    Hi,
    As far as my view there is no  such dependancy as our customers are running  in same Environemnt (R/3 4.7 EE and BI 7.0) .
    Are you facing any problem durng extraction or its just a proactive approarch .
    I hope extraction will work with your current landscape.

  • What are the components use to be store in workspace repository ?

    Hi ,
    We are working on Hyperion System9 v 9.3.1 which is on AIX server with Oracle 10g repository. We have scheduled approx 300 bqys having email notification which is importing bqy output files to respective folders with joboutput in another folder.
    As, we know that all bqys & jobs use to be store in file system on Hyperion server (/Hyperion/BIPlus/data/RM1_servername/root/../...).
    But our concern is hyperion repository size which is 163 GB in current scenario.
    Therefore, we need to know that what are the components use to be store in repository for Hyperion workspace.
    Your any guidance will be highly appreciable.
    With regards,

  • What are the components I need to install on my apps server

    Hello All,
    Our Oracle DB 10.1.0.3.0 is installed on Linux Server.
    Oracle 10g Developer Site is installed on windows XP.
    I have upgraded form & reports form earlier version 6.0..
    Now I need to install Oracle Application Server on windows 2003 (x86) 32 bit.
    I never done this b4.
    My question is that ,
    what are the components I need to install on my apps server to run Forms & Reports?
    I am installing apps server on one machine.
    But when I read documentation they said its better to install on two machine.
    Regards,
    Diana

    Yes,
    I'm sorry to tell you but for forms and reports (BI) you need to install almost everything, you need to install an infrastructure as first components, and then a midtier for AS with Business Intelligence option, in this second component you can chose to install Reports, forms, OCJ4, Portal, any other component you need or you thik you will need in the future.
    You can install both in one Server if you don't have resources for 2 or 3 thinking on load balance. It works fine for me in one server but my operation is not too big.

  • What are the must have SAP componets req to publish MDM 7.1.03.86 on web

    Can anyone explain to me what are the SAP components required for MDM 7.1.03.86 allowing me create a webpage front end to MDM 7.1 and create and publish my own screens?
    Like many I am very new to the world of SAP.
    There are many others in my own company with a vast knowledge of what are all the pieces needed to run almost anything
    In SAP. One of the exceptions to this rule is SAP Master Data Management (MDM).
    We run:
    - SAP MDM version 7.1.03.86
    - A Windows 2003 server
    - Oracle 10.X.
    - 7.1 Import Manager
    - 7.1 Import Server
    - 7.1 Data Manager
    - 7.1 Syndication Server
    - I see reference to the 7.1 MDM Publishers but I donu2019t see the API in the way I have software loaded right now.
    I would like to get to the point where I can create a web portal front end to the MDM product.
    My problem is I canu2019t get anyone to give me a an answer as to what are the other pieced of software I would need to get
    In an end to end solution. Starting with barebones and working up to the works!
    Here is what I would like to be able to do:
    - Publish in a SAP Portal screens to the web. (SAP NetWeaver CE Portal, PI Portal ????)
    - Write code in Java, SQL, VB and more, save and test them. (SAP NetWeaver WebDynpro for Java ???)
    - create a web screen in the portal and publish to a Portal or URL. (SDK kit or Developer's kit Like: SAP NetWeaver
    Developer Studio ???)
    - It looks to me like the "SAP NetWeaver BPM" product is "Nice" to have but not required.
    This is soo confusing, PLEASE help!
    Thank You
    Steve T

    Hi Steve
    Adding to Anu's response:
    The prebuilt packages (worksets) cannot be used on a CE portal - only on a NW Enterprise Portal.
    iView templates are also provided which allows you to put together your own pages and worksets. Again, these require the Enterprise Portal.
    You don't have to use an SAP portal. You can use any webserver combined with Java code
    (that makes use of the MDM Java API) to access the data (check out http://catalog.bd.com/ for a sample of this). Of course, this requires a lot more effort on your side.
    "SAP NetWeaver BPM" amounts to NetWeaver CE. It is required if you want to make use of the WebDynpro components in new MDM releases.
    Since you mentioned the MDM Publisher, if you want to simply publish "read only" data to a web front-end, you may be able to make use of the MDM Publisher together with Adboe InDesign.
    Java code can make use of the MDM Java API. Windows development tools can make use of the MDM COM and MDM .NET APIs.
    HTH,
    Mark

