What am I doing wrong? Newbie trying to learn advanced actions

I'm really hoping somebody can help me with this. I was hired on to my present job to learn Captivate and create quizzes. The thing is, a lot of the quizzes involve looking at screen-grabs for an answer. Before I came, the quiz-builders were basically using the forward and back keys for functionality, but one of my first assignments was, "Get the screen-grab to appear on the same slide as the question."
I figured out how to do that by doing a rollover slidelet...only there doesn't seem to be a way to add a slidelet to one of the default quiz slides. In addition, we need the option for partial scoring. Either way, all of this led me to Lilybiri's wonderfully educational posts on how to create custom questions, which involve advanced actions.
So I rolled up my sleeves and got the Extended Radio Buttons widget from Captivate Dev. I'm using Captivate 5.5, I've got 4 possible answers and one correct answer. Three buttons on the slide: Submit, a nextOK and a nextVOID. Submit brings up an advanced action that calls nextOK if the answer is correct, which reports 1 point. If the answer is incorrect, nextVOID is supposed to be called and doesn't report anything. I can get the right answer to show, but when the answer isn't right, I can click the "Next" button to my heart's content, and nothing happens.
If this were photoshop or another program I know, I'd know where to go and what to do to try and trouble-shoot this problem, but I am just completely stumped. Can somebody please tell me if I'm a) taking the completely wrong approach or b) on the right track and I just need to add this little tweak I would never have thought of?

I see that you have only one decision, what will happen if the condition results in False? I cannot see the Else portion of the decision.

What am I doing wrong here trying to deploy forms?

I am trying to deploy forms for the first time, but it's not
working. I would love to hear anyone's advice on what I am
doing wrong. Here are the steps that I did to try to get them
deployed using OAS 4.0.7.1.0 and Developer 6 Server. Please let

file called forms60cart.htm >> I changed these
codebase=forms60code ,code=oracle.forms.engine.Main,
serverport=5555, serverArgs module=emp.fmb (which template ones
should I be modifying)
6) put this new htm file into my orant/webhtml directory
7) I get the requested url was not found when I call up

form listner port 5555, or should it be the one that is
generated from opening forms server listener from the start
menu. is that the default port 80?

you can use any existing listener.

and oas indicates 9000 as default forms listener port,
if there is no specification. you can use 9001,9002...
I recommend to specify this in your html file
as serverport.

What am I doing wrong when trying to create a floating field?

I am trying to create a floating field that is 'connected' to a global Text field. To my opinion I followed all instructions as in the help file, but it doesn't seem to work. Anyhow, the information I type in the text field does not pop-up in the text. I have setup the floating field as follows:
Type = Text field
Appearance = none (I do not want a box or something around the text)
Field format = plain text
Presence = hidden (excluded from layout)
Value = calculated (read only); I have tried all other options too, but nothing seem to work
Calculation script
Binding = global (and name is the name as used for the text field)
I have used another text field that is connected to the same text field as referred to above and that works just fine.
What am I doing wrong?
Can anyone help me out here?

Under Form Properties/Defaults, you need to change "Choose Target Version" to "Adobe and Adobe Reader 9.1 or later". Save the change, and floating fields should work now.

What am i doing wrong in,trying to copy from iTunes

Simply put I've transferred 50 + documents to iTunes from pages in PDF format, then deleted them from the ipad, they show up in in iTunes, under the pages app in the app section. They're stored on my computer in the iTunes folder under books. After plugging in iPad, waiting for it to recognize the iPad, and navigating to the pages app, in the app section. I then click on sync or apply. Go through the sync process but it doesn't show it processing those particular PDFs. If I open the iPad, while plugged in or not, open pages, click on copy from iTunes, all the documents in PDF format are visible but I can't import or select any of them, there just there unhighlighted or dim. the only document I can copy to iTunes is a .doc formatted page. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

R&R: what am i doing wrong?

