What are acceptable battery condition values

I've seen quite a few other questions about battery conditions, but many of them refer to a battery being x% of capacity.
Firstly, how do I find this value for may battery?
Secondly, I have an 15" MBP that I bought about April last year. According to the System Information display, I get the following data:
Battery Information:
Battery Installed: Yes
First low level warning: No
Full Charge Capacity (mAh): 1433
Remaining Capacity (mAh): 1433
Amperage (mA): 23
Voltage (mV): 12571
Cycle Count: 43
AC Charger Information:
Connected: Yes
Charging: No
My second question (related to the first) is what should the 'Full Charge Capacity' figure be? Where can I find out this type of information?
Thanks
Susan

Full charge capacity for a new 60W battery (as found in the 15" MBP) is around 5500 mAh. Programs like iStat Pro and CoconutBattery divide 5500 by your current full charge capacity to give a battery 'health' percentage - so yours is 26%, which is terrible.
Based on the readings below, your battery appears to be prematurely failing. Apple states a battery should maintain 80% (i.e. >4400 mAh) of it's capacity for 300 cycles.
Apple extended the warranty to two years from date of purchase for all Core Duo machines (nothing said about C2Ds, though - but since you bought in April 2006 you have a Core Duo MBP). That is stated at the bottom of this page.
Be sure you have installed Battery Update 1.2 (see the link above), and calibrated your battery recently. Then, call AppleCare - they should send out a replacement battery.
Hope this helps...

  • What are high and low values in sharepoint 2013 user permissions?

    So I hit this api:
    http://win-a3q7ml82p8f/sharepoint_site/_api/web/roledefinitions/
And got the different high and low values. But I am not clear with what they mean:
    For eg:
    High: 176, Low: 138612833
    and
    High: 176, Low: 138612801
So for different values of Low how does it change the permissions?
For 176 its binary is 10110000. So looking at this table here: http://www.dctmcontent.com/sharepoint/Articles/Permissions%20and%20Mask%20Values.aspx
I can understand that 176 would mean the following set of permissions:
    DeleteVersions
    OpenItems
    ApproveItems
But what's confusing me is, that user has OpenItems permissions but not ViewListItems permission? Am I wrong in understanding this?
Also how does the value of Low change the overall user permissions?
Note: I looked at this answer: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/sharepoint/en-US/9d6df168-e8f5-4323-8c34-0646c03eff68/rest-api-what-are-high-and-low-in-effectivebasepermissions-and-getusereffectivepermissions?forum=sharepointdevelopment
But honestly I cant understand what that means. Can someone help please?

  • What are the license conditions for the customer ?

What is the license agreement for the customer to use Beehiveonline ? Is it similar as the OUM Customer model copied below? thanks Francis
OUM Customer Program: The OUM Customer Program allows customers to obtain copies of the method for their internal use by contracting with Oracle for a services engagement of two weeks or longer. Customers who have a signed contract with Oracle and meet the engagement qualification criteria as published on Customer tab of the OUM Website, are permitted to download the current release of OUM for their perpetual use. They may obtain subsequent releases published during a renewable, three-year access period.

    Hi,
We do not have a license requirement for BeehiveOnline as this is a service provided by oracle for Oracle customers, partners etc. to allow them to work more efficiently with Oracle. It is not a system that the customer can control as the groups are maintained by the Oracle, contact.
We rely on the normal terms and conditions that all users sign up to when they create an oracle.com website account.
So in short - it is a free-to-use service licensed under the same agreement as the normal oracle.com websites acount.

  • What are exact calling conditions for TURN proxy?

    Hi,
I have continued exploring how to set up a TURN proxy.
I am using reSIProcate.1.4 as a starting point.
Now I have deployed this product on a server, specified RTMFPTURNProxy=ip-addr in mm.cfg, and blocked outbound UDP to the peer I am talking to.
Now, I don't see any attempt of my app to visit the proxy.
I am using Wireshark to monitor the network.
    What could be the reason?
Under what conditions will Flash 10 attempt to access peer via the proxy?
I am now working in the blind... please give me some clue. Thanks.
    - Frans

in the log, i see entries that look like (trimming some stuff out):
    Received stun message: 104 bytes
    stun magic cookie not found.
    Turn Remote Address = 76.74.170.78:10000
Successfully parsed StunMessage: STUN Indication: Send, id 1111804880114189070411418907041-17104569751
    TurnAllocation sendDataToPeer: clientLocal=[UDP 0.0.0.0:3478] clientRemote=[UDP 84.27.132.206:51033] requested=[UDP 0.0.0.0:49152] peerAddress=[UDP 76.74.170.78:10000]
this is a TURN send indication, which makes a UDP packet get sent.  in this case, it's sending to 76.74.170.78:10000.  as of TURN draft 8, sending a packet like this is supposed to enable a return permission, so that packets coming from that "peer address" will be allowed back to the TURN client.  however, almost immediately after this send indication in the log file, you'll see
Read 52 bytes from udp relay socket (76.74.170.78:10000):
    sendDataToClient RemotePeer info not found - discarding data: clientLocal=[UDP 0.0.0.0:3478] clientRemote=[UDP 84.27.132.206:51033] requested=[UDP 0.0.0.0:49152] peerAddress=[UDP 76.74.170.78:10000]
so even though it just sent data to that address and is getting back a reply, AND it can look up the TURN client, it doesn't think it's seen anything from that address before, so it discards this packet rather than relaying it to the client (Flash Player).
that and complaining about "stun magic cookie not found" is bogus.  i'm looking at the source code and a packet dump right now, and we're sending the "STUN magic cookie" from RFC 5389 (0x2112a442 in network byte order) just as it was defined for TURN draft 8.
it feels like there are bugs in that TURN server.