    What is ESS
    Employee Self-Service or ESS is a web-based solution designed to automate many of the repetitive tasks of the HR function
    by allowing employees direct access to HR information and services. The basic idea of ESS is that employees are empowered to be responsible for their own personal information.
    Benefits:-
    One of the major reason for organizations implementing ESS is that it allows HR professionals to spend less time in administrative tasks like paper filing,
    attendance monitoring etc and more time dealing with more complex and strategic HR issues.
    The Gartner Group had estimated that 40 percent of traditional HR activities were handled by ESS in the year 2000 and this can only increase over time.

  • What are the components of ESA Enterprise Services Architecture

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Azeem,
    The components of ESA could depend on the kind of solution you are trying to implement. However, if your question is regarding the tools that SAP provides to accomplish the ESA paradigm then they are the following:
    1) Enterprise Services Repository (ESR): In a typical SOA scenario, this is where you would define your Service Interfaces. A corresponding WSDL file will be generated accordingly. At this point there is no backend implementation for your Interface.
    2) Backend implementation: This Service interface in ESR can then be implemented in the backend system. Once implemented, SAP systems provide the option of directly publishing this implementation to a Services Registry.
    3) Services Registry: This is a part of the NW Composition Environment and registers all web services published onto it. It is used as a single source for services for an organisation and has capabilities to configure governance processes for these services based on their classifications.
    4) Composition Environment: This contains the tools one would need to consume the services from the Services Registry and create composite applications. It provides tools like WebDynpro, Guided Procedures, Visual Composer, CAF etc to accomplish the same.
    Hope this helps.

  • What are the Differences between These Scripts

    I am using sql in a software called TOAD. I am trying to figure it out for a project for days. I really need some help to distinguish the differences among them.
    In the project, I need to join two tables, db_a and db_b, where their clt_no, clt_ofc_no, and postal _codes are the same. However, when I try to do the joins by the 3 different queries below, they all give me different results. I've highlighted the parts that they are different from each other. The reason I wish for somebody can point out the differences is that I don't think myself understand how exactly exists and in work (i've read some posts about them). Maybe at least somebody can advise the factors that might cause the differences, so I know where I should check.
    Here is some sample data:
    table db_a
    Seq_No     Clt_no     Ofc_no     postal_Code
    1     123     1     M5T1K3
    1     123     2     N2L4D4
    *1     125     1     M3T1L3*
    2     456     3     L3T2T3
    3     658     1     O6S3A5
    4     448     2     E4T7A9
    4     874     4     E6Y7I8
    5     741     1     B3T5R5
    5     742     1     O6P7Y7
    6     521     2     P4W3E6
    7     358     2     X3F4V5
    table db_b
    Clt_no     Ofc_no     postal_Code
    123      1     M5T1K3
    123      2     N2L4D4
    125      1     M3T1L8
    456      3     L3T2T3
    658      1     B3T5R5
    448      2     E4T7A9
    874      4     E6Y7I8
    742      1     O6P7Y7
    358      2     X3F4V5
    Script 1:
    SELECT a.seq_no, count(*)
    FROM db_a a
    WHERE exists (
    SELECT a.seq_no
    FROM db_b b
    WHERE a.clt_no=b.clt_no
    AND a.clt_ofc_no=b.clt_ofc_no
    AND ('' || trim(UPPER(a.postal_code)) || '')=(UPPER(b.CLT_PSZP_CD))
    AND a.postal_code IS NOT NULL
    AND a.match_desc = '03-Name Matched'
    group by a.seq_no
    Script 2:
    SELECT a.seq_no, count(*)
    FROM db_a a
    WHERE exists (
    SELECT a.seq_no
    FROM db_b b, db_a a
    WHERE a.clt_no=b.clt_no
    AND a.clt_ofc_no=b.clt_ofc_no
    AND ('' || trim(UPPER(a.postal_code)) || '')=(UPPER(b.CLT_PSZP_CD))
    AND a.postal_code IS NOT NULL
    AND a.match_desc = '03-Name Matched'
    group by a.seq_no
    Script 3:
    SELECT a.seq_no, count(*)
    FROM db_a a
    WHERE a.seq_no in (
    SELECT a.seq_no
    FROM db_b b, db_a a
    WHERE a.clt_no=b.clt_no
    AND a.clt_ofc_no=b.clt_ofc_no
    AND ('' || trim(UPPER(a.postal_code)) || '')=(UPPER(b.CLT_PSZP_CD))
    AND a.postal_code IS NOT NULL
    AND a.match_desc = '03-Name Matched'
    group by a.seq_no
    The first script is closest to my target. However, I also need to select the accounts that have the same seq_no even though their clt_no, clt_ofc_no or postal_code dont match. For example, even though the third row in db_a and db_b doesn't match on postal_code, it has the same seq_no with some other accounts that have matches on clt_no, ofc_no and postal_codes. Then, I would like to include this row in the selection, though it doesn't fulfill the conditions. No matter how I changed the codes, it would not give me the results I want.
    PLEASE HELP!!!
    Thanks!

