So I'm rly new to Mac and usually when I access Youtube on PC, I dont have such pop up saying:

System Preferences > Flash Player
Click the "Storage" tab at the and then press "Local Storage Settings by Site" button.
In this computer s.ytmg.com is listed with 0 KB storage and "Allow" set by default.
There is a "Close" button at the bottom the dropdown.
You can allow or deny the request to increase the storage.
I do not know what s.ytmg.com is doing here.

Start up in Recovery mode. When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select

I am trying to turn Photo Stream on - on my Mac when I get to the space where you are supposed to click on the Photo Stream icon -- the icon is not highlighted and when I click on it nothing happens --- what should I do?
the space that I am referring is the "screen" that pops up after I go to Apple icon - select System Preferences - the iCloud screen pops up and you are supposed to be able to click on the Photo Stream icon to turn Photo Stream on. Well, the icon "Photo Stream" is not highlighted and has no check box so that I can select it to get to the screen that will let me turn Photo Stream on.

I need to disable popup blockers on my iPad 2. But when I go to the security settings it won't let me disable it. It won't even let me click on the button at all. What am I suppose to do ???

Restoring ipod and it say's can't find software and use a cd-rom if necessary. My ipod is stuck on the connect to itunes screen and wont do anything. What am i supposed to do?
Please help, i will be very gratefulyou can do is go to ijailbreak.com then select downloads section.......scroll down and see the latest version of ipod touch second generation is available for download.....when it gets downloaded connect your iPod to itunes or keep it connected then hold option and click restore (mac) search the software by writing in search "iPod" a thing with white cube will show up if it is the file you just downloaded click it and wait for itunes to do its work......you can ask more if you are on windows

I just bought an iMac. Since there is no DVD with the OS in the box, what am I supposed to do if I have a problem?
Do I have to pay to get a copy of Mountain Lion? I know it's not that pricey but still when you pay such a price shouldn't it be included? New to iphone and first time using the web I get a message that I can't view a page because Apple blocks Adobe Flash. There seems to be some big story behind this, but what are you supposed to do to view those sites? Sorry if there is an obvious answer somewhere but I'm muddling my way through all of this!
Thanks,Nothing unless they have an HTML only option you can click on the bottom of the page. However a page that requires flash only is most likely that of a company or business with heavy marketing content. Most websites with useful content either don't base their entire homepage on flash or have a mobile version for smartphones. So if you're visiting company or movie websites just do it on your computer. Apple and now adobe considers that the battery hit for flash animations is not worth it for phones. Most flash content is pure advertising rubbish anyway. I always install Adblock on all my browsers and barely see any flash except for videos and websites where the flash is not advertising.

So what am I supposed to do with a .msp file? It has no file association under Windows 7, yet Adobe points users who wish to patch their current version of Acrobat 9 Pro to a web page with download links to .msp files.

No, that's not true. Windows Installer Service is active and running as a service.
There simply is no file association with MSP. How about you creating a text file using NOTEPAD and naming the file with a .MSP file extension. Then go to MY COMPUTER and double click on the .MSP file. Does Windows recognize the file type, or does it ask you to select a program to run the .MSP file with?

what am i supposed to do when my mac says it's in the not charging state and says that the battery is holding a significantly lower charge than normal?
Go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac, then click on More Info (and then System Report if you are running 10.7 Lion or 10.8 Mountain Lion), then select Power from the left hand column of the System Profiler. Copy and paste the Battery Information from the top of the page back here.

Why isn't comcast listed as a tv provider? what am I suppose to do?
We watch the History channel app all the time and there are locked episodes for various shows. It tells me to go to www.history.com/activate and choose my tv provider. I have Comcast......the largest cable tv provider in the country....and its not listed! What am I suppose to do? Is there a different company name I should click on?
I believe that Comcast/Xfinity subscribers are out of luck, as they've not chosen to support the app.

I am attempting to update to the new os x mavericks and while completing the download it prompts me to choose a disk. I have chosen the only option I am provided and am then told that the update cannot be installed on "untitled 1" what am I supposed to do?

Hi, to get your iPhone 4 back to normal, here're two ways for you.
1. Use Dr.Fone for iOS. The free trial version can fix iPhone screen of death. The free trial version can do that, you don't have to pay.
Just download and install this software on your computer and connect your iPhone 4 to computer with a USB cable. When it detects your iPhone 4 is abnormal, click Restart the device to get your iPhone 4 to be normal.
2. Use iTunes to fix it.
Step 1. Make sure that the latest iTunes is installed on your computer.
Step 2. Plug into a USB cable to connect your iPhone4 to computer.
Step 3. Press and hold the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time for about 10s.
Step 4. 10 seconds later, release the sleep/wake button. But continue to hold the home button until a message comes out, saying "iTunes has discovered an iPhone 4 in recovery mode, you must restore this iPhone before it can be used with iTunes".
Step 5. Click your iPhone 4 in the left sidebar to show the device control panel on the right. Then, click Summary.
Step 6. Go to Backups section and click Restore Backup.... In the drop-down list, choose a backup file and restore to your iPhone 4 -

You're right - it is never a good idea to click on links sent in an email unless you are absolutely certain they are legitimate, and that is only becoming more difficult as spammers and phishing attempts are getting better every day. Having no association with Verizon is all the more reason to simply delete the thing.
Next, by supplying your email address all you did was confirm to whatever site was sending you this spam that your email address was legitimate. Again, when in doubt just delete the email and forget you ever saw it.

The good news is that is highly unlikely. The bad news is that your email address might be used as the "from" address for spam sent to others, and that you are only more likely to get more spam from the phony Verizon site as well as every other potentially malicious operators.
The best advice would be to simply abandon that email address, but if you can live with the previous potential concerns it would be overkill. I would recommend changing your passwords for financial institutions (banks, credit cards and so forth) as well as your email account or accounts. That is simply good practice whether or not you did what you did.
As far as any malware is concerned, again that is unlikely, but make sure you run Software Update to get all Apple's latest updates. -

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.
