What are the Features of NOT

I purchased the NOTmad o/s and was curious what are some of the extra features and or difference between that software and creatives.

For me the killer features are:
Integration with Explorer</LI>
Xtreamer, which allows you to control the player from the PC with an excellent interface</LI>
Playlist sorting and shuffling</LI>
Ability to copy to PC with completely customisable folder/file filter</LI>
Stability...</LI>
I'll probably think of more when I've posted this

What are the features supported in Cisco Prime Infrastructure for WLAN for autonomous AP’s?

    • PI provides visibility for autonomous  clients within the same list view as lightweight and wired clients (client list  page).
    • Rogue AP detection for autonomous AP's is not supported (it's  supported in CUWN).
    • Alarms/events for client authentication issues (e.g.  authentication failure) are displayed in PI.
    • Config management for  autonomous AP's is via CLI template.  Config comparison and archiving  functionality in PI leverages these same features that were brought in from LMS,  so need to defer to others in terms of whether this is a cross-platform feature  in PI or is only supported on a subset of platforms.  Config comparison/archive  is supported in CUWN.PI supports both infrastructure (e.g. AP Tx Power and  Channel, busiest AP, AP utilization, etc.) and client (e.g. client count, client  sessions, etc.) reports, and there are extensive reports for CUWN

  • What are the features of RMAN

What are the features of RMAN

Then, by entering google.com, type "rman features" and you'll face tons of documents
    Or refer to documentation:
Using RMAN gives you access to several data backup and recovery techniques and features not available at all with user-managed backup and recovery. The most noteworthy are:
Incremental backups, which provide more compact backups (storing only changed blocks) and faster datafile media recovery (reducing the need to apply redo during datafile media recovery)
Block media recovery, in which a datafile with only a small number of corrupt data blocks can be repaired without being taken offline or restored from backup
Unused block compression, where RMAN can in some cases skip unused datafile blocks during backups
Binary compression, which uses a compression mechanism integrated into the Oracle database server to reduce the size of backups
Encrypted backups, which uses encryption capabilities integrated into the Oracle database to store backups in an encrypted format

  • What are the features of Business object.

    Hi Experts,
Can any please give me  brief idea about Business object which one will going implent into BI . and what are the features of Business object.
i will assign points if it is helpfull.
    Regards
    venu.

    Hi,
Bussiness Object is the reporting tool of datawarehouse.BI is itself a data ware house. The next generation SAP BI will be using BO as reporting tool instead of BeX.BO is a Reporting tool. Presently we are using BI BEX tool for reporting. slowly BI BEX tool is replacing by BO.Use Netveawer and SAP BW for the Backend and Master data management or Use Data Integartor. For Front End Use BEX tools for QR$A or use the BO Suite.BO has many advantages over BEX tool like using BO we can creat crystal reports ets.
Pls chk this links for detailed information abt Business Object:

  • What are the features of Mozilla Firefox for Linux?

I found an article on the features of Desktop Firefox. Do Linux and Windows have the same features?
If not, I need to know the features for Linux.

Firefox for Windows, Mac OSX (10.6+) and Linux (from mozilla.org) are pretty much the same.
You may find some of the Menu's and KB shortcuts being a little different on the three OS's due to their OS Human Interface Guidelines (HIG) being followed. Also may have some little appearance differences.
For example Tools->Options on Windows is Firefox->Preferences on Mac and Edit->Preferences on Linux.
Adobe is kind of screwing Linux users with Flash by only supporting Flash 11.2 with security updates.

  • What are the features of ios 7.1

I don't know the difference between ios 7 and 7.1

    Taxes wrote:
iOS 7 was beta software when it was introduced and it is still beta software that never should have been introduced!
Really? You know that for a fact? A company would risk alienating millions of users by releasing software that was fully tested. I think you are indeed a novice.
People said the same thing about Windows, about Android, about Linux, about every major software operating system ever created. It is impossible to test every possible combination of events and applications in every possible scenario. Doing so and the software would never be released.
Safari not being able to remember where it was at on a web page, for example, is not just a bug, it is essentially a fatal bug! Almost five months later and the same crap is still happening!
Download a different browser if you don't like the way Safari works. For all you know the behavior you describe may be intentional, just not the way you think it should work. A different browser, such as Chrome can be downloaded for free. I seriously doubt your "bug" is fatal. I don't see any devices crashings, users rebelling, or life support systems failing because Safaris does not work the way you want.
You do have a solution. Move to an Android or Windows phone. If the Safari behavior is so "fatal" move on to a different platform. The device is a tool. If the tool does not work for you then get another tool, a left handed screwdriver rather than a right handed screwdriver so to speak. In your new world of Android and Windows devices you will again find things that work differently. It is the nature of the small device world.

  • What are the consequences of not backing up controlfile in hot backup.

    Hi All,
We have 8i,9i, 10g and 11g database. The unfortunate thing is that we are using this user managed hot backups for backing up our database. and I have no idea for what reason, we are not backing up the controlfile. Anyway, I would like you to comment on this, they said, they will recreate a text based controlfile and do the recover database until cancel using backup controlfile ; I know, if we have the path of all the datafiles , we can use this, but is this a right strategy ? of course, no one would agreed on this. I really appriciate, if somone could express his opinion in detail.
    Regards

    Hi,
The database consists of the following files:
    Spfile/Pfile
    Controlfile
    Datafile
    Redo Log
    archivelog
When we talk about backing up the database, (no matter how) must take backup up of all these files.
If you are not taking these files in your backup you have a incomplete backup.
Why not take a back up of control file to a binary file. Is more simple and fast restore controlfile using binary file.
ALTER DATABASE BACKUP CONTROLFILE TO '/oracle/backup/control.bkp';To Trace should be used to produce SQL statements that can later be used to re-create your control file.
ALTER DATABASE BACKUP CONTROLFILE TO TRACE;Why not use RMAN? A resource with endless options and features.
Using user-managed backup you have none options/feature compared with the use of RMAN.
It can be used in all Oracle databases without additional license.

  • What are the major differences between BODS and Talend ?

    Hi Friends,
We had a client meeting 2 days back regarding BODS project, But our client is showing more interest on Talend. We have explained/demo him on BODS.  Could any one please tell me, What are the major differences between BODS and Talend ? What are the features of BODS which are not there in TELEND ?
    Thanks,
    Bheem.

    Hi,
If you talk difference than Talend is an open source. SAP DS as huge advantage when it comes to loading data into SAP and it is more flexible with lots of inbuilt features and easy to load data into SAP using DS directly and extracting data from various legacy systems.

  • What are the things we need to take care while moving from 11g to 12c.

Now he is asking to me that, what are the things will not work or impacted due to this. Any code level changes, syntax, functions etc are working in 11g and now there is difference or not working in 12c. Could you please help me in this.
Is there any document for all these thing. I searched on google but not able to find any specific doc.

    Hi,
Moving from 11g to 12c will not impact anything.
Database in 11g will now act as PDB's in 12c.
And what makes you say so? What about the changes/fixes done in the optimizer that would alter the plans? What about if the client wants to use in-memory database option? And your statement that database in 11g will now act as PDB in 12c doesn't make any sense. What if the client is not willing to move to multitenancy? What about the scripts that are running in 11g without any issues and suddenly, will break in 12c  due to PDB's ? Do you have any technical reference to validate your claim that there won't be any impact ?
