Situation: trying to add a short name in the form of [email protected], when trying to save this error is generated:
Title: Got unexpected error
Message: Error of type eDSSchemaError (-14142) on line 554 of /SourceCache/WorkgroupManager/WorkgroupManager-319/Plugins/UserAccounts/UserBas icPluginView.mm
Result: record cannot be saved.
Question: what is causing this error and how can this be solved?

... I wonder how this would effect the Xserve, all AD users can log into the machines my only problem is in pulling AD groups into OD. The Xserve OD DNS structure is seperate from AD, but I do have the Xserve bound to AD, I have unbound and rebound my macmini before I made the post to see if that would change anything but it did not, I think I will try the Xserve next.
Why is DNS independent? Not that it is related, but maintaining two DNS identities is going to lead to confusion at best and disaster at worst. If the primary domain is AD, you should be using only the AD DNS. In a normal AD promotion all the SRV records get created by default. While it is possible to create the service records for AD on OS X, it is usually not recommended. Too much management. My gut is to track down the absence of the GC service record. If you truly have independent DNS hosted on OS X and that is the primary resolver for the machine (assuming same domain), then try creating the svr record on OS X for the GC. Seems a bit odd but if you are at odds with the Windows admins, this might be your only way of proving that this is the issue.
You mention that users can log into machines. This is from the workstation. Have you tried dscl from the server or the workstation to see if you are able to browse the groups?

While SA complains that it won't work in Standard Configuration, WGM does not. There is some fault in the logic of this for which I don't have an explanation.
If I want to get control on Dock, selection of Home folder, config of Proxy... which I think are basic things, do I really need the advanced mode?
If you wish to have complete control of all client settings, yes. There really is no disadvantage of using an Advanced configuration other than the learning curve.
So if I switch to advanced mode, there is good chance I won't get this error message anymore, right?

WGM error while trying to connect to Active Directory
Hello I'm trying to insert AD groups into OD groups so I can create automounts to a users specific network folder. When attempting to connect to AD from within WGM I get an unexpected error. It states:

I tried googling the whole error and parts of the wording but havent found anything relative. It used to work.
Same error using Macmini 10.6.4 and Xserve 10.6.4, recently the district office did change the way my domain sync's with theirs as I was having syn errors with groups. I have a 2000 domain structure and the D.O. has a 2003 structure. i will be migrating the DC roles over to my 2003 Server this Thanksgiving, but for now I have to deal with what I have.

Error of type Not a known DirStatus - WGM throws error upon user creation
Dear MacWorld,
i run a OS-X 10.5.8 Server as OD-Master, clean install on MacPro, no migration, all updates applied, everything fresh from scratch, but my 2md installation of OS-X-server. All standard checks accomplished (Kerbreros, DNS, LDAP, ... everything fine so far).
Each time i add a user in WGM (run remotely via ARD) i receive the errormessage
"Got unexpected error
Error of type Not a known DirStatus (-1) on line 2112 of /SourceCache/WorkgroupManager/WorkgroupManager-319.2.2/Plugins/UserAccounts/Use rAdvancedPluginView.mm"
Makes me feel uncomfortable, although the resulting accounts look healthy so far. Since this is the last check before the final roll out of my OD in my organization, i'd like to get rid of it now rather then troubleshoot the OD later.
Any hints?

MIRO Error - Balancing field "Profit Center" in line item 001 not filled
Dear Experts,
Recently we upgraded to ECC 6.0 from 4.6C. We implemented new GL functionality.
We have also introduced new Profit Centers and have updated the same in Material Master.
Now, the new Profit Centers are valid from 01.04.2009 till 31.12.9999.
Now my problem is while doing MIRO after 31.03.2009 for old PO's i.e. the PO's which were created before 01.04.2009 the system gives me error "Balancing field "Profit Center" in line item 001 not filled".
This is because for the particular line item it picks the profit center from material master, but the validity of that (NEW) profit center is from 01.04.2009 whereas I want to do the posting in back date i.e. for eg. 28.03.2009. Due to which it does not get any profit center.
How do I resolve this problem. Is there any exit or BADI to do the same.

