What Apps can help me afford to communicate from Great Britain to the USA while I am traveling in GB for 10 days. Would like to be able to text, phone, and surf on internet.

FaceTime (video and audio, or audio alone) is free.
Messages (SMS/MMS or iMessage) is free.

I remember using maps for public transportation before i start driving and it was pretty godd. There are lots of public transit information apps in the App Store. A search for "public transit" or "public transportation" should turn them up. What you might find useful would depend on where you'd be using it. I've used HopStop.

HT1349 Many times I want to see a particular video, and my iPad will tell me I need flash. From what I have read apple software does not use flash. My question is what app can I purchase for my iPad that will make flash videos work?

Many times, while I am surfing through the Internet a particular web page will have a video, which requires Flash. iPads do not use Flash. So my question is, what app can I get from the app store will help me views these videos?

I did a quick search here and came up with a couple, the better of the two appears to be "Photon Flash Web Browser".
As with any app, read the reviews and decide for yourself. It may or may not work with the sites you need.

Adobe is a company, not a file format. What format are the attachments? PDF? Flash? The former should open without any problem. The latter will not work on your iPad as there is no Flash plug in for iOS.

That is the photography plan, if you want more programs you need the full CC plan.

Google it. There are many from the top level 'Roxio Toast' down to free burning apps such as 'Burn'. Depends on how much you wish to spend and the quality and presentation of the DVDs you wish to make.

You can only download Apps that require iOS 3.1.3 or later. If it states a later version of iOS you are out of luck. Just make sure that you check this requirement before downloading an app.

Sounds like you actually have a 1st generation as those cannot update beyond iOS 3.1.3.

On the left hand margin you can see products based on field, Audio/Video, Gaming, Graphic Design, Photography, etc.
If you have a fulll membership you can download any that are included that interest you.

Dell has some really great drivers -- for Windows and Linux. But none for any version of Mac OS X.
LinuxPrinting.org does not llist that as a printer supported by any of their drivers -- not even badly supported.