    Hi,
    Welcome to the forum!
    The best way to post your sample data is as CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements.
    For example:
    CREATE TABLE     db_a
    (       Seq_No          NUMBER (3)
    ,     Clt_no          NUMBER (3)
    ,     Ofc_no          NUMBER (3)
    ,     postal_Code     VARCHAR2 (6)
    INSERT INTO db_a (seq_no, clt_no, ofc_no, postal_code) VALUES (1, 123, 1, 'M5T1K3');
    INSERT INTO db_a (seq_no, clt_no, ofc_no, postal_code) VALUES (1, 123, 2, 'N2L4D4');
    INSERT INTO db_a (seq_no, clt_no, ofc_no, postal_code) VALUES (1, 125, 1, 'M3T1L3');
    INSERT INTO db_a (seq_no, clt_no, ofc_no, postal_code) VALUES (2, 456, 3, 'L3T2T3');
    INSERT INTO db_a (seq_no, clt_no, ofc_no, postal_code) VALUES (3, 658, 1, 'O6S3A5');
    INSERT INTO db_a (seq_no, clt_no, ofc_no, postal_code) VALUES (4, 448, 2, 'E4T7A9');
    INSERT INTO db_a (seq_no, clt_no, ofc_no, postal_code) VALUES (4, 874, 4, 'E6Y7I8');
    INSERT INTO db_a (seq_no, clt_no, ofc_no, postal_code) VALUES (5, 741, 1, 'B3T5R5');
    INSERT INTO db_a (seq_no, clt_no, ofc_no, postal_code) VALUES (5, 742, 1, 'O6P7Y7');
    INSERT INTO db_a (seq_no, clt_no, ofc_no, postal_code) VALUES (6, 521, 2, 'P4W3E6');
    INSERT INTO db_a (seq_no, clt_no, ofc_no, postal_code) VALUES (7, 358, 2, 'X3F4V5');
    CREATE TABLE      db_b
    (       Clt_no          NUMBER (3)
    ,     Ofc_no          NUMBER (3)
    ,     postal_Code     VARCHAR2 (6)
    INSERT INTO db_b (clt_no, ofc_no, postal_code) VALUES (123, 1, 'M5T1K3');
    INSERT INTO db_b (clt_no, ofc_no, postal_code) VALUES (123, 2, 'N2L4D4');
    INSERT INTO db_b (clt_no, ofc_no, postal_code) VALUES (125, 1, 'M3T1L8');
    INSERT INTO db_b (clt_no, ofc_no, postal_code) VALUES (456, 3, 'L3T2T3');
    INSERT INTO db_b (clt_no, ofc_no, postal_code) VALUES (658, 1, 'B3T5R5');
    INSERT INTO db_b (clt_no, ofc_no, postal_code) VALUES (448, 2, 'E4T7A9');
    INSERT INTO db_b (clt_no, ofc_no, postal_code) VALUES (874, 4, 'E6Y7I8');
    INSERT INTO db_b (clt_no, ofc_no, postal_code) VALUES (742, 1, 'O6P7Y7');
    INSERT INTO db_b (clt_no, ofc_no, postal_code) VALUES (358, 2, 'X3F4V5');It's good to simplify. For example, your real tables probably have many more columns, but you're only showing the relevant ones. That's great, but be careful that you include all the relevant columns. You first query references columns match_desc and clt_ofc_no from table db_a, but those names didn't appear in your description of the data. (There were separate columns clt_no and ofc_no, but no clt_ofc_no.) Likewise, the query referred to db_b.clt_ofc_no and clt_pszp_cd.
    Always include the results that you want from the sample data you posted.
    This site normally compresses whitespace, so when you post anything formatted (such as output), type these 6 characters:
    \(all small letters, inside curly brackets) before and after each section of formatted test, to preserve the spacing.
    Right now, I have some idea of where you are starting from, but no idea at all of where you want to go, so I can't give you directions.
    I do have three sets of bad directions (your flawed queries), which may be helpful, but that's no substitute for posting the results you want from tha sample data. • What are the components used when I click on a Menu