  • What are acceptable speeds?

After doing a speed test we are only getting download 1.45mbps & upload of 0.56mbps

welcome to the BT community forum where customers help customers and only BT employees are the forum mods
in order for the forum members to help please can you post the adsl stats from your router may need to 'show detail' to get all stats (if hub enter 192.168.1.254 in your browser and navigate to adsl or use a-z, if netgear enter 192.168.0.1) and run  btspeedtester  (MAC users may have problems). when first test completes then run diagnostic test and post the results .
are you connected directly via a filter to the NTE5 master or test socket or to somewhere else? Is the master the only phone socket in your home?
Have you tried the quiet line test? - dial 17070 option 2 - should hear nothing - best done with a corded phone. if cordless phone you may hear a 'dull hum' which is normal

Then because of this i developed the same application with the help of the Command buttons it was working. It was not all looking nice as like previous.
can anybody please suggest me some solution to this problem.
Thanks in advance for your positive reply

    key KeyValue Emulator Value
    left soft -21 21
    Middle soft -23 23
    Right soft -22 22
    earth nothing nothing
    mail nothing nothing

    left Arrow -2 2
    Right Arrow -5 5
    Center(betwee Arrows) -20 20
    make call -10 -10
And usual values for the 1 to 9 the for * and # as faloows

    # 35 35
I am giving the information basing on the values i am getting from the real device.I am astonished why the values are differ from the Emulator.
Please give me the solution for developing the Application to Motorola V3.

  • What are acceptable BaseValues for plots for which fills are desired?

I am trying to set the BaseValue property for a Plot on a graph. I can successfully set the value to 0, but I do not know how to set it to either +Infinity or -Infinity. I have tried using DBL_MAX or -DBL_MAX, but these do not work. Can anyone set me straight?
    Thanks in advance.

The Measurement Studio graph for Visual C++ does not currently support +/- infinity. Your best bet for now would be to use numeric_limits::min() and numeric_limits::max(), although I think these are the same as -DBL_MAX/DBL_MAX.
You may have noticed that the BaseValue property drop-down on the Plots tab of the property pages has values for -Infinity and +Infinity, but these will just set the BaseValue to numeric_limits::min() and numeric_limits::max().

  • What are acceptable measurement fluctuations for the SCXI-1126?

    Greetings,
We are using an scxi-1126 module in a PXI-1011 chassis. The range for channel 0 is set at 2 kHz. The channel is configured for a threshold voltage of 0.1 with a hysterisis of 0.05. We are injecting a 1 kHz sinewave, 800 mV pp signal into the channel. The SCXI-1126 reading is fluctuating by as much as 0.6 Hz at all frequencies (below 2k). We have tried changing the window, signal levels and various other suggestions from the NI website with no success. Should the reading be more stable or are the fluctuations the result of the F-V conversion process? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

    Hello,
Please look at the Specifications section of the SCXI-1126 User Manual (pg. A-3) at the following link:
    http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/321844c.pdf
From the Accuracy Table for a 2 kHz range, the accuracy a year after purchase should be 0.0418% ± 0.308 Hz. Which for a 1000 Hz signal would be 1000 * 0.000418 + 0.308 Hz = 0.726 Hz in the worst case. 0.6 Hz would fall within the spec'd range.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
    Sincerely,
    Sean C.

  • What are acceptable cpu temps.

    Hey guys,
I've never been able to monitor my cpu temp before and was wondering if my temps are in the normal range.
    idle: 40-45 C
    Converting DVD's to mpegs: 78-80 C
    Using Garage band: 65-70 C
    Safari:40-50 C
    Photo Booth:50-60 C
    Video Chat: 60-70 C
Are these about normal? pushing 80 seems pretty warm...

From many conversations we have had on this subject the temps you posted are normal. Mine usually runs 80º C to 85º C when streaming video.

  • What does "service battery" indicate?

I just saw that my battery condition is "service battery". Does this mean that I need a replacement, or is it safe to continue to use this battery? I just bought this computer less than 2 years ago and I have already needed to replace my hard drive and now my battery??

"Service Battery" usually does mean the battery needs replacement, though the message has sometimes been reported to come and go for a while before the battery's performance becomes unacceptably poor. I wouldn't ordinarily expect a two-year-old battery to need replacement, though.
What are your battery's Full Charge Capacity and Cycle Count as shown in System Profiler/System Report? And is this a 13", 15" or 17" MacBook Pro?

  • What are the condition value colours in sales oder  condition tab

    Hi SAP Guru's,
I would like to know how many colours is their in for pricing condition values in sales order. And kindly explain the colours functionality.
    Thanks&Regards
    Vikram.M

    hi,
    Here are the steps.
1.Create a Characteristic called ZColour(Standard SAP has a characteristic called colour.I did not use it.)
             Give your values.
             Say, Red  & Blue
2.Now create another characteristic called ZCol_surcharge
Give the description and go directly to Addnl Data Tab.Here in the table name Enter "SDCOM" and in the Field Name Enter "VKOND".The system will pick up the format from the Dictionary.
3.Now go to CT04 and change the Characteristic Zcolour.
Go to values tab and select RED.Goto Extras-> Object Dependencies->Editor and then select Procedure.
In front of 000010 Enter  $self.ZCol_surcharge='RED'.
Similarly Select Blue  and enter $self.ZCol_surcharge='BLUE'
3.Link both these characteristics to the Class(The class which you have attached the KMAT Material).
4.Go to VK11 and the Enter VA00.Then give the values RED and BLUE and enter the values.
5.Go to your order and Enter your material.
I think this is what you wnated..
