What are the common methods in the WD Application?

Hi
Please let me know the common methods in the Web Dynpor application
regards
mmukesh

If you create a Application with many DCs, you may have a DC , called common ,DC that makes all common tasks, that every DC needs to do such  calling back end for obtaining a list of available Unit of Measure, Currencies, etc.,
a logger can also be in the common DC since most of the DC will use a logger.

There are no apps that work on the iPod Nano. Apps are exclusive to the iPod Touch and iPhones. You can buy games for your iPod Nano in the iTunes Store though. They're the closest thing to apps for the Nano.

  • What are the Application avaliable in Apple Iphone 4s? i wanna that application details?, what are the Application avaliable in Apple Iphone 4s? i wanna that application details?

I wanna know what are the defalut application will come iphone 4s.

So they doing the ye'old monkey in the middle routine, eh? Well I'm not a monkey and neither is anyone else(!)
AT&T is saying they aren't doing it, and that if my phone decides to crap out that I will have to see if Apple will replace my phone. But she said even though they have no involvement nor allowance with this carrier version update, that it is between apple and the federal agency requesting these updates, that she will document and send the complaint to the people at AT&T that are working on carriers updates with them.
I also stated to the rep, that there is some chatter stating the updates are being implemented by AT&T. The rep denied any such information.
I also asked the rep, if there has been any customer complaints or concerns brought to AT&Ts attention today in regards to Carrier Version Updates? The reps response was "no, this is a first"
What I am experiencing: LTE or WiFi: these OTA Forced updates are unexpected and with out advanced notice.
This is the second time I've witnessed this while the device is in use that this OTAFU comes through. There is a data cap on bandwidth, so I think the OTAFU is hogging bandwidth and other resources, which in turn is making any other apps in use choke for bandwidth and other resources while the update is taking place.
I still have the Government Alerts with the 14.2 CU.
I do believe this is IOL and Data Redundancy which is causing technical debt to grow exponentially out of control.
Amber Alerts are great, useful, and helpful - but there is an App for that, a text message, and an email alert system.
Emergency Alerts are great, and useful - BUT there are many apps and signals for that as well as being broadcasted on TV, Radio, FiOS, And Cable.
Simply all too much(!) When is enough enough?
What is the backup system to the government emergency alerts system, if we are unable to access any form of electronic communications?

    Hi user;
what are the common error while EBS R12 installation with os unix and windows.AFAIK there is no document which show common error. There are some common error for installation like:
    RW-5004- RW-50010 etc.
For error we have to check instalaltion log files for can get more details about it
oracle have any any check after installation all installation are correct according to no of directory, files and file size ?Oracle has 2 checking mechanisim during installation.
    1. Before start installation, rapidwiz makes Validate system Configuration check which is checking port avaliability, file system check etc.
    2. End of the installation, rapidwiz makes Validate system Configuration again to check jsp,dbc file, db avaliablity etc..

  • What are the avlble methods to Measure  Quality of Customer Service in SAP

    Hi
We are in Retail business, and I would like to know what are the available methods to measure the Quality of Customer service in SAP CRM. Help us to get the required information?
    Best regards

    Venkat,
there are two aspects to this :
    1. The overall philosophy ( for want of a better word ) of QOS for any service - there is a lot of thought that has gone into measuring QOS for a service - hence I would say that QOS is more related to the specific service than the entire domain.
    2. Measuring the quality of service in terms of what ? - there are a lot of KPIs for the same some of them could be :
Average time taken to service a customer
Does the customer get all that they want in the store or only some of the items ( partial fill)
Are the products neatly arranged and easy to access
average time taken for the customer to get what h/she needs
customer facilities like parking / childern play area etc
Availability of attendants / helpers for the customer
    home delivery
credit options... etc etc and the list could go on endlessly ... as you can see it is very specific to the service being provided and accordingly you will get KPIs for the same.
As for measauring the same - there are umpteen ways to do the samedepending on the place it gets recorded - you can have surveys / web surveys / POS details etc etc - what is it that you are looking for specifically ?

    Hope it helps....

  • What are the parameters in Call transaction method?

