What are SAp Extension sets??

Hi all,
I'm doing a research about customizing in SAP and I've learnt about BC sets and their limitations. But...what are the Extension sets?? Are only predefined sets or can be created as the BC sets?? Are they similar to the BC sets??
Could anyone please give me some clue about them or provide me a link to this information??

Hi,
BC sets and Extension sets have nothing in common.
A BC set is a set of technical customisings as you said.
An extension set is a set of functional activities that you can activate with SPRO.
For exemple SAP R/3 4.70 has 2 releases of extension sets : 4.70 ext 1.10 and 4.70 ext 2.00.

Wouldn't the file then be found in the Trash?
Use the Finder to search by "Size" should help.

i am new in SAP and research about SAP products in university .
so i want to know what are sap products exactly.
i heard many names as products of SAP AG but i don't know
the diffrences.for instance i read ABAP ,SAP GUI,NETWEAVER
SAP business one,my SAP business suite,what are the use of this products.what should someone do to establish a complete system of sap.deos it need to have database?
to explain more i know that ORACLE CORPORATION have 4 major products:
1. DATABASE Server
2. APPLICATION Server
3. Developer Suite
4. Application e-business suite 11i
so plz write for me what are SAP AG products and thier use

There are a lot of SAP products, I wouldn't name them all, but I will give the basics.
1) Web Application Server, ABAP and/or JAVA. This is the basis for SAP applications.
2) SAP R/3 or SAP ERP. These are the applications in which most companies have installed. These applications run the day to day business functions. They run on the ABAP side of the WAS. The frontend end that the user uses to interact with the system is the SAPgui.
3) There are many other systems which compliment your R/3 implementation such as CRM, SRM, APO, etc.
4) Enterprise Portal, is an application which runs on the Java side of the WAS, this is a web based frontend which integrates SAP applications and non-SAP applications into one central place where the user can access all kinds of data.
There are many other products in SAP, these are just the major ones.
SAP supports many databases, such as Oracle, SQL, DB2.

SAP notes are nothing but the standard solutions given by SAP for most frequently faced problems and querries.
Also if any corrective measures to be taken for the problems are explained in SAP notes.

But you need login id for this.
The transaction code SNOTE is used to implement OSS Notes. With the SNOTE
transaction, it is no longer necessary to register ABAP objects such as report function
modules etc. manually. But data dictionary objects such as screens, tables need to
be modified manually by registering them in OSS system.
In order to use the transaction code SNOTE, the relevant transport which implement
this transaction in the system need to be transported. Please refer to the SNOTE

SAP Extension Sets

Hi,
I am trying to use BAPI_MATVAL_PRICE_CHANGE. However, this BAPI nees some configuration to be done before it can be used. This additional configuration is only available once EA-FIN Extension Set (Financials Extension) is activated.
I am aware that there is an alternative where you can update a separate config table to bypass activating the Extension Set, but I also need to implement OSS Note 0000605588 to fix a bug in the BAPI. Because the BAPI is associated with the Extension Set I cannot change the code unless it is activated - a bit of a Catch 22.
I know that Extension Sets contain extra functionality but does anyone know if this will affect the way existing functionality works?
Can you turn off Extension Sets once they have been activated (through SPRO)?
I have also heard that SAP will release Extension Set specific Support Packs. Is this correct?

Not sure about all your questions, but the performance assistant does not recommend de-activation:
<i>Do not deactivate a part of the SAP ECC Extension Set that has already been activated, since this can cause inconsistencies in your data. The enhancements made to the structure types mentioned above are also retained.</i>

It supports both files in .xml or .srf (at least I have opened both with the Screen Painter). My guess it supports any extension ... as long as the contents in the file have the right xml code on them.

What are the best settings to export a video and get best quality(high) in full hd 1080 ? in 4k ? and what would be the best setting to export animations/logo/intro and get best quality ?

i was wondering what were some good setting on garageband to help make my vocals sound good?

This is a quick-and-dirty setup for vocals.
Two disclaimers:
1. Even a "perfect" mix for one context will be the wrong mix for another. This is *only* a workhorse configuration and no more. Edit it to taste.
2. Other people may give you a "basic" template to work with which doesn't resemble this one at all, and both can be good. There's no one way to do this, so be open to all input.
- First, get a new track going. Make sure the inputs are set as they should be and the monitor is on.
- Go to the track's "edit" tab.
- Set the noise gate at an appropriate level. This might take a little bit of trial and error, as setting it too low (obviously) lets in hiss and setting it too high will block out quiet dynamics and the tail end of long notes. Experiment with it, as everyone will be different.
- Turn on Compressor. Set Threshold for max, set ratio for max, set attack all the way to the left (fast) and adjust gain to taste.
- Turn on Visual EQ. Use the high-mid band to add a little bump (about +5dB in the 2500Hz range). Then use the treble band to add a bit of "air" (about +5dB in the 12000Hz range. Depending on how it sounds you may want to play with the low-mid and bass bands to taste.
I find this is good for vocals that are buried in full-band arrangements (add reverb, echo and short reflection reverb to taste) and also for podcasts.

You may create a rectangle the size of the artwork and Object>Crop Area>Make, then Save for Web.

If you are on the trial version (assuming this is CC7) drag a clip from the Project window into the New Item Icon (lower right bottom of the window)
