WGM: No volumes or folders listed in the All tab of the Sharing view

I have a huge problem on a Mac OS X Server 10.4.7 with two hard drives installed.
Currently I'm unable to set up additional share points because the "All" pane of the "Sharing" view in Workgroup Manager 10.4.4 doesn't list any server's volume anymore.
I'm not sure but I think this issue is related to the 10.4.7 update because it never showed up before.
Is there any other brave administrator that updated his Mac OS X Server to 10.4.7 and could confirm or disprove this issue?

plenty o poeple hve updgraded to 10.4.7 without this problem.
Have you tried using WGM at the server itself?

Was this done at random or is there some logic behind it all? Einstein and Newton have completely different ideas about note/color association...their theorys can be easily found on the internet. I've messed around with applying their ideas to the user pallette just for fun. Now, I really want to know if the makers of Logic chose the colors they did for the factory defaults for a particular reason. Please help if you can!

In a situation such as yours, I tend to consolidate items into folders so I have folders of nice workable numbers of images, somewhere between 20 and 200 images. Now, whatever, once you've imported, do your moving within LR, not the OS! I will select all in a folder and drag into a folder a level or two or three above, and then delete the newly empty subfolders. I hope this helps a bit!
Once you've reached just new Imports of camera output, you'll be flying along.

Window Tabs: dragging the window tab to the desktop

Window Tabs: Tried to grab the top of the finder window and wound up dragging the window tab to the desktop.
This creates a mini-window have to logout to remove.
If you right click on the finder icon in the dock and select show all windows they are in the list selecting them seems to do nothing but return you to the desktop.
What the heck is it?

Hi roninkai I'm also experiencing this behaviour, if you drag a finder window by its tab on to the desktop it creates a mini finder window that doesn't do anything. I keep doing it by mistake.
You can get rid of them by doing a Force Quit on the Finder from the Apple menu, this quickly refreshes the desktop and then they disappear.
Hope they fix this in the next point release.

You see Album under Library > Music on the left side of iTunes or you see Albums and a list of albums at the top of iTunes when you select Library > Music?
If it is at top, go to iTunes menu View > Column browser and uncheck Album.

The Properties class is already a subclass of Hashtable. So if you have a Properties object, you already have a Hashtable. So all you need to do is the first part of that:Properties props = new Properties();

You don't need to upgrade your software. But if you're struggling with Spry, IMO you should cut your losses and switch to something better for the longrun.
If you have a budget to work with, I highly recommend Project Seven's Pop-Menu Magic 3. It's easy to use in DW CS4, 5, 6 or CC. More importantly, it's bullet proof and works in all devices.

Query to mimic the items tab of the Sales Analysis report.

Hi there,
I'm currently looking to create a query that mimics the behaviour of the Sales Analysis report in B1. The items tab of the Sales Analysis report provides all the data I require - the only issue is that I would like to merge this data with some other data regarding current on hand stock quantities etc. and therefore I would like to be able to pull out the query behind the Sales Analysis report.
I'm assuming this cannot be done and therefore I'm attempting to build a query to replicate the results. The query needs to show Item No, Item Description, Quantity Sold, Sales Amt (in system currency), Gross Profit and Gross Profit % for items within a given period.
If this can be done relatively easily, can the query then be modified to show all items (including items that haven't sold in the date range) merely with '0' for Quantity Sold, Sales Amt etc. if the item hasn't been sold in the period, and the appropriate figures if each of these columns if the item has sold. I assume some kind of CASE statement can be used to generate this.
So the query needs to show Item No, Item Description, Current quantity in stock, Quantity Sold, Sales Amt (in system currency), Gross Profit and Gross Profit % for all items within a given date range.
I hope you can assist me with this problem.

Im just guessing but it seems like you would have to get your movie into the correct folder on a computer then use iTunes to sync it to your iPad. If you've synced to a computer and have movies then on your computer should be a folder with the movie in it. You could export your iMovie to something like Dropbox then download from Dropbox to the folder you think it needs to be in the sync your iPad again. Again this is just a guess. Others may have a better answer.

There isn't a "Bookmark All Tabs" in the Firefox 4.0.1 Bookmarks pull down menu. Has this feature been eliminated from Firefox 4.0.1? If I want to save 24 tabs in one window of Firefox and 14 tabs in another window of Firefox, do I have to save all the tabs individually? How can I set the options, preferences, etc. so that I can "Bookmark All Tabs" at once in a window of Firefox 4.0.1. I am running Firefox 4.0.1 on a desktop computer with Windows7 Professional OS with Firefox as my default browser.

Right click a tab and you will get the option to bookmark all tabs. Or use keyboard '''Alt + B''' which opens the old style menu. You can make changes to Firefox, as explained in this post: [/questions/799856#answer-155765]

Try turning off & on your iPod (sorry if that sounds dumb, but it might work)

How can I make "Open Link in New Tab" open the new tab in the same window, not a different window?

When I Ctrl-click a link and choose "Open Link in New Tab" it chooses to open the new tab in a different window (one that's already open) rather than opening the new tab in the same window. Even though the other window is minimized, it automatically gets restored and placed on top of the window I was in. This interferes with my context, forcing me to minimize the window again to get back to the one I was in before. I want the new tab to open in the same window, so I can still see the tab I was in. Some links seem to have the "Open Link in New Tab" behavior automatically, so I never know when I'm going to get thrown out of my current window. Very annoying.

If you have a mouse with a scroll button then try to middle click the link to open the link in a new tab.
It is also possible that the links use onclick JavaScript instead of a href to specify the action.
