  • What are the system requirements for downloading Lion 10.7?

What are the Mac Mini system requirements for downloading Lion OS X 10.7?

    Upgrading to Lion
If your computer does not meet the requirements to install Mountain Lion, it may still meet the requirements to install Lion.
You can purchase Lion by contacting Customer Service: Contacting Apple for support and service - this includes international calling numbers. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax.  It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. Save a copy of that installer to your Downloads folder because the installer deletes itself at the end of the installation.
         Lion System Requirements
           1. Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7,
               or Xeon processor
           2. 2GB of memory
           3. OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
           4. 7GB of available space
           5. Some features require an Apple ID; terms apply.

  • What are bandwidth requirements for FaceTime?

I can't get FaceTime to work. A 'Ping' check tells me that I've got 20Mb download and 1 Mb upload. Is this enough ?  What are bandwidth requirements for FaceTime?  If I've theoretically got a fast enough connection, then where is the restriction of bandwidth occurring?   How can I find out whether the problem is inside my computer, or on the net?

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select

from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
              View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen. Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Try to make a call. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.

  • What are the requirements for publishing an App for private distribution, not sale.

I need to create an App in English and 4 other languages for private distribution to individuals. What are the requirements for doing this please? I currently have a just a Single Edition license. Am I right in understanding I need a Cloud subscription and an Apple Developer subscription also?

My client desire is to only make their accessible to paying members requiring a sign–in before download. Does this fall into a private distribution deployment.

  • Anybody know whats the system requirement for installing SAP in my home pc.

anybody know whats the system requirement for installing SAP in my home pc. I have p4 processor with 1 GB Ram. I can increase the ram to 2 GB.  Please help

    Hi friend,
Check your RAM , even for 4.7 version you need 1gb ram for better speed, 80gb sap only will occupy, for other storage you need to maintain another hard disk, or add new hard disk with your existing hard disk to make it 120 or 160, if its 6.0 then sap only occupies 6.0, then you need some more space for additional data, you cant browse internet on sap-server (which you installed), for internet and general purposed you need to seperate the hard disk, in case of 6.0 and you want to use both internet and sap you need to have 240-300GB HDD & 2GB ram, inter core2duo processor, 3.15ghz processor etc...and if its 4.7sap and other Operating system you need to have minum 160GB hard disk and 1gb RAM for better speed and access...
clarify if any doubts are there, system performance improves with good RAM memory...
    reward if helps

  • What are the requirements for Oracle Locator?

Hi, when installing a new database, we want to trim out the stuff that Oracle installs by default that we don't absolutely need. However, we do want to make use of the MDSYS.SDO_GEOMETRY type and Oracle Locator (not Spatial).
Oracle has all these different components, and we jut found out that in order to use Locator, you have to install Oracle interMedia. Is there anything else there that Locator has a dependency on that we would be missing? We intend to install these:
    Oracle Workspace Manager
    Oracle Enterprise Manager
    Oracle Database Catalog Views
    Oracle Database Packages and Types
But out of the list of the rest of them, what is needed for Oracle Locator?
    Spatial
    Oracle interMedia
    OLAP Catalog
    Oracle XML Database
    Oracle Text
    Oracle Expression Filter
    Oracle Rules Manager
    Oracle Workspace Manager
    Oracle Data Mining
    Oracle Database Catalog Views
    Oracle Database Packages and Types
    JServer JAVA Virtual Machine
    Oracle XDK
    Oracle Database Java Packages
    OLAP Analytic Workspace
    Oracle OLAP API

Oracle Locator is implemented in the MDSYS userid. (It's included in every version and edition of the database since 8i, including 10gR2 Express Edition.)
As you have noted, Locator is considered part of intermedia. (In some versions of Oracle, Locator is officially a feature of intermedia, in others it seems to be independent. In all versions, it uses a commono install with intermedia.) The install for intermedia 10gR2 is described at http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/appdev.102/b14302/ap_instl_upgrd.htm#sthref649
I believe there are some Locator funtions in 10gR2 that are impemented in Java and require the JVM. The 10gR2 Express Edition (XE) does not include JVM and Locator seems to be mostly functional, but there are areas that do not work.
Technically you do not need Oracle Text or Oracle XDK/XMLDB. I've found they are extremely useful so I do include them in my minimum installs. They are also included in XE.
In your list the following are related to separately licensed EE options: Spatial, OLAP and Data Mining

  • What are the requirements for Learning SAP WAS 2004s?