There could be multiple reasons for this. Pls check on:
1. For the Expense Account assigned in DIF, have u made the assignment for deriving Profit Center & Business Area in T Code OKB9
2. Ask your FI Consultant to check the Splitting Characteristics for the MIGO. Check the Splitting Characteristics assigned to the Accounting Document Type assigned to T Code MIGO. Also check if all the GL Accounts have been assigned a splitting characteritics. The path is:
IMG> Financial Accounting(New)>General Ledger Accounting (New)>Business Transactions>Document Splitting
3. Do you maintain profit center as a default in material Master? If yes, check if the same has been assigned in the view extended for the plant concerned?
Pls check the settings. If any doubt, revert back.

i have the following situation after simulating:

When double click on the error, it shows it is a message no vk662.

There is a problem in batch determination.
The batch you assigned to the material does not have a class or if it has a class, that class does not exist.
Display the batch from the delivery item using MSC3N and go into the Classification tab. You should have a class of class type 22. See if that class exists in CL03 and its status in basic data tab. Work on these lines and revert.

I'm a student I have a final project want to deliver it after two days.
I'm making a drag and drop game, I watched a tutorial to do that.
But after ending coding I faced a weird error!
I've I checked that my code is the same as the code in the tutorial.

Targets.as : for the targets that I'm going to drop Objects on it.

- dragdrops represents: the dragable objects.
- Targets obtaining the dropable objects by hitTestObject, then the dropable objects visible is turned to false, & the target visible turned to true.
Dragable objects is a 12 elements all of them have an instance names: paper1....paper12.
When I focused to the project I noticed that I forget to give the dragable objects an instance names!
after making the instance names to them, a new error occures:

This error is continuing to paper2, paper3.....paper12 !

It's not a problem or error, it's just a message and hence can be ignored. However you can check out SAP note 1111154 once, it will fix the issue probably if it's happening due to HTTP problem. Else you can very well ignore it.

JAXB compiler error : Complex Type Definition Representation Error

I have a problem when I try to generate Java classes for the XML Digital Signature schema along with the XAdES extension. Apparently, we got an XML validation issue when the XAdES schema is parsed.
Here is the xjc tool ouput :

</xsd:complexType>The most disturbing thing is that those two schemas I used (e.g. xmldsig-core-schema.xsd and XAdES.xsd) come directly from the W3C, so they should be fully compliant to the XML schema spec, shouldn't they ?
Moreover, I tried to validate these two schemas with XML Spy 4.3 and the problem occurs in slightly different way. In fact, the <xsd:complexContent> tags are replaced silently by XML Spy with <xsd:simpleContent> tags in order to validate the schema. So XML Spy seems to have a problem too with these complex type definitions. Besides, if I replace the <xsd:complexContent> tags the same way as XML Spy does, and if I run again the JAXB compiler, it works fine...
Does anyone have any knowledge about this issue ? I'd like very much to hear about anyone who has experienced or better solved the same kind of issue.
By the way, here is the version of JAXB that I use :

Here I want to setFocus on a DisplayObject(flash.display.DisplayObject).
I tried :

But I am not able to convert DisplayObject to UIComponent (invalid cast).

In order to set focus on an InteractiveObject (you cannot set focus on a DisplayObject which is not an InteractiveObject) use stage.focus. -

What you say is correct, to include the TYPE-POOLS in the initialization tab.
What was happening is that the Line:
typ_cihal_resltapi_tab_type TYPE OF TABLE cihal_resltapi_tab_type,
declared in the types tab was obsolete and I had to comment to activate correctly.

We are implementing a SAP standard solution as per NOTE 1003730
we are facing problem while transferring data to Government Gateway and error generated as
"An error occurred while parsing EntityName. Line 1, position 3224"
tried counting the posiitons in payload....could get any luck....
any inputs around this will be of gr8 help.

Error loading type library/DLL?
I am using ActiveX to call a LabView VI, compiled with the ActiveX
Server option enabled. When I load the VI (using the CreateObject
method) the front panel appears, but I get back this error:
"0x80029c4a {Error loading type library/DLL.}". What is wrong, and
how do I fix it? My program can't proceed beyond that point, because
it doesn't have a valid handle for the VI.
The VI is known to work (it is the "Frequency Response" example
from 'examples\apps\freqresp.llb').
LeslieWhen you open an instance of the application, make sure you are not opening a reference to LabVIEW, but to your stand alone application. In order to do this, you need to make sure your application is registered with the windows system. You can do this by either running the installer for it, or by running the executable with /register after it in the command line. In your code, you should create an instance of the application, then an instance of a VI pointer and use the GetVIReference method to assign a VI object reference to the pointer.
