What are patterns in BPM

Hi
BPM Patterns are designed by SAP by considering the frequent requirement.these patterns can be reused in the similar requirement rather than the developer designing it from the scratch....and you can find the patterns under SAP BASIS Software Component...
The following websites containing PDF & PPT documents BPM Patterns which will answer u'r question in detail with examples:

  • What are the dependent SCs to be added to the Track, to develop NW CE BPM

    Hello Gurus:
We are creating a track in a NW 70 SP17 system to be used for NW CE 7.1 Ehp1 SP03 applications, like Business Process
Management applications (Process Composer, Rules Composer). While creating the track, I chose the track template to be "Composite Application 7.1 (with Business Process Management)". And I added the following 14 dependent SCs to the development SC I added to the track.
    CAF01_0.SCA
    CAFMF01_0.SCA
    ENGFACADE01_0.SCA
    ENGINEAPI01_0.SCA
    EPBASIS01_0.SCA
    EPBASISAPI01_0.SCA
    EPBUILDT01_0.SCA
    ESF01_0.SCA
    FRAMEWORK01_0.SCA
    GPCORE01_0.SCA
    MMRSERVER01_0.SCA
    SAPBUILDT01_0.SCA
    VCFRAMEWORK01_0.SCA
    WDRUNTIME01_0.SCA
But when as a Developer when I try to create a DC of type Process Composer, that project type is dummied or disabled ???
Other project types like Composite Application, Web Dynpro etc are enabled and working fine.
    Question:
Is it enough to add corresponding dependent SCs related to Business Process Management ? If so what are those SCs ?
(ii) If I need to choose another track template like " Business Process Management Application for NetWeaver 7.1" which is also available, then how could I have DC project of type Composite Application ?
    Appreciate your help,
    Prasad Nutalapati

    Satish:
I am talking about creating DC projects of type 'Process Composer' for NW CE BPM applications, with in a track I created using a certain template I mentioned. How would that relate to NW Dev Studio ?
To answer your point, when I try to create a local DC project of type 'Process Composer', yes I was able to, no problem. Because the NWDS is from the same CE Server installation files (7.1 Ehp 1 SP00).
    Thanks,
    -Prasad

  • What are the best practices in design patterns?

What design patterns are likely popular?

  • What are Apple doing to compensate for the damage caused by the iPhone 4 bumper?

I have noticed damage caused by the bumper.
It is NOT foreign object but caused by the hard plastic on the inside of the bumper
(plese do not come out with rubbish like steel is harder than plastic) I am not stupid and I know that the damage matches the pattern of the bumper skeleton.
What I want to know is when are Apple going to deal with this and replace my phone?
I dare not go to the so called Genius bar in Milton Keynes as they have adopted a Dixons style "fob off" attitude and I will become rather angry with them.

Re: What are Apple doing to compensate for the damage caused by the iPhone 4 bumper?
15-Jun-2011 15:15 (in response to sfrommilton keynes)
o Steel is harder than plastic, so the bumper has not caused the damage.
      - You call it rubbish
      - The world calls it physics
You are totally wrong.  Please go back to School.
    o You can deny physics
      - but that will not change reality.
You can go to School but that wont change reality.
o Your description of your Genius bar is incomprehensible
      - I recommend you go to the Genius bar leaving the chip on your shoulder at home and tactfully explain what you think is your issue.
I recomend you find a day job ans stop TROLLING peoples threads.
      - I've never had them fail me or be the least bit confrontational.
      - But if you act like a jerk then I couldn't predict what would happen
Yeah because you were there.  Are you having some kind of relationship with the company?  I think you sleep with an Apple under your pillow.
Finally I am a consumer who has paid for a product that is not living up to expectations.  The plastic skelton is hard and abrasive (I know what that means as I went to School) Abrasion's are marking the product.
This is not the only time this has been reported and as such I have no issue with particles entering the bumber.  This has happened from the start (when I used Apples stupid bumber case)
Please don't patronise or TROLL others threads.

  • What are the "Add to Loop Library" requirements for creating automatically conforming loops?

I am trying to create my own loops that conform to the tempo and key of a song. I have made several loops in this way by selecting a region that is exactly 4 bars, for example, and then selecting "Add to Loop Library". If the sample is cut correctly, the "Type:" field is enabled which allows you to make it a Loop and therefore have it automatically conform to the song tempo.
In the past I have made loops that were very long, up to 128 beats, for the purpose of making mashups using instrumental tracks that I want to conform to the song. I now can't seem to create a large loop but I am not sure why. I know it is possible, but I don't know the steps I took to get there.
What are the exact requirements that allow a loop to be added to the loop library while also conforming to song key and tempo?

