows partition; 2. create drivers to be either burnt unto a CD or copied to a USB flash drive; 3. install windows. When Windows is ready, use the product created in step 2, otherwise you will have a lot of problem running Windows, from resolution, to wireless and bluetooth.

What's the model number of your Lexmark printer?

I have purchased a Imac G5 20" Computer. I does not have wireless, so I purchased and airport card to install. after opening the computer, there is no metal stand to install the card. i ordered a stand on Ebay. Do I need to buy an antenna too?

Yes, you will need an antenna as well. You will probably want to add more memory, you can have up to 2GB (an iSight can take 2.5GB), and depending on the size of the drive, you might want to put a bigger one in as well.

What's "Rogers?" Try resetting your iPod's network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. Also, are you connected to a strong Wi-fi signal?

Your iMac does have wireless capability. It does need, however, some wireless network in order to connect to the Internet. It sounds like there are several networks in your area, including one Belkin router that is not encrypted and several other networks that are. I presume that you would know if the Belkin one is yours, and you would have mentioned it. Do not use someone else's network without their permission. In some jurisdictions it is illegal, in others it is merely foolish.
It is impossible to know what Xfinity has given you. Possibly it is only a cable modem, or perhaps it has a router built in. Call them and ask them. If it has a router built in, get them to help you set it up. Note that some tech support people for Internet service providers will resist working with Macs. Be persistent, it is not that different.
If they did not provide a router, you will need to get one. Apple makes the AirPort Extreme base station, the AirPort Express base station and the Time Capsule. Other companies have their own. Be sure you get one that is up to date and has 802.11n capabilities (for the highest speed) and go on from there.

WRT54G Hooked to a Westell Model 6100.

Yes, I did see the recent posted reguarding this issue. I still don't understand or get my connection working. I have a WRT54G WIreless-G router with 2 computers in the house. I have DSL (Verizon). The modem is a Westell Model 6100. I have EVERYTHING set up right, but I'm not getting a connection... or, the computer says it's connecting (sends traffic) but a bubble shows up saying I have no or limited connection. Can someone help me? Thanks.

1)disconnect the modem from the router
2)access the router web ui using http://192.168.1.1 .. the default password is admin
3)change the local ip add to 192.168.2.1
4)save the settings and power cycle the router
5)connect the modem to the router
6)access the router again using http://192.168.2.1
7)click on the "status" tab and check the internet ip add
8)if 0.0.0.0 , go to "setup" tab , click on "MAC Add Clone" subtab , enable it , click clone...save the settings .. power cycle the network
9)if the internet ip add is still 0.0.0.0 , go to the "setup" tab , change the internet connection type to PPPoE .. enter the username and password provided by the ISP...save the settings
10)click on the "status" tab and ensure that the "Login Status" is connected

How can I connect Apple tv to a digital projector that does not have an HDMI connection?

I work in an elementary school library where we have 6 macs and 11 iPads. I want to be able to share the output of each of these machines with Apple TV on a digital projector which does not have HDMI capability. How can I do this? I had been using an app called Refector with limited success.

Adding wireless capability to HP Laserjet Pro M1536DNF

I presently have an Hp Laserjet 3052 to which I do not believe I can add wireless capability.
I am considering a Laserjet M1535DNF. The spec sheet says that wireless can be added by using a separate
accessory. Is this a reasonable purchase if I must have wireless capability?

I figured it out. I bought this printer specifically because the Apple web site said it was compatible to print with the iPad. Well, it is if you connect it by ethernet to a router that is connected to a wireless router. That's the only way you'll get it to print with AirPrint. After hours of mucking around, I finally got it to work and the ONLY way is what I've described, at least right now. And the wireless router must be on the same network as the one accessed by your iPad. It is great to be able to print from the iPad. Good luck. Sudsbrew
