Does any one know if Apple will be releasing a new sound dock, such as the old Hi-Fi ??? Anything ???
PS: Which is the best sound dock at the moment ( except the Hi-Fi ) ?

Yeah, my Go+Play works just like the Apple Hi-Fi ( sound quality and bass deepness ). But there is a slight catch, the remote has s*y keys. I can always use my Apple Dock with the Apple remote ... but it`s a hard to move layout. Anyway, I don`t think the Zeppelins are worth 600€ ...

Honestly, you've had the ability to control most, if not all of those settings for at least a couple years now. It was just buried a little more deeply in the MyVerizon account. When you signed up, you were given information about your CPNI rights (Customer Proprietary Network Information). If you didn't read it at the time, and now could hardly be bothered to scroll down (egads!), then you probably deserve the junk mail that having your information shared with Verizon's marketting partners is like to cause.

You need to create a user account for your wife (or yourself depending on who has the current user account). When syncing, each of you should sign in as a separate user, login to iTunes and then sync. I had this problem when my sister got an iPhone. When we did her initial sync, everything on my iPhone showed up on hers. Apple gave me this solution.

HT4009 What about upgrading? I can't do that from where I live w/o connecting to my hd. Now with the new changes to ITunes, I don't see how I can upgrade thru the traditional route I took b4. Now what do I do?

With iTunes 11 you can enable the left-hand sidebar that used to show on previous versions of iTunes via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC. WHAT ABOUT LEAVING PASTED CLIPS SELECTED after a Paste operation in the Timeline?!? Like every other app in the world?
What about leaving a complex selection of clips intact after an UNDO operation? (This costs me hundreds of minutes a week.) Like every other app in the world?
What about allowing "." as an abbreviation for "00" when entering timecode?
What about letting the renaming of a clip in a bin be reflected in timelines?
What about a "reduce project" option? (To remove all items not used by selected sequences, like Ae.)
What about actually useful clip labels (colors) which link between timeline items and their respective clips in the bin? (Like Avid & FCP) So we can mark certain clips a certain color in a bin and have that color be reflected in timelines?
What about being able to close the title tool with a shortcut, not just a tiny 4x4 button?
What about fixing the title tool so it's kerning/leading shortcuts are NOT the exact opposite of EVERY OTHER CC application?
What about a simple "Select Media Relatives" command, like in FCP and Avid?
What about fixing the audio scrub toggle shortcut so that it works without having to play or use the mouse?
What about a shortcut for "Reveal in Finder" from the Timeline? It's in the context menu -- why no shortcut?

Your new MacBook Pro won't run PPC programs. For Parallels you need to update to the latest version 7.

Be sure to install the latest version of Safari (version 5.1.7) which is available via Software Update (in the Apple menu) if you have not already installed it. This update will automatically disable older versions of Flash when new versions are available, and will instruct you on how to install the latest version on your system. This should help keep your system safe from any vulnerabilities in Flash.
Note that this is only useful if you use Safari, though other browsers have their own update mechanisms you should research and enable or configure to your liking.

The Lightroom forum is not read-only (evident as you've just posted a question).
The Beta forums in Adobe Labs are locked because the beta program is now closed. If you arrive in the beta forum because of a Web search, you can't reply to the thread but the homepage (and the Lightroom product page) links you to the correct place.

What do you think about the new and improved SiriusDecisions Waterfall?

SiriusDecisions launched their new and improved Demand Waterfall this week at their Summit in Scottsdale, Arizona. For those of you who haven't seen it yet, I have attached the PDF for your viewing pleasure. What do you think? What's strong? What's weak? Do you agree with Tony Jaros that teleprospecting is a required step in the Marketing Qualification process?

It makes a lot of sense from our perspective. Our sales organization has always generated the bulk of our leads, so it makes sense to account for them and to build programs to support them. It was a great conference - my first SiriusDecisions Summit. I came away both energized and overwhelmed.
Our Inside Sales team qualifies almost all inquiries via telephone, so it makes sense to me that "teleprospecting" is a required step. The only exceptions are sales-generated leads, so the waterfall reflects that perfectly.
What I like most about the new waterfall is that it creates a clear structure for us to focus more on developing lead nurturing and pipeline acceleration programs specifically for teleprospecting- and sales-generated leads. I'll admit that we've neglected this (simply including those contacts in our marketing-generated lead nurtures). Furthermore, it reinforces the need to tailor nurtures to the buyer's stage in the buying process. We tend to move all of our contacts through the same campaign and nurture activities as if they're progressing together, which obviously isn't the case.
I'd be interested in learning how other Eloqua users are getting data back from their CRM on a contact who has turned into a qualified lead. How do you find this information out? Do you then put them through an individual nurture that is focused on accelerating the deal?

What is different about the Airport Extreme that the FCC listed in June 2011 from the October 2009 model? I currently have the UFO-shaped Airport from 2003 and it doesn't have enough ports on the back, so it's time to upgrade.

We don't have any official announcement or specifications from Apple regarding this so called June 2011 model. At any given time there are dozens of rumors floating around on the Internet regarding new products.
The terms of use agreement of the forum.....which we all agreed to.....do not permit us to discuss a product that has not been officially announced from Apple.
When/if that occurs, and Apple has provided us some specifications to look at.....we can talk about the "new" product.

There's an update from Apple that's been pushed out. On mine, System Update pushed this when I opened Safari. If not same for you, try running Software Update.

When I clicked on Firefox, the update bar started but when it stopped Firfox would not open. The blue screen of death popped up and said something about a new installation. We restarted the computer and now Firefox will not open. Help!

When I clicked to open Firefox the update bar appeared and an update loaded. Usually when this happens Firefox will open up when the update is finished. This time it did not open. when I clicked on the icon again the blue screen opened and said something about a new installation and if this was the first time you have seen this screen restart your computer and try again. I restarted the computer and when I clicked on the Firefox icon the "hour glass" would appear like it was trying to open but it never would open. I don't know what else to do.