    Hello all,
I came thru from different streams like started my career as a DB2 Developer and next worked as ETL developer on DataStage EX next I jumped to IBM SOA and there I learned the SOA stack and again shifted to SAP's ESA and worked for middle ware tool XI 3.0 for 10 months.
Up to now I didn't have stability. Till now with my analysis and got to know that in future the entire scope is for Infrastructure and Business Intelligence side.
So I opted for Infrastructure side SAP WAS.
Can any body explain how the path should be implemented to stabilize in this WAS area.
As I want to be geek in OS and DB abstraction?
As I want to be  good programmer in Java?
As I want to be an exposure on ABAP?
As I have to be familiar with normal Administration knowledge?
    Any more things...!!
also explain about how the difference between old legacy SAP BASIS and WAS 2004s.
Can some techiee, pl take it into hand and explain in-detail.

    Hi,
    Check things like
    SAP Netweaver  vs SAP ABAP
    netweaver vs mysap
It comes to the fact that you first need to choose what you want to do within NW.

  • What are import settings for downloaded purchases?

import settings on itunes isnt the same settings for purchased downloads?

Import settings do not apply to purchases.  When you purchase a download, it comes in the format provided by the store.
Some common formats are AAC/256 (iTunes Store), MP3/256 (Amazon MP3), and MP3/320 (Google Play).

  • What are the requirements for successful use of PDSElementInsertMCAsKid()?

I've been struggling all day. On Friday I had working code that merged content from multiple PDF pages into a single page in a new PDF. Optional content and object data were preserved. However, I needed to create my own optional content around each page ingested and remove any existing option content from the source pages. Some refactoring was performed and now I have code that does everything I need to do, except that PDSElementInsertMCAsKid() errors with a message about finding an incorrect structure in the PDF file. If I comment out this call I get a PDF with a correct structure tree except for not being connected to the content stream. So how could I have botched it up?
Before I was replicating everything in the source content stream into the destination content stream. Now I'm creating an optional content container and content for each ingested PDF page. After creating the container I traverse the source content stream. When an optional content container is encountered the container is ignored and the contained elements are added directly to the destination content stream. If one of those contained elements is an object data container a new container and new content is created. A PDSElement is created and initialized from the source PDSElement, and added to the destination structure tree. I don't think there has been any changes to the object data code, only to the how I'm handling optional content.
I'd appreciate any ideas or information on how PDSElementInsertMCAsKid() works that anyone has.
    TIA,
    Alan

I've found that the error does not occur if the code creates a new PDDoc and PDPage as the target for the merge operation instead of using a target PDF. For my workflow this is an acceptable solution.
So apparently something about the state of the target PDF or its page causes the error. Possibly PDFL is getting confused somehow. The target PDF that was being used was an empty template PDF. Using PDDocRemoveStructTreeRoot(), PDDocFlattenOC() and PDPageRemoveCosContents() before beginning the merge did not affect the outcome. Merging that PDF as the first in the sequence works fine also.

    error text wsaeconnrefused connection refused
    counter -7

    Hello Ashish,
then you may need to check the router string carefully if it is correct. "connection refused" in your error message means, that either the program is not running and not listening to the port 3299 on the affected server, or connection data are wrong. Do you have a SAProuter trace and did SAProuter notice in the trace, that you are trying to connect to it?

  • What are the requirements for publishing a book on the App. Store?

An associate of mine and I wrote have written a book of science fiction, and thought a good place to start publication might be on the App. Store - I know it is a place that a sizable number of people go, and I have heard stories about authors publishing a book to it, and benefitting from the act.
One I heard of initially found his book 'rejected' by Apple, then 'accepted' (obviously after changes).  No explanation is given of what is necessary to be 'accepted' on to the App. Store.
Does anyone know what they might be?

You are confusing the iBookStore with the App store. Same family, but different store. Best to post this in the iBooks forums I think.
