What are SCMRWBS and SCMEMWCL for ?

Hello all,
I'm now filling the installation parameter sheet of SCM(APO) system.
This sheet has two paraemters whose content I'm not sure of.
That is, software units SCMRWBS and SCMEMWCL.
What are SCMRWBS and SCMEMWCL for ?
Do we need to install them while my project will use PP/DS and BP modules ?
And can we see whether these usage types installed or not via SAPGUI ?
I beg your help !
Thank you for your cooperation in advance.
Regards,

Hi Hideki,
SCMRWBS is for SCM Replenishment Workbench. If you are using F&R modules of mySAP SCM suite, then this component is neccessary.
Smilarly, SCMEMWCL is SCM Web Communication Layer for Event Management. Again this is part of mySAP SCM, but belongs to Event Management module.
As far as PP/DS is concerned these two components are not neccessary. However, these components may have some dependencies on other applications / modules. Please check with SAP for any specific inputs if you have any concern over installing them onto your system.
Thanks,
Rajesh

  • What are advantage and disadvantage for Physical Standy and Logical Standby

    HI,
What are advantage and disadvantage for Physical Standy and Logical Standby configuration?
    Thanks
    Ken

    Logical standby database
The key advantage for logical standby databases is that they're opened read/write, even while they're in
applied mode. That is, they can be used to generate reports and the like. It is indeed a fully functional
database. Also, additional indexes, materialized views and so on can be created.
However (this being a disadvantage) not all datatypes are supported.
Oracle (or more exactly the log apply services) uses the primary database's redo log, transforms them into
SQL statements and replays them on the logical standby database.
    Physical standby database
A physical standby database is a byte for byte exact copy of the primary database. This also means that
rowids stay the same in a physical standby database environment.
Oracle (or more exactly the log apply services) uses the primary database's redo log to recover the
    physical database.
A physical standby database might be opened read only; however, the received logs are in this case not
applied. When the logs are applied, the database is not accessible (it is then in a managed recovery state).

  • What are PROVIDER_URL and INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY for Sun iMQ

    Hi
Thank you for reading my post
I am trying to use sun MQ from outside the application server from an standalone client .
i want to access to some queue and process its message from the standalone client , but where ever i searched i can not find those two parameters , can some one give them to me ?
I need them to initiate the Context object

    Initial context factory is generally:
    com.sun.jndi.ldap.LdapCtxFactory
URL depends on how you set up your object hierarchy. e.g. It might look something like:
    "LDAP://myhost.mycompany.com:15200/ou=AdministeredObjects,ou=MessageQueue,dc=sfbay,dc=sun,dc=com";

  • How to find out what are the interfaces used for Job and Job Codes

    HI All,
I just wanted to know how do we find out what are the interfaces used for Job and Job codes .
    Thanks In Advance

    Hi,
Here is an idea for your request.
Basically you can create a simple query on multiprovider 0TCT_MC01.
Filter: you can use a variable for restriction of time ( calday, or calmonth) since you should be interested for a time period.
Choose following characters into your objects:
InfoProvider ( 0TCTIFPROV )  - you can create a variable for choosing infoprovider before query runs.
*Tp.[Type of BI Application Object] 0TCTBISOTYP  = filter this with 'QUERY' or whatever your need is.
*BI Application Object 0TCTBISBOBJ,  ( this will give you the name of the queries)
In key figures choose,  Count for BI Appl. (0TCTWTCOUNT).
    (number for query run)
    Create a condition , for top 20.
    Hope this helps.

    Benje001,
Right-click on the CWAI control on your form. Choose Properties. The first tab is the Channels tab. After you choose your device from the drop down box on the right, you can type in the Channels box which channel you want to use.
If you want to see a CWAI control that is already configured, all of the shipping examples will have this already done.
Also, if you have questions about any item on the CWAI (or any other NI ActiveX control) you can click the ? icon in the right corner of the properties page and then click on the item in the dialog that you need help with. This "What's this" help will describe that particular control on the dialog.
    Hope that helps!

  • What are the ports required for the Audio, Video and A/V conferencing when the following end points are enabled for QoS in Lync 2013 server?

    Hi All,
What are the ports required for the Audio, Video and A/V conferencing when the following clients are enabled for QoS in Lync 2013 server?
    Client Type
Port range  and Protocol required for Audio
Port range and Protocol required for
    Video
Port range and Protocol required for
    A/Vconferencing
    Windows Desktop   Client
    Windows mobile App
    Iphone
    Ipad
    Andriod phone
    Andriod Tablet
    MAC desktop client
    Please advise. Many Thanks.

Out of the box, 1024-65535 for all of the client ports.  :)
    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg398833.aspx
You'll want to tune your client ports a bit
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj204760.aspx as seen here, and then the client ports would use those ranges which is easier to set QoS markings.  I'm not sure the mobile clients respect that setting.
Elan's got the best writeup for Windows clients here:
    http://www.shudnow.net/2013/02/16/enabling-qos-for-lync-server-2013-and-various-clients-part-1/
However, the marking of the packets is the tricky part.  Windows can do it via Group Policy, but for the other clients you'll need to have the network specifically prioritize ports regardless of DSCP markings.  You have to do it based on ports
as the traffic could be peer to peer.

  • What are the optimal values for mac and arp timeout values

    Hi Guys.
What are the best values for "mac address-table aging-time" and "arp timeout" by following scenarios?:
    - single sg300-10 as layer3-switch with a maximum of 10 local (direct connected) hosts
    - and a 3750x-stack with 100 local hosts + hsrp with a other stack of the same sort
or for asa 5520 as internet gateway for 500 clients?
I use at the moment a mac aging-time from 300 seconds and a arp timeout from 3600 seconds.
    Is this o.k.?
    Thanks.

    Marvel.
As far as enhancing the CLI, it will of course be enhanced when new firmware releases provide new features. As far as making it more IOS-like, best to my knowledge, no.  The only other supported CLI on the SB switches are on the SX500 series and SX200E series which the CLI are all consistent. If you bought a SX500 series the commands are nearly identical minus the different feature sets.

They are only needed for firefox sync.

  • What are these and what are they useful for?: and

I have seen these symbols being used in Java: << and >>, what are they and what do they do?
    Thank you.

As DrQuincy asks how is this of use over multiplying
and dividing? In your processor there are often different instructions for shifting, multiplying, and deleteing. Typically the shifting instructions take less time to execute and so using the shifting operator will be faster than multiplying. This assumes the compiler doesn't recognize the situation and optimize it out though.
The >>,<<,>>>, &,|,and ^ operators are mainly useful when you need to deal with individual bits of data. For instance if you are talking to another system (thats not java) that uses a different method of storing numbers (little endian/big endian etc.), or doing something such as creating parity data for error correction. There are lots of things to do, but most a low level and its rare when you need to use them.