I have created R&R on my external USB disk. It completed successfully. When i insert the USB Disk, Windows mounts cbd_drive (E. There are boot and factoryrecovery folders and usb.tag and winRE.wim files.
When i boot up my system with the USB disk inserted, press F12 on post, select the external USB disk and press enter i am seeing a black screen with a blinking cursor in the top left of the screen. Nothing happens.
I tried making the partition bootable with fdisk and tried making it active with diskpart but i still only get the blinking cursor.
What am i doing wrong herre?

You don't need R&R to create the factory media. I was only investigating this from an R&R perspective since you said you had R&R in your original post.
I don't know what could be wrong except that maybe there are problems booting your specific USB device. What kind of device is it - a USB memory key or a USB HDD - and what brand? Not every memory key is compatible for the purposes of booting, so do you have another device you can try?

ICloud not pushing apps between iPad and iPhone what am I doing wrong

I have a new iPad2 and a new iPhone4. I put iOS5 on both of them. My understanding of this was when you purchased an app on one device it would push to your other devices. I did this and the apps do not push to my other device. I use the same Apple ID for both if that matters. I set up iCloud on both devices, turned everything "on" and created an @me account. I believe you are misunderstanding. You don't sync apps between iPad and iPhone, and iCloud has nothing to do with any of this. There is a setting in Settings -> Store where you can set each device to automatically download NEW apps, meaning that when you buy a new app on one device, the other automatically downloads it. However, this is for new downloads only.
For your existing apps, you can simply connect each device to your computer and move the desired apps to it in iTunes. Or you can go to the App Store and re-download those apps.

I am trying to burn a CD from a playlist in iTunes. I set everything up, and then when it tries to burn, it cancels the burn right away, and gives me the error code: 4251. What am I doing wrong?

Okay, so I wanted to burn a CD to play on players in the house. The songs on my playlist are from CDs that I own and imported into my iTunes. Here are the steps I've taken:
1. I created a playlist
2. Selected File > Burn Playlist to Disc...
3. My Burn Settings are as follows: Maximum Possible Speed (I have tried all the other speeds as well with the same result), Audio CD (No gaps between songs), Use Sound Check is selected, Include CD Text is selected (I have also tried unselecting these two options).
4. Then I clicked Burn
5. Within a couple of seconds "Cancelling Burn" shows up in the window at the top of the screen, and a box pops up that says: The attempt to burn a disc failed. An unknown error occurred (4251).
I have tried different CDs, I have changed all the settings in the Burn Settings box, and I get the same result over and over again. I researched the error 4251, and it refers to a problem with importing songs from a CD. This is totally irrelevant since I'm not trying to import, I'm trying to burn. This is a blank CD, and it is a CD-R. These CDs are off a tower I purchased less than a month ago, and have had absolutely no problem burning other things to these CDs. I really don't want to have to re-import these songs to Windows Media Player or another application just so I can burn what I want onto a CD, but this is almost the point I am at.
iTunes certainly isn't helping me much at this point, and I would appreciate any feedback into what I am possibly doing wrong in trying to create a CD.

I have Windows 7 on a Dell. Open and play iTunes in the compatability mode and use Windows XP (service pack 2). Disregard any messsages to disable the compability mode. This has worked for me. I have also reinstalled iTunes and played with burn speeds etc. These ideas did not work. Compatability mode works.

Also keep in mind which formats can be added:
You can add audio files that are in AAC, MP3, WAV, AIFF, Apple Lossless, or Audible.com (.aa) format. If you have unprotected WMA content, iTunes for Windows can convert these files to one of these formats.

Nobody can tell you anything without knowing exact site and server specs, but I would suspect that naming the folder "html" wasn't the brightest of ideas, since that's usually a default (invisible) folder name existing somewhere on the server and the user not having privileges to overwrite it.

You probably put Midi loops (green) on audio tracks, and audio loops (blue) on Midi tracks.

You must initiallly activate iCloud from an IOS device or a Mac. You cannot inititally activated from a PC.