    Hi ABAPER'S,
Please give me what are the parameters in call transaction method?
    Thanks,
    Prakash

Processing batch input data with CALL TRANSACTION USING is the faster of the two recommended data transfer methods. In this method, legacy data is processed inline in your data transfer program.
    Syntax:
    CALL TRANSACTION <tcode>
    USING <bdc_tab>
    MODE  <mode>
    UPDATE  <update>
    <tcode> : Transaction code
<bdc_tab> : Internal table of structure BDCDATA.
    <mode> : Display mode:
    A
    Display all
    E
    Display errors only
    N
    No display
    <update> : Update mode:
    S
    Synchronous
    A
    Asynchronous
    L
    Local update
A program that uses CALL TRANSACTION USING to process legacy data should execute the following steps:
Prepare a BDCDATA structure for the transaction that you wish to run.
With a CALL TRANSACTION USING statement, call the transaction and prepare the BDCDATA structure. For example:
    CALL TRANSACTION 'TFCA' USING BDCDATA
    MODE 'A'
    UPDATE 'S'.
    MESSAGES INTO MESSTAB.
    IF SY-SUBRC <> 0.
    <Error_handling>.
    ENDIF.
    The MODE Parameter
You can use the MODE parameter to specify whether data transfer processing should be displayed as it happens. You can choose between three modes:
A Display all. All screens and the data that goes in them appear when you run your program.
N No display. All screens are processed invisibly, regardless of whether there are errors or not. Control returns to your program as soon as transaction processing is finished.
E Display errors only. The transaction goes into display mode as soon as an error in one of the screens is detected. You can then correct the error.
The display modes are the same as those that are available for processing batch input sessions.
    The UPDATE Parameter
You use the UPDATE parameter to specify how updates produced by a transaction should be processed. You can select between these modes:
A Asynchronous updating. In this mode, the called transaction does not wait for any updates it produces to be completed. It simply passes the updates to the SAP update service. Asynchronous processing therefore usually results in faster execution of your data transfer program.
Asynchronous processing is NOT recommended for processing any larger amount of data. This is because the called transaction receives no completion message from the update module in asynchronous updating. The calling data transfer program, in turn, cannot determine whether a called transaction ended with a successful update of the database or not.
If you use asynchronous updating, then you will need to use the update management facility (Transaction SM12) to check whether updates have been terminated abnormally during session processing. Error analysis and recovery is less convenient than with synchronous updating.
S Synchronous updating. In this mode, the called transaction waits for any updates that it produces to be completed. Execution is slower than with asynchronous updating because called transactions wait for updating to be completed. However, the called transaction is able to return any update error message that occurs to your program. It is much easier for you to analyze and recover from errors.
L Local updating. If you update data locally, the update of the database will not be processed in a separate process, but in the process of the calling program. (See the ABAP keyword documentation on SET UPDATE TASK LOCAL for more information.)
    The MESSAGES Parameter
The MESSAGES specification indicates that all system messages issued during a CALL TRANSACTION USING are written into the internal table <MESSTAB> . The internal table must have the structure BDCMSGCOLL .
You can record the messages issued by Transaction TFCA in table MESSTAB with the following coding:
(This example uses a flight connection that does not exist to trigger an error in the transaction.)
DATA: BEGIN OF BDCDATA OCCURS 100.
    INCLUDE STRUCTURE BDCDATA.
    DATA: END OF BDCDATA.
DATA: BEGIN OF MESSTAB OCCURS 10.
    INCLUDE STRUCTURE BDCMSGCOLL.
    DATA: END OF MESSTAB.
    BDCDATA-PROGRAM = 'SAPMTFCA'.
    BDCDATA-DYNPRO = '0100'.
    BDCDATA-DYNBEGIN = 'X'.
    APPEND BDCDATA.
    CLEAR BDCDATA.
    BDCDATA-FNAM = 'SFLIGHT-CARRID'.
    BDCDATA-FVAL = 'XX'.
    APPEND BDCDATA.
    BDCDATA-FNAM = 'SFLIGHT-CONNID'.
    BDCDATA-FVAL = '0400'.
    APPEND BDCDATA.
CALL TRANSACTION 'TFCA' USING BDCDATA MODE 'N'
    MESSAGES INTO MESSTAB.
    LOOP AT MESSTAB.
    WRITE: / MESSTAB-TCODE,
    MESSTAB-DYNAME,
    MESSTAB-DYNUMB,
    MESSTAB-MSGTYP,
    MESSTAB-MSGSPRA,
    MESSTAB-MSGID,
    MESSTAB-MSGNR.
    ENDLOOP.
The following figures show the return codes from CALL TRANSACTION USING and the system fields that contain message information from the called transaction. As the return code chart shows, return codes above 1000 are reserved for data transfer. If you use the MESSAGES INTO <table> option, then you do not need to query the system fields shown below; their contents are automatically written into the message table. You can loop over the message table to write out any messages that were entered into it.
    Return codes:
    Value
    Explanation
    0
    Successful
    <=1000
    Error in dialog program
    > 1000
    Batch input error
    System fields:
    Name:
    Explanation:
    SY-MSGID
    Message-ID
    SY-MSGTY
    Message type (E,I,W,S,A,X)
    SY-MSGNO
    Message number
    SY-MSGV1
    Message variable 1
    SY-MSGV2
    Message variable 2
    SY-MSGV3
    Message variable 3
    SY-MSGV4
    Message variable 4
    Error Analysis and Restart Capability
Unlike batch input methods using sessions, CALL TRANSACTION USING processing does not provide any special handling for incorrect transactions. There is no restart capability for transactions that contain errors or produce update failures.
You can handle incorrect transactions by using update mode S (synchronous updating) and checking the return code from CALL TRANSACTION USING. If the return code is anything other than 0, then you should do the following:
write out or save the message table
use the BDCDATA table that you generated for the CALL TRANSACTION USING to generate a batch input session for the faulty transaction. You can then analyze the faulty transaction and correct the error using the tools provided in the batch input management facility.

