What a big prob with WLan - 5530

Hai there.
My problem: With no reason my WLan disapeared. Yes, it is gone. When I try to acess it from the shortcut it says "System Error", and it is gone from the connectivity menu. Now I cannot acess any interne connections and my acess points are gone. Already tried the reset and the factory definitions. WLan is still gone. Searched on the internet and nothing. There's anything I can do? I used to use my internet connection a lot..

Which resets have you tried? Did you try removing the battery and leaving it out for at least 5 minutes? Also no harm removing the memory card.

BIG PROBS with Creating RAID 0 with the Boot HD

Hey Everybody,
i have a Mac Pro with Mac OS X 10.5.3 and the folloring configuration:
1) a boot DH with 250GB
2) 2 x 500GB HD as a Raid 0 for Data
now i buy a new 250GB HD (then i have 2 x 250gb and 2 x 500 gb HDs) to create a nother RAID 0 with the boot HD... but that doesent work!

can some one help me? can i create a raid 0 with the boot hd? and when...how?

Lets say A and B are your 250gb drives with your current boot drive A. The two 500's are data drives C and D. My process would be to run Disk Repair on B, C and D. Then I'd run Disk Warrior on B C and D. Then boot from your DVD and run Disk Utility to repair A, just to ensure all is good. Then I would double check C and D to ensure they were duplicates, doing a Super Duper clone if needed. Then remove either C or D from your computer for safe keeping. Let's say you remove D. I would then wipe C clean and use SuperDuper to clone A to C and verify I have made a bootable perfect copy. You might even want to partition C into two drives and make two copies of A...just for temporary safety. After C has a boot copy, boot from C. Then you can use DiskUtility to create a simple RAID0 on A and B, and when that is done you can copy your C drive back into your A/B RAID. After booting from your RAID0 and then you can copy your data back from D to C (after reformatting C).
You cannot simply drag a drive from one to the other to copy it. It will not work as a boot drive doing that.
Keep in mind, if you do this, your A/B RAID has no backup. If you screw up an installation and hose it, you have nothing to fall back on. Time machine alone, or SuperDuper set to clone every day, or any of the commercial backup (or at least some of them) will give you more safety than a RAID0. RAID0 is great to save you from a single drive crashing, but more often than not the problem is installing some nasty piece of software that screws things up royally and RAID0 is wortheless for that. With your scenario, I'd buy another 250 so you can backup the RAID to that on a regular basis so if you totally screw up something you have a real bootable "last-known-good" image. After that get ANOTHER backup going to rotate off-site to save you from thieves and fires. At that point you can smile and know you really are reasonably safe. There are other ways to do this as others will explain. Several ways to skin this cat, but this is one option that will work.

In Firefox 3.6.4 and later the default connection settings have been changed to "Use the system proxy settings".

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then select ''No Proxy''

If you want it to be colored, you'll need to create a color-palette for the 8bppIndexed bitmaps. The keyword for this process is "Color-Quantization".
The whole yellow-green pie you get is from the wrong format. If you convert the 32bpp bitmaps to 24 bpp bitmaps, you loose the alpha channel ("transparency"). You can manually set one color to "transparent" with the mMakeTransparent-method
of the Bitmap class, or simply use gif-images (they are 8bpp with a transparent "key"-color)

Airport connection probs with Mac Pro and 10.4.8 too.

This prob is not just related to iMacs or MacBooks as published in the knowledge base doc. I have exactly the same prob with my 2.66 GHz Mac Pro. I have to reconnect this beast to my wlan router manually every time.
PLZ Apple fix this asap!

I had a similar problem which I've fixed!
I have four machines here which can connect to my Netgear DG834N via Aiport. (I say can because they normally connect via ethernet.) My MacBook Pro always used to be fine when connected wirelessly but recently, not aware of any changes I've made, it connects for about 10 seconds then disconnects. All other machines are fine and hold the connection.
This is what I tried before finding my solution:
1) Deleted all references to the network in the keychain and remade them.
2) Created another user to try
3) Changed channels on the router even though I can't see any neighbour's networks.
4) Made sure computer and router were up to date with firmware/software.
I'm assuming that it has to be a computer problem as the PowerMac, iMac and iPod Touch have no issues at all. However, the cure was in the router.
I run with SSID broadcast turned off, WPA2 encryption and MAC address filtering. Allowing broadcast of the SSID cures my problem. Turn it off and the computer connects then drops it ten seconds later. Turn broadcast on and it maintains the connection. I've tried it all afternoon, leaving it connected for about 30 minutes at a time before turning SSID broadcast off again. Works every time! Broadcast SSID - fine, no broadcast - drops after ten seconds.
Now, if only I knew why! And why only the laptop?

