Hi all, just got a touch gen 1 off ebay (3.3.1), what apps can i download for it?
You can only download Apps that require iOS 3.1.3 or later. If it states a later version of iOS you are out of luck. Just make sure that you check this requirement before downloading an app.

Many times, while I am surfing through the Internet a particular web page will have a video, which requires Flash. iPads do not use Flash. So my question is, what app can I get from the app store will help me views these videos?
I did a quick search here and came up with a couple, the better of the two appears to be "Photon Flash Web Browser".
As with any app, read the reviews and decide for yourself. It may or may not work with the sites you need. -

Not many. At this point, many applications focus on the current version of software, which is iOS 6.0.1. You might have to find out for yourself to see which ones are compatible, but you may be out of luck for many. Also, you have a first generation iPod touch. It's been 5 years since that was released, and many apps have updated at least hundreds of times. There is luck, however; larger games can possibly still support your version. Also, if you're in the App Store on the iPod touch, go to the bottom of the app page and see what version it supports. I hope this helped.

I will take another approach .....
If you use Automatic Downloads and you are downloading on another iOS device - those apps will download to the iPad as well. You cannot select only certain apps to download across devices - unless of course you turn off Automatic downloads.
Now that's two different interpretations of your post. Perhaps you can explain exactly what you want to know. -

I'd still prefer to keep separate user accounts. I never had any issues like this before. The only time I started having a problem was when I was just trying to force empty the trash a few months ago. I came on here looking for a solution and someone posted a way to empty the trash using the terminal. Before then, I hadn't used the terminal for anything--it was just another app in my utilities folder. (None of this has anything to do with having separate user accounts. Plenty of people with kids make second and third user accounts on their laptops so that multiple people can use one laptop, having more than one user on a laptop is not very difficult.) But thank you, I'll try that out and see if it works!

Before you can download free apps:
1. Make sure you are using IOS 7 (ignore)
2. Make sure your iPad is registered in My Support Profile.

Sounds like you actually have a 1st generation as those cannot update beyond iOS 3.1.3.

If you are familar with the Numbers Budget Template it has two tabs 'Budget' and 'Transactions'. If you use the template as it is designed when you input expenses on the transaction tab it will automatically add that amount into the selected category