  • What are the best archiving methods for small colleges?

    Hi Folks,
Im thinking a few terabyte hard drives will be my best option for a hundred dollars each.
We have a small operation here at a New England college with two editing systems that get a good amount of student use and use by myself for college needs. Some of the student work will get deleted at the end of each semester, but I need to save all the college's video.
What are the best ways to archive? Some of my concerns are cost and space. I can afford a few externals, do any of you have a nice cheap solution?
I understand if I am to go the route of archiving on externals I should have a backup of my backup, do any of you guys have any feedback on ghosting your backups, is that common?
    thanks
    Mike

If it's JUST for backup (not operation), you can get bare drives and either an enclosure for 1 or 2 drives with no tools trays (like the ones from Sansdigital: about $120 for a 1 drive enclosure) or a device like the UltraDock from Wiebetech (I use the latter). Physically install (or connect in the case of Ultradock) a bare SATA II 3.5" drive, connect it via USB 2, Firewire, esata, initialize/erase it, and then copy your files.
Then store the drive carefully in the foil anti-static bag it came in a dry location where it won't get jostled about by errant students (or kids in my house).
The savings in not getting full drive enclosures in the cost of multiple power supplies and interfaces. You pay for that once with the mountable enclosure / drivedock, and thereafter, just buy bare drives.
I also like another reply: have the students provide drives on which to back up their projects. A friend of mine has a ProTools audio studio, and part of his "set up" charge, is $100 for a bare drive that he will archive for 5 years, or the client can take with him at the end of the project (when the bill is paid).

  • What are the methods to modify SAP standard tables?

    hi
what are the methods to modify SAP standard tables?

    .APPEND structures AND CUSTOMIZING INCLUDES.
these are the two methods.. but customizing includes we, as a developers do not use.
generally we use .APPEND structures to modify standard tables.
note that we need an access key to modify atandard tables.
we can create an apend structure and add that structure to the standard table at the end.
note that .append structures should only be added only at the end.
that is the reason we use .append structures to modify standard tables.as we should not include a field in the middle and disturb the original order of the standard table fields as it may effect many objects depending on the standard table.
but Some standard tables for which there is a LONG datatype field can never be modified.
the reason is the LONG datatype field should always be there at the end and also .APPEND strutures should always be there at the end. there will be a conflict. so, some standard tables can not be appended.

    Hi Suneel,
Errors in reporting are like incorrect query creation, errors in creating RKF, CKF and variables, misunderstanding the data, or errors with other tools like broadcasting. Errors in extraction relate to source system connectivity, field-infoobject mapping, incorrect code etc. Also, please search the forums and you will find many real time examples.
