Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

I printed a 'preview' document and now it continues to print a never ending set of copies. I have re-installed the printer software, but it still continues to print more copies. What do I need to do to stop the document printing?
Try resetting the printing system.
1. Open System Preferences > Print & Fax
2. Move your mouse over the Printers list
3. Hold down the Control button and click the mouse
4. Click the "Reset printing system ..." popup
5. Restart your Mac
This will remove your print queues but not your printer drivers. So you will only need to add your printer queues again. -
I get the following error message when I connect a usb ethernet adapter to my new MacBook Pro: Unsupported - You cannot use an Apple USB Modem with this computer. I live where we only have dial-up and the Apple Store said this is what I need. In addition, when I connect the phone to the connecter it falls out, it will not click in.
Why are you using a usb ethernet adaptor? Just plug the modem into the usb port.

I need to remove myself as the primary administrator for a CC acount and assign to another administrator. How should I proceed?
adobe forums, only to discover Adobe doesn't allow a primary admin to ever leave. This is rather silly as people leave workplaces, they don't stay for life. An answer in a different forum on this site said one must cancel their adobe account, then start a new one. Though... Adobe doesn't allow a person to cancel their adobe account. It all must be done via Adobe customer service, which has proved non existent. There is no email address to email a request, there is a chat option which claims 24/7 chat however this functionality doesn't seem to work on my new Lenovo computer, current IE explorer running Windows 8.
Adobe - you really need to sort this out. I have left the work place where I was the Team Administrator some months ago now and now I need to be removed from that workplace account completely. Currently, I still have full access to it, which is not good from a security point of view because if I were a disgruntled ex-employee I could play havoc with my workplaces subscription and access their confidential files stored in the cloud.
Looking through the Forum, there is a great deal of conversation on this exact point. I'd suggest you answer this one, then create a sticky so people don't keep creating new threads and then see about resolving the issue so that Primary Admins can change in future, and be removed when they leave the workplace.

I would bet that you have it placed before weblogic.jar right now.
I don't think the exception that you're seeing right now has anything

safe to not worry about it right now.

Let's try a repair install of iTunes first.

But the following error message will appears.
The current ABAP command is obsolete and problematic, especially so in ABAP

Within classes and interfaces, you can only use "TYPE" to refer to ABAP Dictionary
types, not "LIKE" or "STRUCTURE".
Could you give me some ideas to remove this error? Any suggestion is appreciated.

In the newer versions of SAP for object oriented programming we declare objects using TYPE statements.
Obsolete:
DATA: V_MATNR LIKE MATNR.

To be used.

DATA: V_TABLETYPE TYPE BSEG_T.
For declaring structures we need to use below code:
LVC_T_FCAT is a table type
LVC_S_FCAT is a structure
DATA: i_fcat1 TYPE lvc_t_fcat.
DATA: i_fcat2 TYPE TABLE OF lvc_s_fcat.
Here W_FCAT1 and W_FCAT2 are same but the way they are declared are
different. If you are referring to a TABLE TYPE you can use TYPE LINE OF
method or you can directly say TYPE referring to that structure (lvc_s_fcat).

I had a Microsoft tech access my computer remotely to resolve issues with my hotmail acct. There were files that needed to be deleted and he also changed some settings.
Later, when I tried to open InDesign I received the following error:

I can access Acrobat and MS Office programs, it's just the CS3 programs that I can't access. Can I uninstall and then reinstall CS3 without an access (un-lock) code?Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.
This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps. -

PPC, also known as PowerPC has not existed on Macs since the beginning of 2006. Apple made a bridge software and included it with Mac OSes until 10.6.8 known as Rosetta that would allow you to run software written for the PowerPC Macs. 10.7 and later can't run that bridge software. You have one of several options:
Install 10.6 retail on a USB Flash drive, and run that application while booted from there.
Find an update designed for 10.7 or later of the software.
Find a combination of Virtualbox or Paralllels that can legally run a version of 10.6 side by side with your 10.7 software.
Run Windows on your Mac with Virtualbox or use CrossOver that requires no Windows to run a Windows version of your application.
Your Mac is an iMac Intel. I will ask a moderator redirect your thread to the 10.7 forum, and no action is needed on your part. -

While SA complains that it won't work in Standard Configuration, WGM does not. There is some fault in the logic of this for which I don't have an explanation.
If I want to get control on Dock, selection of Home folder, config of Proxy... which I think are basic things, do I really need the advanced mode?
If you wish to have complete control of all client settings, yes. There really is no disadvantage of using an Advanced configuration other than the learning curve.
So if I switch to advanced mode, there is good chance I won't get this error message anymore, right?

It sounds like you are not able to print to your Epson 2200. I found an article with steps you can take to troubleshoot printer issues on a Mac:
Follow these steps until the issue is addressed:
Make sure that the printer is powered on, has ink / toner, and that there are no alerts on the printer’s control panel. Note: If you cannot clear an alert on the printer's control panel, stop here and check the printer's documentation or contact the manufacturer for support.
Ensure the printer is properly connected to a USB port on the Mac or AirPort base station / Time Capsule. If the printer is a network-capable printer, make sure that it is properly connected to your home network.
Use Software Update to find and install the latest available updates. If an update is installed, see if the issue persists.
Open the Print & Scan pane or Print & Fax (Snow Leopard) pane in System Preferences.
Delete the affected printer, then add the printer again.
If the issue persists, try these additional steps:
Reset the printing system, then add the printer again.
If the issue still persists, reset the printing system again. Download and install your printer's drivers. Then, add the printer again.
Contact the printer vendor or visit their website for further assistance.

What does this mean and how do I fix it: "The following warnings and errors were found during the validation of the current project: - There appears to be a broken asset in your project. Correct this problem before burning this project."
It means that iDVD has found a problem with one of the movies added to the project. Did you edit the movie after it had been added to the project.
Create a new project and add your assets, movies, slides, etc. again and follow this workflow to help ensure the best quality video DVD:
Once you have the project as you want it save it as a disk image via the File ➙ Save as Disk Image menu option. This will separate the encoding process from the burn process.
To check the encoding mount the disk image and launch DVD Player and play it. If it plays OK with DVD Player the encoding was good.
Then burn to disk with Disk Utility or Toast at the slowest speed available (2x-4x) to assure the best burn quality. Always use top quality media: Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums.