In the past I have made loops that were very long, up to 128 beats
The longest loop I managed to save as "Loop" had 55 measures (220 beats, 203 bpm). Longer loops could only be saved as "One shot". And the loop had to be cut at the end, not simply be trimmed by dragging the end of the region. The tempo matters; for a slow song the loop can only have fewer measures.

  • What are the must have SAP componets req to publish MDM 7.1.03.86 on web

Can anyone explain to me what are the SAP components required for MDM 7.1.03.86 allowing me create a webpage front end to MDM 7.1 and create and publish my own screens?
Like many I am very new to the world of SAP.
There are many others in my own company with a vast knowledge of what are all the pieces needed to run almost anything
In SAP. One of the exceptions to this rule is SAP Master Data Management (MDM).
    We run:
    - SAP MDM version 7.1.03.86
    - A Windows 2003 server
    - Oracle 10.X.
    - 7.1 Import Manager
    - 7.1 Import Server
    - 7.1 Data Manager
    - 7.1 Syndication Server
    - I see reference to the 7.1 MDM Publishers but I donu2019t see the API in the way I have software loaded right now.
I would like to get to the point where I can create a web portal front end to the MDM product.
My problem is I canu2019t get anyone to give me a an answer as to what are the other pieced of software I would need to get
In an end to end solution. Starting with barebones and working up to the works!
Here is what I would like to be able to do:
    - Publish in a SAP Portal screens to the web. (SAP NetWeaver CE Portal, PI Portal ????)
    - Write code in Java, SQL, VB and more, save and test them. (SAP NetWeaver WebDynpro for Java ???)
    - create a web screen in the portal and publish to a Portal or URL. (SDK kit or Developer's kit Like: SAP NetWeaver
    Developer Studio ???)
    - It looks to me like the "SAP NetWeaver BPM" product is "Nice" to have but not required.
This is soo confusing, PLEASE help!
    Thank You
    Steve T

    Hi Steve
    Adding to Anu's response:
The prebuilt packages (worksets) cannot be used on a CE portal - only on a NW Enterprise Portal.
iView templates are also provided which allows you to put together your own pages and worksets. Again, these require the Enterprise Portal.
You don't have to use an SAP portal. You can use any webserver combined with Java code
(that makes use of the MDM Java API) to access the data (check out http://catalog.bd.com/ for a sample of this). Of course, this requires a lot more effort on your side.
"SAP NetWeaver BPM" amounts to NetWeaver CE. It is required if you want to make use of the WebDynpro components in new MDM releases.
Since you mentioned the MDM Publisher, if you want to simply publish "read only" data to a web front-end, you may be able to make use of the MDM Publisher together with Adboe InDesign.
Java code can make use of the MDM Java API. Windows development tools can make use of the MDM COM and MDM .NET APIs.
    HTH,
    Mark

  • What are the advantages..

    Hi friends,
can you please tell me <b>what are the advantages of using MVC?</b> because <b>i can use ABAP Objects without using MVC.</b>
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,
    Kannan.

    Hi Kanna,
For Dynamically componentised you need to use controller. In the main page you partition for what you want to present dynamically and then call controller as a response to the user. What the action you have take in case of Page flow logic(Event Handler) need to be placed in controller.
Using the MVC design pattern has the following advantages:
    ·        Structuring BSP applications is simplified, since the view is cleanly separated from the controller and the model.  This not only facilitates changing BSP applications, but also considerably improves their maintenance.
    ·        You have the option of generating program-driven layout. The HTML/XML output is therefore created by program code instead of a page with scripting.
    ·        Navigation using the <bsp:goto> element and call using the <bsp:call> element. The advantage of using <bsp:goto> navigation over redirect is that there is no additional network traffic. Furthermore, you remain in the same work process, which can have advantages for creating objects and memory space. The call using <bsp:call> element is more variable than adding them using INCLUDEdirective, since it is triggered at runtime.
With the call option using <bsp:call>, you can also distribute the user interface into components.
    ·        Optimized performance due to fewer redirects.
    ·        Intuitive and east-to-use interface for application development.
Main advantage of MVC is that you can keep these(Model View ,Controller) separately. If you need to change in logic you do not have to worry about presentation(View).

    Albert
