WF Template not visible

Hi All,
Template is not visible in PFTC and SWDD when I entered template in PFTC and SWDD.
After entering wf template in field of SWDD and clicking enter template is not displayed.
Also when i enter digits of template and select wf template in PFTC template not displayed.
WF is WF00800042.

If you try to display a task or workflow in PFTC, you need to remove the prefix (for example WS).
For example in your case in PFTC select workflow template and enter 00800042. (I am not sure either if this workflow exists in any system - where did you find out that this WF should exist)?

The data is now being transferred to production server, hence the problem is that the Appraisal template what we created is not visible in front end.

We have created the App template. Tough we have done all settings in SPRO in prod server, when checking it in Easy Acess it is saying that "Template does not existes" (i.e tcode APPCREATE)
We checked in Dev & Quality, there it is running properly. We even checked all parameters required for Per devp module.
Hence could you help me regarding this??

Web template not visible and editable by others

Hi Guru,
I have a problem of sharing a web templated with others . In the WAD, I created a web template and saved the template. By default, it is saved in the favorite folder. However, it is not accessable or visible by another developer who needs to continue the development on this template. I have asked our SAP BW security person and she tried a few things and it didn't work. Can someone share the insights of what we should do to allow a web template created by one person to be edited by another person? Thanks in advance.

Hi,
If you provide the other person with the name of the template, he should be able to modify it. Instead of searching when opening, enter the exact name.

Document templates not visible in Complaints transaction

Dear CRM gurus,
CRM 5.0
I created an MS word document template using tcode CRM_KW_TEMPL in CRM 5.0 for the business object type BUS2000120 which is a complaint. However, after saving the template when I go into CRMD_ORDER for creating a complaints transaction type & try creating a new document based on the template, the name of the template is not shown in the window which opens up for selecting the template.
I have done the background config for setting up the document template profile, folder template & assigning these to the transaction type header. Can someone please let me know what could I be missing?

Please confirm if you see URL as http:localhost:99/_layouts/images. or http//:localhost:99/_layouts/images.
Is it same behavior on all sites or just 1 site
What do we see in Fiddler traces
Did you made any changes in DOCICON.XML
or some where else

List Template not visible

Hi,
I have two sites A and B.
I save a list as template in site A and then import it in site B. I can create a new app using that template.
I save another list as template in site A and then import it in site B successfully. But this one I don't see in the app lists.
Is there a limit on number of templates that can be migrated ? If not, kindly clarify.

AD RMS 2012 Templates/Permissions [Option] is not visible at Outlook 2013 in Nokia Windows 8 Mobile Device

I have AD RMS 2012 Server, its working fine by applying restricted Templates/Permissions on OWA, Outlook & other MS Office Tools (Word Excel, PowerPoint). But the AD RMS Templates/Permissions [Option] is not visible at Outlook 2013 in Nokia Windows
8 Mobile Device.
Actually I would like to protect email with RMS templates (defined by me on AD RMS 2012 Server) but the [Permission] tab is not visible at Outlook 2013 in Nokia Windows 8 Mobile Device.
But I can do same with Android OS in Samsung Galaxy Mobile Device & I can see [Permission] tab as well to protect an email messages.
Any idea??

Currently, you can't use WP 8 to protect docs/emails with ADRMS templates. YOu can however use transport rules on Exchange server side to configure automatic ADRMS protection.

Open window is not visible!!

Hello Experts,
We are using BPC 7.5 M sp04, SQL Server 2008, Office 2007.
On one of our client laptops having Windows7 and Office 2007 is having the problem (emerged few days ago) that certain dialog (pop-up) windows appear only in the Windows' taskbar but the window itself is not visible. The main Excel session window switches to waiting (non-responsive) mode until the open window is closed using right-click menu at the taskbar.
This applies to the following commands: eTools->Open Dynamic Template, eTools->Save [Dynamic Template] As, eSubmit->Open Schedule Library, eAnalyze -> Open Report Library.
What could be causing this issue. Please Advice.

