What a slap in the face!!!!!!

So I have a date to be able to get a new phone on 2/6/11 three days after the 2/3/11 date that they open pre orders. They do this at 3AM so they can't watch everyone have to get up at 2:45 Am to oder a phone!!! Then they set another date of 2/9/11 at you guessed it 3AM again!!!!!! So since I am now eligible I get my {word filter avoidance} up at 2:45 and order the phone. Get an email, Phone will not ship until 2/18/11!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could have gotten up and gone into the store on 2/10/11 and walked out with my phone that day!!!! So today I look on the website and it say FREE SHIPPING WITH ONLINE ORDER!!!!!!!!!! are YOU {word filter avoidance} KIDDING ME!!!!!????? So before calling them to voice my EXTREME displeasure for that slap in the face I look at the email that they sent me confirming that MY phone would not be shipped until 2/18/11. I use the reference number and the link in the email to check the status of my order. Status: shipped. No tracking number, no way to tell if I benifitted from the Overnight shipping they are now offering. So I call them like I would imagine that many thousand others have done to find out did Verizon give me FREE OVERNIGHT SHIPPING like they did for anyone that bought theirs today online. Those people did not even have to get out of bed ealry!!!! So what I am told is that I will get a tracking number in 3 or 4 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a gigantic slap in the face for all of the people like me that got up at 3 {word filter avoidance} AM to order a phone!!!!!! So the people that made an effort to get their {word filter avoidance} out of bed at 3 AM got {word filter avoidance} slapped by Verizon and any lazy {word filter avoidance} that rolled out of bed today get FREE OVERNIGHT SHIPPING!!!!!! And I STILL have no Idea when I will get my phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!absolutely {word filter avoidance} poor service and all of the people that made an effort deserve at the very least a public apology from Verizon............................... AT&T sucks that's why I waited so long to get this phone only to be DUMPED ON like this!!!!!!!

We did get the overnight shipping it said so when I orderd the phone at 2:55 AM so that much isn't an issue if it makes you feel better.
I totally agree that the processing has been absolutely terrible. I understand they got a lot of orders but they shouldn't have sent out so many devices to where they had NONE to immediately process for the online people who ordered earlier. But different CSR's are giving all different answers so that's useless. One told her that it would be here tomorrow since hers shipped at 5 ish PM which obviously isn't looking hopeful. I understand the original pre-orders took a little processing because the phones hadn't been released but now they are and here we are the dumbies sitting here with no phone while the people who went after are all enjoying them. I have never had a complaint with verizon and I still wouldn't have if it would have been delivered tomorrow (still a day after others I might add).

You don't need to create an account. Your use your Apple ID to log into Facetime.
If you haven't already you will need to download the Facetime App from the Mac App Store.

After restoring my photos from time machine they are all zoomed in on the faces and don't have the surrounding image, what can I do to find the original photos?

What belongs in the faces-config.xml file? Just bean and navigation info?

I am looking for detailed information on the faces-config.xml file.
I've used examples up to this point and I was wondering where the documentation for this configuration file was at.
At this point, I know that bean management and navigation information is in this file, but are there other settings?

What happes to "iPhoto saved FACES" if I reinstall OS X Lion?

I have bought a 2011 macbook pro running the default version of os x on the device and then i upgraded to os x lion.
Now the problem is that i want to change my mac's name (the name that appears in front of the home logo in finder) and due to searches i have done across the net, it seems that its not possible unless i reinstall my os x lion.
So i am asking that what happens to my personal data so far and specially what happens to the FACES that i have named in iphoto so far?
will they be erased?

and I have another question.
my os x lion have crashed so bad several times during this 2 weeks that i bought my mac, in a way that i could do nothing but holding the power button, and i supposed that apple's operating systems are not that easy to crash.
is it normal? I'd say it happened about 5 times in 2 weeks. is something wrong with lion updates? i have read some forums that they say something is wrong with firewire update.

