I am running out of storage on my iPad and iPhone... I have purchased space on iCloud... I want to know what I put out on iCloud and how to get it there. Thanks you!

iCloud is for syncing documents between your devices, other than your back ups, you cannot put data into iCloud and then remove it from your phone.

Are you trying to change one of the system level folder icons (so that every folder of that type uses your new icon) or specific folder icons for folders you have created?
The first requires special techniques that modify system level resources & is not recommended unless you know exactly what you are doing.

Im looking to get some external terabytes and move data or files from my internal drive to the external drive, i was wondering what has to stay on the computer to function still and what can me moved if not all of the files on the internal drive. i know i can move the videos and pictures, but what about program data or files or whatever may be nedded to run all of the apps and programs i have on my computer. if i could get some insight, it would be greatly appreciated.

2. You can remove data from your Home folder except for the /Home/Library/ folder.
3. Visit The XLab FAQs and read the FAQ on freeing up space on your hard drive.

You must Empty the Trash in order to recover the space they occupied on the hard drive.
You should consider replacing the drive with a larger one. Check out OWC for drives, tutorials, and toolkits.
Try using OmniDiskSweeper 1.8 or GrandPerspective to search your drive for large files and where they are located.

You can load a file app, eg filebrowser onto the ipad and read and write files off the TC.. that is about it.

How can I manage all my e-mail in the cloud?

I am interested in managing all my e-mail in the cloud, even those mails I have already archived in my Mac.
I am interested in manage my messages through all my devices (iMac, iPadf, iPhone, Macbook Pro etc.)
iCloud only offers up to 50 Gb. My archived mail is 25 Gb so far. My current mailbox is 7 gb so far and growing
I have been thinking use iCloud Mail, but I don't know if I would be able to upload all my archived messages so I can manage them

If you need more space, use a different email service. The maximum iCloud account is 55 GB.

You have to store the music or movies on your device to listen to or watch them. Music and movies purchased from the iTunes store is already in iCloud (but not stored in your iCloud account) as it can be redownloaded from the iTunes store if necessary. Movies from Flixter cannot be stored in iCloud, and music not purchased from theiTunes store can only be stored in iCloud if you subscribe to iTunes Match.
If you need to free up space on your device, import your purchased media to your iTunes library if it isn't already there by connecting your device to your computer, opening iTunes and going to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases. Then sync something off your device to free up space.

After installinf ios6 I lost all contacts, I could not get them back so I hit restore. This restored the phone to 4 months back. The phone did not give me the option to restore from the cloud. is there anyway I can now restore from the cloud?

At this point the used the last backup I performed on the computer 5 months ago. I never had the oppertunity to restore from the cloud. Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings. This will erase your phone. Then you will go through the setup screens again as you did when your phone is new, and when given the option, select Restore from iCloud Backup.

Normally, historical byte contains information about the life cyle state of the card, i.e. when the card is pre-personalized or personalized, etc.? This is the intent of the historical bytes, but again it is upto the smart card vendor to put the type of the data in it.

You can put any music on your iPod as long as you have authorized your computer to do so under iTunes and that the music in a iPod-compatible format.
