I had to uninstall CS6 Flash but cannot reinstall. Cloud says it is already installed but it is not. Anyone have any experience with this question?

If you registered the software then your serial number should be recorded in your Adobe account online.

Just to address the last point: check your History menu to see whether you have the Restore Previous Session option and use that if you can. If that is grayed out or doesn't restore everything, check the Recently Closed Windows and Recently Closed Tabs lists for other pages.
The unwanted window may be generated by an add-on. Try disabling ALL nonessential or unrecognized extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, if in doubt, disable.
Usually a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.

Here are some other things to check:
(1) user.js file that changes Firefox startup behavior and overrides your preferences. This article describes how to track that down and delete it if you have one: [[How to fix preferences that won't save]].
(2) Possible hijacked shortcut. Check the "target" of the desktop icon you use to start Firefox to see whether it lists the unwanted page. To do that:
right-click the icon > Properties > Shortcut tab
For 64-bit Windows 7, the Target should be no more and no less than this:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"
(3) Possible undisclosed bundle items. If you have installed any free software recently, check your Windows Control Panel, Uninstall a program for surprises. If you click the "Installed on" column head to group by date, it is easier to spot bundled junk. Remove everything suspicious or unrecognized.
(4) Supplemental clean up scans. Our support article lists tools other Firefox users have found helpful: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware]].
Hopefully that cures it.

According to your description, in my opinion, it seems like not bcd file problem. It's PC itself problem, maybe a hardware problem, also can be system componments corrupt.
Can this PC startup successfully if you choose reboot or shutdown PC? Or this problem just occures after resume system from hibernate?

For your problem, in my opinion, it would be better to use System installation to fix this system file for test.

Long shot.
Do a backup.
Quit the application.
Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Select Library. Then go to Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist. Move the .plist to your desktop.
Restart, open the application and test. If it works okay, delete the plist from the desktop.
If the application is the same, return the .plist to where you got it from, overwriting the newer one.

In iTunes, do Store->View my AppleID
Click "Deuthorize ALL"
Then, on any computers you still have, do Store->Authorize this computer. If there are less than 5, you will have no problem.
You can only do "deauthorize all" once a year, so in the future, if you ever throw a computer away, remember do to "Store->Deauthorize this computer" first.

Now don't get me wrong at no point do they explicitly state that the product is aimed at students, but when the entire advertising campaign for your new 'faster' broadband involves only students and habbo references you'd forgive me for thinking you'd actually be accommodating to that market.
Every student that is living away from home, in halls or in a self-rented student-flat, has to move out between the end of june and september, now that is a 3 month period, or to it put another way a quarter of a 12 month contract.
To put a bit of perspective on it I am a third year student, I have been with BT since I moved out of my parents house. Each summer I have to shell out £119.97 for a product I CANNOT use. A quarter of what I am paying for each year. I am a student I can't afford to waste that much, I am on the rock bottom deal, the cheapest there is, and I am still bleeding cash that I don't have.
Every student is suffering this issue and BT is counting on them not being bill-savy yet to bleed them of their maintenance loan. There is no way of getting a 9 month contract at a decent price, there is no way of getting my line suspended over the summer.
BT keeps thrusting letters through my door about switching to infinity, and you know if I wasn't already wasting £119.97 I might shell out that extra £15 and get a decent speed. They have adverts full of students living away from home being all independent with their infinity broadband, god knows how they can afford it, maybe the shabby one is a dealer but that would be reading too much into it.
But why? oh why? Is there a complete lack of any way of catering to this massive market? Why not offer them something, this is a group of people that are going to be making some serious money in the future, they are going to be the ones that buy your infinity+tv+broadband+kitchen sink deal. Why are you doing your level best not to be helpful BT?

I finally thought I got this sorted back in june after a two hour phone battle with BT I eventually got through to someone that could actually sort the whole mess out.
HOWEVER. I get a call this morning telling me I have two months of outstanding bills. I explain the situation and after about twenty minutes of this lady telling me that's not how it works I get an 'oh wait it's right here in the notes section on your account! Sorry for the inconvienience. Also you are going to need to call up billing to get that error corrected. Goodbye'

Did you get the S/N or the number to provide in order to get access to the S/N. They have changed some of the activation processes and it includes a step of having a number to get the other number. Sounds kind of weird, but that may be what you are seeing. I think they have implemented that process, but am not sure. I don't due activation on a regular basis and so am not aware of the implementation of a change that has been mentioned.

Cannot Type Full Serial Number for Flash Pro CS5.5 STUDENT

Flash Professional CS5.5 STUDENT & Teacher Edition has several letters in the beginning of the serial number unlike the standard releases. I have purchased my copy from Amazon.com and I have installed my copy fine once before but my computer crashed recently and now I cannot reinstall Flash Pro because it won't let me type letters into the serial form, only numbers. I have tried typing them normally, using shift, copy and pasting them... nothing. Is there any other way that I can input the serial number or fix whatever isn't letting me type letters?

There are two "serial" numbers (the product number) that came on the product packaging.
The software is Adobe Flash Professional CS5.5 Student and Teacher Edition, purchased from Amazon.com and needed student verification to obtain the license.
^ [ I figured out what was wrong, but I'll just leave the information here for anyone in the future that may have short-term memory as well ]
I have just went through my records that I recovered from my laptop and it seems that the serial number on the product package DOES IN FACT have letters in it. But I think that I had to register it with Adobe and verify that I was a student before Adobe would give me my legitimate serial number that contained only numbers. So this is why there are tons of these threads about this that never go answered because the people asking and the people helping are both right and wrong at the same time. The students are trying to use the only serial that was provided to them, but it isnt the true serial. Maybe Adobe could be more clear that it isn't a serial number for the product underneath it? "Product Code" is synonymous with "Serial Number" to most people.
You use this code (the code with letters in it; the "product code") to contact Adobe and verify your status as a studen/teacher and then they give you the true serial number that is all numbers. Search your email for mail from Adobe to find your serial if you have already done this. I had completely forgotten how the process worked since it was a while ago.

I have version 5.7 and every time I opened it I was told that updates are available and to click on the icon to access these. Instead it just took me to the
adobe page with nowhere visible to update. I then sought to download lightroom cc and this is when I could not access the 'develop' section due to reduced
functionality It was apparent that my photos had been put in cc but no way to access them unless I wanted to subscribe.
I have since remedied the problem as my original lightroom 5.7 icon is still available on the desktop and have gone back to that. I do feel that this is a bit
of a rip off and an unnecessary waste of my time though.

Deauthorise all to reset to zero, then authorize again.