    I was wondering when you click on a Menu, the menu pulls down and display its menu items.
    My question is: what is the component (with a null name) that surrond the menu items?
    This wierd component seems to appear in my log I give/retreive the focus to a menu or
    when my mouse goes outside menuitems when the meny is pulled down my log says
    Mouse entered in a component with name=null
    Anyone heard about that wierd component of Swing?
    any clue is much appreciated

    If you can ask it for a name, try doing component.getClass() on it.

  • What are the components of a completed BPD set?

    Hello,
    As you all are aware BPA suite allows you to create a vast host of diagrams.
    My question,
    For someone to claim that (s)he has done the COMPLETE set of Business Process Diagrams, aka BPD set,
    What components are
    a. Mandatory and b. additional/ optional.
    Please note that based on the responses I get, I intended to start a SEPERATE thread for EACH kind of diagram to get a more complete feel as to what should be included a PARTICULAR diagram.
    For the purposes of these thread I would appreciate we all limiting ourselves to BPMN and
    ONLY talk about non-BPMN stuff ( like EPC related diagrams) only when BPMN does not provide for that functionality.
    Regards

    In nutshell the typical components of a contact center are:
    PBX, where phones can register to and phone calls are delivered
    ACD - Automatic call distributor that routes calls based on selected algorithm
    IVR - where prompts can be played, calls can be queued
    Agent Desktop - application agents login to, this can be 3rd party integration as well and can be thick or thin client
    Reporting
    Call recording
    Speed recognition/text to speech
    Social media integration
    web and email routing
    outbound dialer
    Depending on which solution you select from Cisco the architecture is completely different between UCCE vs. UCCX for example, where with UCCE (enterprise) all components are separate and I would suggest reading design guide (SRND) for more details, and UCCX (express) most components can be on single server.

  • What are the scenarios in SAP CIN?

    Hi,
    I need to work on CIN.
    Can you give the total scenarios on CIN on MM and SD side.

    Hello,
    Before I am going to explain what cenvat is, you have to understand the Indian tax central excise duty(BED). It is called as basis excise duty. Every manufacturer is liable to pay the excise duty in various kinds like Basis excise duty, Special excise duty, Additional excise duty etc.,
    Just think over a product which is reached to an end user, how many manufacturing activities are done. So to reduce the tax burden of the end user the Govt of India has introduced the MODVAT scheme which is now called CENVAT scheme. Based on this, if any manufacturer purchased a material, which is duty paid and if it is used for his further manufacturing activity, he can avail this as credit in his book based on the central excise invoice. At the time of selling his manufactured goods, he is liable to pay the excise duty. He can adjust the credit which he has taken into his books and pay the rest.
    Ex: Cenvat availed at the time of purchased various goods Rs.20,000 (excise duty) and Cenvat payable for his product at the time of sales Rs.25,000(excise duty) he will pay only Rs.5,000 through cash deposit in PLA.

    Hello Ashish,
    then you may need to check the router string carefully if it is correct. "connection refused" in your error message means, that either the program is not running and not listening to the port 3299 on the affected server, or connection data are wrong. Do you have a SAProuter trace and did SAProuter notice in the trace, that you are trying to connect to it?
    regards,
    Alwina