What is your current situation?
Have you tried the solution as MVP Cyber_Defend_Team mentioned?
Do this program preinstalled? If yes, we need to contact the manufacturer to receive better support.
If my understanding is right, you uninstalled it once, but the program was back and only the option to ‘change’.
Could you please provide us a screenshot to avoid misunderstanding if you willing to?
Can you run the program? If the program runs in the startup, we could use the tool System Configuration (msconfig) to disable apps or services that normally run at startup.

The Managed Bean in the faces-config.xml File

I am still very new to JSF. I am confused about the managed bean.
For example, I have a button in my web page. A click on this button invokes an action; say, ListAction.java.
In this ListAction class, I instantiate a business delegate; say, ListPersonnel.java and call a method in this business delegate to return an ArrayList: personnel. Of course, this business delegate goes through facade, DAO, etc. to populate the ArrayList. This ArrayList is a collecation of a JavaBean called PersonnelBean that gets and sets a number of personnel information; such as ssn, name, etc.
Upon this ArrayList is successfully populated and received by the ListAction class, I am going to display a web page with a table. In JSF, it is <h:dataTable ...>.
My questions are regarding the managed bean in the faces-config.xml file.
1. Which one is my <managed-bean-class>? packageName.ListAction? or packageName.PersonnelBean? or something else?
2. What should be my <managed-bean-name>? I guess that I can give a name I like. Is it right? What about xyz?
3. Then, how do I specify the "value" attribute of my <h:dataTable ...> tag when I display a web page to show the data table? Is it correct to specify value="#{xyz.personnel}"? What is the correct specification if it is wrong?

A question about the face call through wifi

Hi I'm currently waiting for iphone4 in Korea
one of the main reasons for me to buy iphone4 is
I can use face call(I know it isn't the official term but
I hope everyone understands what I mean) for free through
wifi. So right now my biggest concern is that does the free face
call exclusively possible inside of the us or does it possible
internationally through wifi. In other word does the face call possible
between the iphone4 user in Korea and in the us?

I think it will be, I saw a post I think on engadget.com that shows the possibility. The guy was using a mifi in I think the UK and the other guy was in the states. It was possible but it had hiccups. I have not seen a wifi to wifi in two different countries as of yet. But the mifi to wifi in two different countries yes. The study was done to see why Face Time was not available when using 3G service and it clearly showed it is possible because the mifi uses a 3G signal which is translated as a hotspot.....There also may be international laws in certain countries that block it.

What On Earth Did the Pages Team Do All Year?

In a word: iWeb. iWeb is almost identical to Pages, with the output magically made for the Web. That's not an easy thing to do. It's one of the best Apple apps ever, in my view, especially for a 1.0.
Now, on the other hand, why did I spend 79 bucks for Pages 2.0, which turns out to be virtually identical to Version 1? Sucker. I can't imagine why Apple would go with such a weak 2.0. Oh, right: sucker.
iLife '06 is a great deal; iWork '06 not so much for me.
iWeb should have been part of iWork in any event, given its close similarity to Pages -- I wonder if it was at some point?

I'll have to wait a a while longer too, so I'm following these discussions to help anticipate any problems I might encounter.
Against my widely shared constraint in the face of Apple's upgrade policy, I need the comments feature. And I'm well short of tempted to search for another wordprocessor and then add Adobe or Quark for half the price of a new computer and the time it would take to learn them. Besides, for initial book production, either would be overkill - and hopefully a publisher will be able to pick up something I can export from Pages to tweak, if need be, for commercial printing.
On the other hand, Pages will allow me to assert the style I want, or publish independently if commercial firms want to mess around too much with what I want seen in my name. For such purposes, I dare predict, Pages has nothing short of revolutionary potential in the world of modern literature.
In which context, of course, the Web will also play it's part.
Hence my appreciation of this thread. The time will come when I'll want to try iWeb, and most importantly consider how well it will work with Pages.
I'll look forward to your comments on that, amongst other things, in reviews that I'm sure are forthcoming.
If it's any consolation to Gerry, Australia's a bit of an an outpost too, and it's maybe next week, or whatever, for all that even my Applestore knows.
I daresay I'll review Pages2 myself when I've had some acquaintance with it.
But I won't be able to offer any experience in Web design, so I'll gladly follow your threads on that - particularly as to starting from Pages.
