What are the contents of "JAGENT.PRM" file

Hi All,
Can someone post the content of "jagent.prm". After the setup of monitor server and making changes in the config files; the "CREATE DATASTORE" is not creating "jagent.prm" and when i start jagent, it fails with the error "jagent.prm" does not exists.
Can someone copy paste the contents so that i can create this file manually and test whether it works or not.
Regards,
Kamal Khan

hi ,
i have installed GG monitor on my machine and working fine , maximum that will not take morethan a hour.
where you are installing GG monitor in the same oracle GoldenGate instance server or seperate one?
if you in the same machine, check the below list
Did you install JDK 1.6 + in your environment?
did you set the JAVA_HOME and PATH variables?
find below the jagent contents, i have configured on windows machin, find below the jagent.prm file contents,
COMMAND java -jar -Xms64m -Xmx512m dirjar/jagent.jar
the jagent.prm file refering jagent.jar file whivh is in dirjar folder, there are different executable jar files in dirjar folder.
*** dirjar - Contains the Java programs that support the Oracle GoldenGate Agent. This subdirectory is created during installation.
*** dirprm - Contains the Oracle GoldenGate Agent parameter file, jagent.prm.. This subdirectory and parameter file are created during installation of Oracle GoldenGate
11.2.1 and later. Extract, Replicat and Manager parameter files created using GGSCI will also reside in this subdirectory.
creating jagent.prm file manually not a good idea,

since in this case you dont seem to have a key value to figure out what your header is, it is better to go for a two level mapping. i.e first read all the data - each line as an xml tag. and in the first mapping group it as required and then use it for your original mapping.

  • What are the most important system preference files to have backed up?

This isn't specifically a Time Machine question but since it pertains to backup I thought it would be best here. In addition to backing up my entire system to an external HD using Time Machine I'm also planning to back-up critical files to an online service (Mozy) in case I should have a break-in or fire or something like that and not be able to recover either my laptop or my external HD.
I've started to identify some of the files I'd like to back up such as the encrypted database where my passwords are stored (Wallet) but I'm wondering what some of the other things I should back up are. What are the files that would contain important data that I wouldn't want to lose or would help get in me up and running more quickly?

    Hiya,
firstly, I would not recommend backing up anything *in isolation*. As all system critical files interact, and some are stored (invisibly) at various locations, including the volume header.
The "library" files (you'll find various ones, one in your actual bootup drive, one in your home folder, and one in your "system" folder) are, of course critical (see Dimaxium's post)
With a MBP, I'd recommend timecapsule or external firewire HDD (I had some excellent experience with LaCie 1Tb on Firewire 800 - incredibly fast).
What I'd do, rather than running Time Machine, which can be - of course - *very useful* (drawback, it uses the backup disk till full) is the following:
If you know your existing OS is pristine and works perfectly, I'd get external HDD, install Leopard (from Leopard disk), then use migration assistant and it'll create a clone (if you tick all the boxes - note article about the versions: http://macs.about.com/od/leopard105/ss/migratevol.htm ).
That way, the new disk has everything. And from time to time, just boot up, using your external HDD and update.
Bit more work, but that way, you got a fully functional "emergency OS" available anytime.

  • What are the contents of ReportViewer.dll that comes with CalExec?

Calibration Executive comes with code module ReportViewer.dll. What are the function prototypes for the routines in this module? There is no information on the exported functions that can be used by another calling program.

    Hey TC99
You can use Dependency Walker to find out which functions are in that DLL.

  • What are the extra XD CAM EX files for?

I don't understand why the EX1 produces these strange files. If you shoot somethiong on the EX1 you get not only the MP4 file but also one SMI, one PPN, one XML, one BIM file. What are these extra files for? I don't get it.

Josh, I don't know how young you are, but try to moderate your commentary a bit, eh?
When I first got into editing with Adobe several years ago, the forums actually stuck to useful info and were friendly. I've been quite content with what I've been doing so far with my 7 year old stuff as have been my clients. Now I'm doing MAJOR upgrading; a total revamp of my studio and I'm finding that there is MUCH to learn; so much has changed from the days of "just get the fastest processor you can and the most amount of RAM you can afford and you're good to go." So, where do I turn? To the Adobe forums. MUCH has changed here too. :(
Sorry to be so upset, but you calling me lazy in another thread when I asked a sincere question wasn't taken too well. I'm a 57 year old grandpa that is just trying to make his way in a difficult economy by working 15-16 hour days, 7 days almost every week for the past 3 months. Lazy? Like I said, back off and be useful in the forums because in other posts I see you have some good contributions.

  • What are the contents of a withholding tax return?

A buyer normally deducts WHT and pays the balance to the vendor. The vendor then receives a withholding tax certificate from the buyer.
When the vendor files his withholding tax return, will teh withholding tax return only include details of this WHT deducted by buyer or it will include other things? And against what will the vendor set off the amount withheld by the buyer?

    Hey TC99

  • How to know what are the missing items in 'Collect Files' ?

I used 'Collect Files' to gather my medias for my project, but it's giving me this error in log:
    Number of missing items:  1
This project is pretty huge so how can I find out which items is missing ?
I don't see any offline layers in my sequences...
    Thank you.

Do you have a file that is bigger than 2gb in size ? I know that on some cases Collect file won't move file with size over 2gb (if i'm correct, not sure about this).
If you are on CS4, open you collected file project and type "missing" in the search text field of the project panel, and AE will show you all the missing files.
You can also have a look at the log file created when you collected the file to see wat file is missing.
    Hope that helps.

  • What are the contents of Mac OS X Install Disc 2

I bought my mac a few years ago, and i recently swiped it and wiped it clean again, to make it faster, which it has. When i was installing the CD's, the install dic 1 was fine, but when it said to insert disc 2 to continue the installation my mac wasn't reading it. Therefore i just did not install it. Yesterday i downloaded the disc 2 online, but i wanted to know what the contents were of disc 2 just so i knew what i had, if anyone could help that would be great

Any download of 10.5 discs online is illegal.  The only legal means of getting 10.5 is by DVD.    Also any downloaded copies may be pre-release data, or data infected with trojans.  Stay far far away from those downloads.

  • My MacBook Pro can't turn on again and apple said that the hard drive was broken. What are the chances of apple recovering my files on target disk?

Okay basically my MacBook Pro won't turn on. It has a spinning loading sign and a bar that won't complete at the bottom. Rang apple said take it into the apple shop and they will try target disk. What is that exactly and what are the chances my photos and files can be recovered. I would go to the shop but I'm on vacation. Help would be appreciated thanks.

    This defines Target Disk Mode:

Though not guaranteed, the chances are good that the data can be recovered.
