  • What exactly do you get with the analytics?

So I've been trying to do some research on the Analytics that you get with both the pro and enterprise account... and I've yet to get a clear answer as to what type of analyitics you even get in general...  the best I could find is that you can tie in SiteCatylst with the enterprise account...  but that doesn't tell me anything more than "you get analytics with pro, and you can plug in with sitecatylst with enterprise!"
So besides the basic "this was downloaded X amount of times"  what type of analytics do you even get?  and what are the additional analytics you get with enterprise subscription?
    Anyone got a nice list?
    Thanks ahead of time...

You can learn about base-level analytics here (video included):

This topic is general because the type of base reports provided is continually changing based on feedback. If you have an account with SiteCatalyst, your analytics data is much more extensive and customizable. • Windows xp 64bit and disk you get with IPOD

Ok.. Im not sure if I need to install my ipod with the disk that I got with my ipod last year now that im using windows xp 64bit? I have the windows xp 64 also.
I dont want to mess up my pc so maybe its best to ask here first.

I'm not even certain the iPod would even work with the 64-bit version of Windows XP. It would be an interesting experiment but you'll be lacking proper 64-bit drivers for the iPod. Perhaps, this version has a 32-bit emulation mode that might transparent to both the iPod and Windows XP. I say, install iTunes, connect the iPod onto the computer and see what happens, If it doesn't work, it shouldn't damage the computer and just un-install the programs.

    Hey Xxx_Dank_xxX,
Have you ever been able to sync your iPod shuffle to iTunes on your computer, or has something recently occurred?  Are you working with a Mac or a PC?   Without knowing what has been recommended to you, I'm going to start here with the basics troubleshooting for this issue.

  • Whats fixed with iPod Shuffle update v1.1.2???

I have looked everywhere... and there is no specific detail of the fixes...
it just says they have fixed a number of bugs!
And i would be MUCH better if the iPod update was smaller in size (maybe if they were seperate downloads for Shuffle, nano, etc)... to reduce the size... the update is 45mb... and i have a dialup connection... u can imagine how long its gonna take to download!!!!

I hope they fixed all the errors people get with the Shuffle!
I for one was listening to a song (Kevin Lyttle - Turn me on) and then suddenly Orange LED starts blinking, and on the back the battery LED is blinking RED...
the thing is it was FULLY CHARGED!
so i switched it off for afew secs and turned it back on... and it was working.
Another problem i had was sometimes it would just stop playing half way thru the track.
Plus all the errors i get when connecting it to my PC... i mean its too much.... it ejects itself ten times at least during charging or uploading songs!

  • HT1719 can't get my ipod shuffle to work in new fiesta

I collected my new fiesta on sunday 14th Oct 2013, but can't get my ipod shuffle ( 4th generation) to work or sync with the car.
I am not technical so simple answers would really be appreciated.
    thanks
    Jeannette

It's possible that your car's audio system is not designed to work with an iPod shuffle.  You should look at the car audio system's documentation to see what types of devices are supported when connected to the USB port on the car audio system.
An iPod does not "sync" with the car audio system.  The system is only using the device connected to the USB port as a storage device.  It would be the same as connecting a simple USB flash drive, with songs files on it, to that port.  The car audio system reads the song files and does the playing.  The iPod is not doing the playing.  So the question is, does the car audio system know HOW to find song files on an iPod?  You may want to check the settings screen on the car audio system, to see if there is a specific setting that tells it you are connecting an iPod.
If the car audio system has an auxiliary audio input port (which looks like the headphones jack on the shuffle), you can connect the shuffle (or any device with standard audio output) to the car audio system using something like this
    http://www.amazon.com/Monster-iCable-Player-Auxiliary-Input/dp/B002AR5XIK
and play your shuffle through the car audio system.

  • What happens when you get Error 1905??

    ERROR 1905 MODULE C:/PROGRAM FILES/ITUNES/ITUNESMINIPLAYER.DLL

Okay...so what do I do? After this it goes to "stopping services", but says it is unable to do that. Then when I open I-tunes it says that the part of the program where the computer connects to the ipod was not installed correctly. this is soooo frustrating. my brother's had an ipod shuffle for about 2 years so itunes was already installed. i was just trying to update it so my ipod video could be read.

Sorry no but here is some info anyway,
We increased MaxPermSize from 192 to 512
We also increased min and max JVM Heap size to 768 and 2048 respectively.
Since then I think we have not experienced this problem more than once.
We also have one server with the default parameters and it seems to work fine.
I believe that size, and number of simultaneous request/responses have an impact  on this.
We will now install the latest updates and after that decide whether to start logging jvm activities or not.
    Best regards

  • How can you get your ipod touch open when you forgot the password and its disabled and not connected to wifi

How can you get your iPod touch open when you forgot the password and its disabled and not connected to the Internet Connection and you don't want to reset it.

    Disabled
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Forgot passcode or device disabled
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    For how to restore:
    iTunes: Restoring iOS software
    To restore from backup see:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.

  • Why can't I get my ipod shuffle to do anything when I know the battery is full

Why can't I get my Ipod shuffle to do anything? Before it stopped playing, saying or doing any thing I checked battery and it was full! This has happened before with another Ipod shuffle and I took it back. well, my new one is doing it. It plays for a while and then it decides to stop. Has anyone else experienced this?
    Headphones in properly. Check !
    Battery full. Check !
I can not even see a light when I switch it on and off. No voice over to tell me anything. Zero music!
Played music for about 1-2 hours max. Should be more than this! Checked battery before it stopped anyway and this was fine.
    Help!

Does the iPod connect to other networks?
Does the iPod see the network?
    Any error messages?
    Do other devices now connect?
    Did the iPod connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Power off and then back on the router
    - Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
    - iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
    - iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

It has some songs I would like to keep
There is no legal way to do this-  You would need to be using the same AppleID (account)
As far as deleting the songs, in a situation like this, you should restore the iPod which will delete the songs as well as allow you to sync your own music.
For instructions on how to delete/add songs  it's best to check the manual:
    http://support.apple.com/manuals/#ipod
As far as restoring, you didn't mention what model you are using but just choose your model from here (they have step by step instructions):

how do you sync movies from itune as audio to iPod shuffle, any idea?

You can't sync movies with iPod shuffle because the obvious lack of display. You may be able to get only the audio by using software like AoA Audio Extractor. Here's a guide: http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-extract-audio-from-movies-and-v ideo-files-easily/. Afterwards you may add the audio file by going to iTunes, then pressing Files, add files, then choose the file you want and it will be added to your music library.

how do you restore an ipod shuffle (2nd) generation

Connect the iPod to your computer and update via iTunes.
iTunes 10 for Windows: Update and restore software on iPod, iPhone, or iPad
A 1G iPod can go to iOS 3.1.3 that you get here:
Purchasing iOS 3.1 Software Update for iPod touch (1st generation)
A 2G to 4.2.1. Requires iTunes version 10.X. That requires a Mac with OSX 10.5.8 or later. With 1OSX 10.4.11 you can only go to iTunes 9.X which gets you as high as iOS 4.1