Hi Rohit,
I don't think it's a BPC issue maybe for some reason the pop-up are out of screen, if so right-click on the taskbar icon, click on move you will see the pointer that change with the for arrows then use one of the arrows key on the keyboard and you should see automatically the pop-up.

Button not visible in ess or mss appraisal portal.

i have implimented custome BADI implimentation for standard BADI " HRHAP00_ADD_HEADER " for my appraisal template for ess and mss. it is showing one additional data button in header section of the template. when i see this template in R/3 system in dev cleint or any cleint in server it is showing the additional data button. but when i go to web browser to open appraisal portal for ess or mss adn check the button is not visible there. please help. if it showing the additional buton in R/3 system adn standard BADI is implimented then it must show it in portal in web browser also. portal is built in web dynpro abap standard only.

I guess HRHAP00_ADD_HEADER badi is for only backend changes

Agent Assinment is not visible in another client

I assigned some agents (Users) for one customized standard task in my golden client(200). But its not visible in Testing client (220). Did i missed something? I changed attrbutes to standard task. I made client copy also.. I searched in forum..i could not found relevant information..

Try to use the RE_RHMOVE30 by using this transaction you can port the agent assignment to the other system.
try like this
1. Execute the TXn.
2. Specify the Plan version as 01.
3. Specify the Object ID as TS.
4. Sepcify the Object key as <8 digit template number>.
5. uncheck the check boxes Test and with Lock under the section transport on the selection-screen.
5. Enable the checkbox Transport and clcik F8.
6. select the entry and click on the button Transport. Now again select the same entry and check the check box transport and this time click on the button Tranpost and Delete this time it will ask you for CUstomizing request. save it. and do a client copy .
this time all teh agent assignments are copied to the other system.

Default Web Application is not visible in Weblogic Console

We are using Weblogic 5.1.0 SP7
          We moved our Application from the Implicitly Defined Default Web
          Application which is configurated by the
          weblogic properties to a Web Application. Because we don't want to
          change any URL in our Application, we
          decided to deploy it as Explicitly Defined Default Web Application.
          By this we recordniced that the weblogic.httpd.defaultWebApp property
          worked not that way descibed in the
          Weblogic Documentation. You have to write the path to the WebApp not the
          name!
          So we have the following Entry in the weblogic.properties:
          weblogic.httpd.defaultWebApp=i:/if_home2/web
          This works fine. The Server starts and serves the WebApp the way we
          expected. But wenn we start the Weblogic
          Console the WebApp ist not visible in the "myserver/HTTP/Servlet web
          applications" folder. This one is empty
          now! Previously the "General" Entry for the Implicitly Defined Default
          Web Application was shown here, which
          showed our Servlets and JSP's and their hit count and parameters.
          So there is no chance to monitor the Servlets and JSP's of the default
          Web Application.
          I tried to deploy our WebApp a secound time with
          weblogic.httpd.webApp.OurApp=i:/if_home2/web
          but this create a second independent WebApp. OurApp is shown in the
          Weblogic Console but it does not monitor
          the hits to the default WebApp. So this is not a solution!
          Any idea to make the default Web Application visible in the Weblogic
          Console?


in my development environment i checked in site collection feature, it isn't available in site collection feature but still i am getting those web parts in web part gallery while adding it on page.
Also, in Production environment, feature is available in /templates/features folder after deployment, but not available in web part gallery while adding it on page.
I tried with uploading .webpart file which is available in /templates/features production environment as i mentioned, is running for one web part. Not for second web part and giving me security error.
As, uploading .webpart file is not feasible solution, please tell me how could i do that with .wsp file?
please tell me what could be another workaround.

