  • What are the integration points with sd and qm

    hi,
    sap gurus,
    good morning to all,
what are the integration points with SD and QM.
    in r/3.

    Dear balaji
Before doing PGI, there will be a preinspection stage where SD will have to integrate with QM.  Similarly after sales, whenever there is sales returns, QM will come into picture.
To control the above scenarios, in material master, go to "Quality management" view and click on "Insp.setup" where you need to assign Inspection Types like 04, 06 etc.
    thanks

  • What are the integration points with sd and pm

    hi,
    sap gurus,
    good morning to all,
what are the integration points SD and PLANT MAINTAINCE.
    REARDS,

    Balji,
There is no major integration b/w SD and PM.
But PM is integrated with CS for all service and repair orders.,
If you really want to see where they can be ssen integrated
    Eg:
Pm deifines the roles for the people in shopfloor,if you can make use of these roles and give authorization of removal of credit block to them then it is integrated.
Even when a new machine is purchased or repaired or overhauled the amount is passed to repective cost center internally.

  • How Oracle ASCP and Inventory are integrated ,what are the Integration poin

    Hi All Gurus,
    Can any one tell me..
How Oracle ASCP and Inventory are integrated ,what are the Integration point of these modules ...?
    Thanks,
    Satyam

Here is a simplistic explanation on the the integration.
When you launch data collection from the ASCP side, Oracle launches a Refresh Snapshot process that gathers the latest inventory (and other modules) information into Snapshots. Snapshots are like materialized views. Then the Planning Data Pull is launched. That process pulls information from these snapshots into the ASCP side.
The following inventory information comes over to ASCP
Item master data (such as order modifiers, planning exception sets etc. )
    item categories
Onhand quantities (including consigned invetory quantities) in nettable locations
    subinventories
    reservations
    safety stocks
    forecasts
    item planners
Quantity in receiving or in transit
    Hope this answers your question

  • (261680070) Q WWO-13 What are the difference between WLS6.1 and WLS7.0 web services?

Q<WWO-13> What are the difference between WLS6.1 and WLS7.0 web services?
A<WWO-13> The differences are huge, so different in fact that 6.1 web services cannot
be deployed in 7.0. WLS7.0 and Workshop have much greater functionality than the
limited stateless session (RPC-style) and JMS destination (MSG-style) approach of
6.1. Workshop web services can interact with any type of EJB, any JMS destination
as well as other web services and directly accessing databases. The framework for
building the web service is better and more adaptable and Workshop provides a fully
integrated develop, deploy, test and debug environment. Additionally, WLS7.0 have
the capacity to be much better at performance since due to XML parser enhancements
and the addition of XML maps.

If you want to take existing WLS6.1 web services and convert them to WLS7.0 you can
do so quite easily. The WLS7.0 Ant still supports wsgen so you do not need to even
change your build.xml file. The generated web service however will be implemented
is a manner compliant with the WLS7.0 environment. More details are at:

What are the differences between ECC5.0 and 6.0 new GL functionality.

  • How to find out what are the interfaces used for Job and Job Codes

    HI All,
I just wanted to know how do we find out what are the interfaces used for Job and Job codes .
    Thanks In Advance
    Sunny

    Hi,
Here is an idea for your request.
Basically you can create a simple query on multiprovider 0TCT_MC01.
Filter: you can use a variable for restriction of time ( calday, or calmonth) since you should be interested for a time period.
Choose following characters into your objects:
InfoProvider ( 0TCTIFPROV )  - you can create a variable for choosing infoprovider before query runs.
*Tp.[Type of BI Application Object] 0TCTBISOTYP  = filter this with 'QUERY' or whatever your need is.
*BI Application Object 0TCTBISBOBJ,  ( this will give you the name of the queries)
In key figures choose,  Count for BI Appl. (0TCTWTCOUNT).
    (number for query run)
    Create a condition , for top 20.
    Hope this helps.

PA is based on Infotypes 0000-0999. PD is based on Infotypes 1000-1999, chief being Objects Infotype 1000. Objects Infotype is the source of different Object Types such as Person, Position, Org Unit etc. You can check that through transaction OOOT.

  • What are the differences between SunFire 880 and v880?

What are the differences between SunFire 880 and SunFire V880?
Did a search for "SunFire 880" and found links to the V880 but nothing for the one without the V:
    http://www.sun.com/servers/midrange/v880/

There are four machines in the server room, two rather old and not in service right now, the other two are relatively new and are now in service.
The print on one new and one old machine is "*SunFire 880*" and
the print on the other two (one new and one old) is "*SunFire V880*".
No, it's not that the paint is chipped or any such thing and there is no space for a "*V*" in the print.
btw, of the two that are in service, both have the same OBP version, if it matters.
Hence it appears that Sun indeed sold machines with V and without V.
    So, what are the differences?
