when we created a report we store the reports at what extension the reports are stored
For example in forms
binary are stored with .fmb
executable are stored with .fmx
text are stored with .fmt
Like wise with extension the reports are stored

We had developed reports a few years ago, including one that calls a Stored Procedure on an iSeries AS400 DB2 database. We upgraded our environments to Crystal Reports 2008 and BO XI 3.1. Now, the existing report that previously ran in the old environment is not running (note that the other SQL-based reports work without a problem, only this one which uses a store procedure is not working). I downloaded the report into my local Crystal Reports designer and tried to run it from there and I got the following error message:

This call will still work from on a SQL client running on a JDBC connection. Is there some problem with the new verion of BO and Crystal Reports with using the iSeries ODBC driver?...my issue was resolved by setting the ODBC.INI registry entry for AllowProcCalls from 0 to 1.

Friends are reporting that some emails to me are bouncing back. It is multiple folks with different email systems. I do still receive most emails (I think!) and there does not seem to be anything unique about the ones bouncing back to distinguish them from the ones that come through. They are not large, they don't have big attachments. What could be wrong?
Are you running low on storage in your icloud account?
On an iOS device, go to Settings>General>Usage to see how much "Storage" you have available on the device. Farther down the list is the available storage on iCloud.
On a mac, System Preference>iCloud. Look at the bar graph to see how much space you have used.
Also, the bounced back emails should include some error statements as to what the problem is. Can your friends report that to you? -

Aging refers to values in different time period ranges. Example, the customer (credit) aging report can look like this.
customer (credit) for current period, 0 to 30 days, 30 to 90 days, 90 to 120 days. This is the way aging is classified.

For P&L information, you may use 0FI_GL_6 datasource (or 0FI_GL_10 if you use ERP 5.0 version). This datasource reads the same information used in R/3 transaction f.01 (table glt0).

Design document is basically a document to say how the design is to be developed for a particular solution ex: FI it says what is the data fow and what are the data targets to be used and how data shld be stored for providing the client a solution they need.

i. From a reporting perpective, what does the finance department need from BI to say that BI is a worthwhile investiment?
ii. Does BI provide any of the answers provided in i. (above) through its business content objects? If so, can you discuss how BI provides each of the solutions? (I will apprecaite a discussion for the "finance team" and not neccessarily for the IT team)
iii. If all the requirements of a finance department are already available with a newly installed BI, then
what are the typical functions of a BI consultant to a finance department? i.e. why will a finance department find the need to bring in a BI consutant to advise them on how best to use BW in their environment?
iv. How does the above discussion pertain to CO. i.e. If your discussion above is strictly for FI, can you address i, ii, iii for CO?

Normally Financial reports needed for the customer will be P&L, Balance sheet, Cashflow statements and the AR, AP and also Controlling and the Turn over Ratios to know about the financial funding stage about their organization based on their functional requirements.

Better to talk to your FI CO team for this to understand better at ECC functional level to know what would be the best extractors that you can report on. BI content is already there for almost FI CO reports.

Though the Finance team has every Extractor at ECC side its only BI consultant who has to work on Modeling , Extraction, Reporting Part for BEx Reports. You have to Map the Fields even though its BI Content some of the Customized objects like Routines, Formulas would be there for each and every project .

This is the best way...and the simplest way....since it is a big question....just go Business content tab in RSA1 and there go to "query elements" option and cick on the option "select objects" this will give you all the standata BW queris based on all the BC cubes and it will not show self developed queries in you system.
So fo MM reports go to...Infoarea "Supply Chain Management"-> "Inventory Management"....here you will see all the cubes related to MM and the reports nased on that.
for FICO go to Infoarea FMCO Financial management and controlling.........
Similarly you can find for SD.
If you want to find the detailed information about all the queries .....you will have to search the help.sap.com witth the same name of the cubes and you will get various links explaining that.

Only <dir> Config_Mgr_CEN is properly populated with the correct set of the default folders.

What are Reporting Services SharePoint 2013 licensing requirements?

I have a SharePoint Enterprise 2013 farm of 2 WFE, 2 APP servers. And an 2012 SQL Enterprise server.
I need Reporting services to be on the farm.
I read all the SharePoint Farm servers running SSRS must have an SQL license, which seems excessive. I assume it stands as "Additional Software" from the Product Use Document in SQL. As long as the SQL server is licensed?
What are the licensing options, keeping in mind that there is an SSRS Add-on (which I believe is freely available), and an SSRS instance?
CheersSSRS instances require a SQL Enterprise or BI license, depending on how you want to license it. This license is separate from the SQL Database Engine if not running on the same server.

According to you, what are the best practices in report desing about layout, fonts and colors ?

It all depends that what type of report you are designing and what tool you are using - WebI or Crystal.
And in WebI, if it is cross tab or Tabular report etc.
One most important thing is that what is client requirement. May be client does not like which is best practice.
On the base of my personal experience I will create few demo reports using different options - layout, colors and fonts and show them to client so that they may decide.

So my question is then...
I want to create a APEX Report which will give me the following information.
1. Application and all the Pages associated with it, which I am getting from apex_applications and
apex_application_pages. This is OK
2. List of all the Database Objects (Table/View) which the individual page is using, I mean relation between Page ID and database object. HOW to get that???.....(I want for each individual page, the list all the database objects (tables/views), which that page is using)