I would recommend to look very closely and the way the default role is defined in the client 000 Homepage Framework and use this structure and defintions as a guide for implementing your custom role
In particular the Bank service must be linked to a resource which must point to the required location in the PCD

SP 2010 Publishing - Rollup and Page Images not visible when entering page edit mode

Hello, I have an odd issue recently appearing after installation of FEB 2013 CU install. When users select to Edit a Publishing Page the Rollup Image and also Page Image(Article Page Layout) are not visible. Only the "Click here to insert Image from
SharePoint" link is visible.
The issue has be confirmed in 5 servers across two farms
DEV, QA, and PROD on client recently updated
DEV and PROD in a completely separate client farm
I have confirmed the issue does not exist in two separate farms running April 2012 CU. In both of those environments the image appears with issue even in Edit page mode.
In the farms where the issue exists you can click the insert image link and simply hit OK to see the image again. An easy enough work around for tech savvy but my client's content admins are very confused/frustrated by.
Is this a bug? I have confirmed in two separate farms including brand new web applications using out of the box publishing site templates.

We have been facing the same issue in a 2013-environment (SP1), but in this case an upgraded 2010 Solution, which still runs in 2010-mode. Because of this, SharePoint still use resource-files in the 14-hive (as we have not performed an upgrade of Master
Pages etc.) The problem is also reproduced on a clean 2010 Site Collection in the same 2013-environment.
I have managed to find the cause of the problem (at least in our environment), and that is that as long as the selected picture/image has
not defined an "AltText"/"Alternate Text" the problem seems to occur.
In other words, try to define an Alternate Text and click OK in the "Edit Image Properties" Dialog.
I don't know if this may be the case for everyone else, but give it a try.
From this, I've further discovered (after hours of js-debugging) that there is a minor change (from 2010 to 2013) in a js-file called "SelectorControls.js" which is responsible for updating the various controls used in Page Layouts etc.
The problem exist in a method called ASO_UpdateButtonsAndPanels(), which checks whether the Image Control in question has content or not (Url). The local variable "hasContent" is then determined of an if statement, if(this.AssetData.ManageLinkDisplayText)
which in 2010 (14-hive) seems to be "true" regardless whether the Control is of type Image or Hyperlink. Further the code checks for AssetText (Alternate Text) which on an Image may be left empty.
In 2013 (15-hive) however, this if statement has been changed to, if(this.SelectorType==ConstLinkSelectorType), which clearly states "Image" or "Link" depending on the type of control.
I don't know if this is the cause of the problem in 2013, but in 2010 it seems to be exactly that.
Pending a solution from Microsoft, we have modified SelectorControls.js to overcome this issue until the customer decides to do a Visual Upgrade to 2013.
This is by all means not a supported nor a a permanent solution to the problem, as future Hotfixes, Service Pack etc. may "reset" our fix.

Custom attributes added to user objects not visible in OWA address book

Hi,
I am using Exchange 2013 and recently added a new custom attribute in the user object properties using the details template editor to be visible in the GAL The new attribute is correctly getting displayed in the GAL from outlook clients but not visible
in OWA address book. Is there a way to update the display of user objects in OWA address book to include the new custom attribute?

It says, Use the Details Templates Editor to customize the client-side graphical user interface (GUI) presentation of object properties that are accessed by using address lists in Microsoft Outlook.
My understanding is this setting only visible in Outlook.
Please correct me if there is any misunderstanding.

DW8 text not visible in design view

I have imported a site from DWMX(6?) to DW8.
In DWMX everything is visible in design view.
In DW8 the text is NOT visible in design view unless I switch off rendering using CSS (Display Styles Off), but displays fine in a browser.
If I switch off rendering using CSS I can see and edit the text but it is not remotely WYSIWYG
The pages are created from templates and were originally created using DW4 or DW3.

There has to be a simple solution to this but I just cant find it.

It means that your selector "font verdana" is not a legal selector. It says to find all "verdana" tags that are descendents of a font tag. Clearly there is no valid HTML tag called "verdana". If it was your intention to create a rule that would allow you to format text as verdana, or geneva or sans-serif, then that would have to be done with a CLASS selector, e.g.,
.font_verdana { font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; }
Note the leading 'dot' and the underscore - spaces are not allowed in selector names.
