Wha? bluetooth is either ON or OFF. help!?
Basically. The bluetooth chip is always unpredictable. At one moment, it'll be On even when I had never turned it on. Sometimes it'll be off like I normally have it. Then it'll be GONE. As if the chip never existed in my computer. My preferences and my system info would display Bluetooth as NOT a feature in my macbook. I'm getting really sick of this. As i can
t put my macbook to sleep. I noticed it had to do with the chip.
Any help would be great! THANKS.
Also, if you guys could tell me if apple would be able to fix this. I have applecare. If they can. Could you, if you can, give an estimate of how long?

Try resetting the SMC
Shutting the unit down, removing power adapter and battery (make sure no power is going to the unit) and push and hold the power button for a solid 5 seconds. Put battery back in and test
And yes this would be covered under AppleCare, and we wouldn't know exactly how long it would take as we aren't the technicians. Mail in can anywhere from 4-8 days, if you take it to an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Store it could be 1-14 days.. Highly unpredictable.

I have the same problem; tried a phone restore, both restoring data and setting up as new phone with factory settings, reset all settings, re-boot, remove apostrophe, put in fridge, you name it!
I think there's quite a few iphone 4s users with the same problem!
I called Apple they said it's a hardware problem, but it has worked for nearly two years; they say go to the Apple store and they can provide a replacement phone for approx. £150!
I've been into the O2 shop where I bought it and they knew the problem exactly; said they had sent a few phones off for repair and had them back awith a report they cannot fix it because it's a software problem!
An assistant in the shop had the same issues; logic says it's a software problem and hopefully Apple will fix it with a patch but at the moment they seem to be avoiding everyones comments!
If anyone else has any ideas these would be appreciated? -

Hello, i recently got my MSI GE70, i totally love it. But for some reason the bluetooth Led won't switch off, i have disabled bluetooth, tried to update Bluetooth via MSI Website but it didnt work..
Currently im running windows 8.1 if you need the information.

I have an unlocked 3GS and it is NOT jailbroken. It ran out of battery last night and when i charged it this morning it has got stuck on the apple logo wont do anything else. My computer doesnt pick it up either! Can somebody HELP please!!!
nb. i havent updated it for a while to its running a 3. something software.Connect the iPhone to your computer and launch iTunes, then restart the iPhone by holding down the on/off and the home buttons until you see the Apple logo. I have an apple wired keyboard hooked up to my Mac mini. A while ago, the keyboard stopped working. I tried re plugging it in, and nothing's working. The "Bluetooth settings" keeps popping up, but I don't have Bluetooth, it's wired. Please help!
System Preferences->BlueTooth and turn it off. Restart and see if that fixes the problem.

I had a similar problem myself. This is what helped me.
I went to the App store app, scrolled to the bottom, logged out of the account, re logged in with my Apple ID. Then went back to app updates. Once I put in my ID password all was fine. -
After hours of back-up, downloading and uploading...I am now updated with all the latest Mac software. However, I no longer have access to Excel and Word. Is there a way I can access my documents in either of those? Help, please.
If you have older versions of excel and word that previously ran under the Rosetta emulator (allows PowerPC code to run on Intel system), they will no longer work with Lion.

If you are sure that the battery didn't die on you and that the battery has some power left in it, reboot the iPad and see if it starts up.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -

I can't seem to turn off my assistant. It talks to me constantly (or on mute) and it goes through each box individually. This makes it difficult to navigate myself through pages. Please, if you know how to turn it off, help.