Problem with my 5530 and its camera

i've got a big problem with my nokia 5530. I bought it five weeks ago. But since two weeks photos and videos don't appear in my photo gallery. I can take a photo, but i can't save it and when I want to take a new photo the old one isn't there anymore. And when I go into the gallery and there isn't any photo although i just took some... Whats wrong with my mobile phone? Can anyone help me?

Are the photos saved in memory card? had this problem once. Just connect your phone to PC in mass storage mode and run a disk check on it to check for errors.

Refer Topic# 7 of [SAP Note 541538 - FAQ: Reorganization|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/541538]. This Note address all the questions related to Reorganization.
First I would check how much wasted space is there for table FAGLFLEXA at database level.
Run the following SQL commnad to get such result. The result will include Top 40 Tables sorted by Wasted Space due to Table fragmentation.
The following SQL command is taken from [SAP Note 821687 - FAQ: Space utilization and fragmentation in Oracle|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/821687]. Refer it to get more info.
First Update Database statistics before executing following query.

The result will tell you about how much space benefit you will get, if you reorganize such required tables.
What is the free space required in PSAPSR3 table space.
The required Space will be sum of Total Space of Table(s) and the sum of total space of their associated indexes. You can extend the default table space (of table owners) with that required size or You can create new Table space for such big tables and incorporate -n <new_table_sapce> option in Table Reorganization command so that the new table will be created in new table space after successful completion of table reorganization process.
2. PSAPTEMP Tables pace required size.
PSAPTEMP will be used during Index Creation activities. So It should be sufficient to handle such activity. Refer SAP Note 659946 to get more info.
3. PSAPUNDO Tables pace required size.
PSAPUNDO will be used to store "Before image of last consistent Data" of actual Table Data. In Table reorganization activity Materialized views will be created in default table space of table owner. Such Materialized vies will be used to record all changes of actual Table which happen while Table Reorganization activity.

This problem started to happen since yesterday when I installed adobe acrobat reader XI pro to try it before I buy it, and before that when I was using the free adobe pdf reader I was totally able to copy any text from any pdf and past it anywhere with nothing wrong.
What can I do?

On certain pages, a big circle with an arrow inside it takes the foreground in the bottom left corner, and I can't get rid of it.

This image is something new on my screen, probably since the last Fx update or so.
I think this big-circle-with-an-arrow-inside may be a sign indicating that I need to download something, or that something is available for download. I see it on sites featuring various media, such as on some of Amazon's digital music pages and also on some of IMDb's pages.
Further regarding any downloads, I don't know if this circle refers to a plugin, or a media file, or if, in fact, either.
I have no idea what the circle with an arrow is trying to tell me, nor do I know how to get rid of it. It takes over the forefround of the corners where it resides, rendering any links beneath it inoperable. At the very least, I would just like to make it go away.

at least that the operator has confirmed to me that he called me. I also have problems with either the start of the mac with the power off. I can not understand if it crashes or is just very very slow.

I often said to have been ejected incorrectly (not true) and I start to restore the startup recovery disk because disk utility is ineffective from the normal operating system .. is a shocking thing, but how you reduced. in four years it had never happened. seem to have windows or worse. You are on Windows 2000, you do not have a "Firefox" button, and should consider yourself to be fortunate in that you still have menus and don't have to do anything to get the menus back instead of the "Firefox" button. (The same applies to Windows XP users).
Use the "File" menu to get to Import. You are not on Windows 7 or Vista, and don't have to put up with the nonsense added for Aero.
If you want the "Firefox" button you can get it with View -> toolbars -> (uncheck) Menu Bar. The menu bar and the "Firefox" button were supposed to be mutually exclusive (which is impossible in some cases without being incompatible).

In need of big help with my zen to

I have a zen touch, and I am having big problems with it. At first my touch pad would only scroll down lists of things, no matter which way I slid my finger. This problem is still not resolved. And now when trying to start my player, it will go through the first screen that says creative, and then will stop and freeze on the second that says Zen Touch. I'm having the same problem. Somehow several of my files got duplicated on my zen touch, and i was going through manually deleating the extra files, when it froze. I attempted to reset it, and it got stuck on the second screen. I tried reseting it 4 or 5 times, and each time it froze on the same menu. I can't turn it off, or do anything with any of the buttons.
any insight?

Big problem with receiver

i've been having a big issue with my receiver i just purchased a yamaha rx-v463 and i got that with the klipsch speakers and sub. the problem is that i connect my high def cable box and ps3 and when i switch to play games and watch movies on the receiver it doesn't show the picture and it keeps flashing pcm what can be causing this

I would recommend going though your menu system. Many systems require you to specify what kind of connection to use for each audio and video source.
Since it is flashing PCM, you may need to tell where to look for your audio signal (i.e. Coax or TosLink(SpDif))
