I m an PI developer ,last Friday Basis installed the service pack 15 in Quality box . They are asking me to mointor the QPI to make sure everything is running fine and let them know so they can install the service pack in Production box.
Apart from normal monitoring of the system ( RWB and SXMB* ), what are the other components i need to monitor.
Can you tell me what to be monitored after Support pack installation.

    Hi,
    1) If CCMS is configured then you can monitor this as well (RZ20)

    Hi Rohan
The following are the order components available with SNC
    1HDR,1KNB,1NOT,1PAC,1PRA,1PRC,1PRT,1SCN 1SUB 1PRT 1SCN 1SUB 1TST 2IT2 2IT3 2NOT 2PRA 4NOT 4SDL 4TST 7MP1 7MP2 7MP3 7REF 7RQT BWHG BWIG BWLG DLH1 DLI1 DLI2 DLI3 DLI4 DLI5 DLI6 DLI8 DRIT DRSL FTD1 FTDH FTU1 FTUH HEXC HHU1 HHU2 HHU3 HHU4 HMSG HPRT HSTT HTRA ICAR IEXC IPRD ISTO ISTT IVH1 IVI1 IVI2 KNBR OECN OECP OEHD OEIL OEIR

    TLBH
Depending on the data you exchange between the two systems, you need to activate the necessary components.
These components form the basic framework where the data in your order document gets stored in the respective components
For example:A double-level order document, use the components 1HDR (header) and 2IT2 (item). For a triple-level order document, use 1HDR (header), 2IT3 (item) and 4SDL (schedule line).
As mentioned by Nikhil and Sandeep, the above notes help you, in activating the necessary ODM's
Kindly read the help document available is SAP IMG for further understanding.

  • What are the basic components in the library plugins folder.

What are the standard plugins in the Library/Plugins folder for Snow Leopard? I'm trying to figure out what I can uninstall and I have no clue.

It probably contains the empty folders Components, HAL, MAS, and VST. (I'm not sure, since my folders do contain stuff.) But none of Apple's standard effects and instruments are sitting there.

  • What  are the Java SE contents exactly? please guide me?

    hello every body,
I just want to know what are the contents that are applicable for java SE?
please give me the all the cointents ,
does web applications ,servlets, hibernate ,ejb all these are part of java SE?
please give me all the list of concepts?
    thanking you,
    regards
    siva kiran.B

    Here:
    http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/
It's got a nice graphics right at the top that mentions most (if not all) of the content of JSE (f.k.a J2SE).
Web applications, servlets, ejb are not part of JSE, they are part of JEE (which builds on JSE).
Hibernate is neither part of JSE, nor of JEE, it's a third party library. It can be used with both JSE and with JEE.

  • What are the application components for Marketing

    Hi,Guru's
I've got confusion about the application components which are supported by SAP CRM for Marketing for a implementation project ? And how would be the landscape for Marketing ?
    can you describe me.

User, this question is better asked on the {forum:id=570} forum.
This more depends on the specification of your app and has nothing to do with jdev or adf.

  • What are the Java libraries for RFID

I need to know the Java classes implemented in RFID infrastructure for processing data and events between readers and tags?

    Hi,
You can install the Java proxy runtime on the SAP J2EE Engine Release 6.40 SP5 or higher.
The messaging system that the Java proxy runtime uses to send messages to the Integration Server must also be installed on the J2EE server.
To send messages from a J2EE application, the application must be programmed against beans that encapsulate all details about the Java runtime. The following classes are generated:
    ·        Proxy classes that send or receive messages using the Java proxy runtime.
    ·        Bean classes as an outer shell that conform to the J2EE standard. The beans call the proxy classes for communication.
The classes must be deployed on the J2EE server together with their J2EE application
see this link for the example scenario http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/f272165e-0401-0010-b4a1-e7eb8903501d

  • What are the Java iView 'Help' possibilities?

    Hi all,
Currently we are investigating what the possibilities are of the 'Help' option for iViews.
If I understand correctly, you can have only one help link included in the context menu.
However, according to common UI preconceptions, it would make more sense to have a separate Help icon, instead of having it as a menu item under the Options icon (ie. help is available right away, plus you immediatly see whether help is available or not)
Regarding this I have two questions:
Would it be possible to have a Help icon next to the Options icon in the iView tray?
And if so, would it then be possible to have multiple links in a help dropdown if a user clicks that help icon?
    Any input is greatly appreciated!
    Thanks in advance,
    Robin van het Hof

Not sure if it helps, but we are using the standard iView help link now that SAP have kindly re-instated the functionality in the next round of EP support packs (see OSS note 875858).  This method allows you to specify a URL to whatever help files you like in each iView.
I agree with Michael that the standard iView help is a little hard for users to find when it's buried in the options menu.  To get around that issue we have created our own iView tray icon image in the universal yellow question mark style, and loaded it up with the portal theme editor.  I would show you what I meant if we could include images in SDN posts

  • What are BI-JAVA components

    Hi Gurus
We have Integrated BI component of SEM server to portal
    SEM
    SAP-ABAP  13
    SAP-BASIS  13
    SAP_BW     15
    According to Note 1032261
    BI
Additional ABAP Support Packages (intermediate Support Packages) have been delivered for BI. For this reason, the numbering of the ABAP Support Packages is no longer identical to the numbering of the SAP NetWeaver Support Package Stacks (Java Support Packages).
    Overview:
    Java    ABAP
    9         9
    10      10
              11
    11       12
              13 (cancelled)
    12       13
               14
    13       15
               16
accordingly we told to upgrage Portal to 13
They said they will upgrade only BI-JAVA to 13
in all component info there is no component called BI JAVA
how wuld I checked whether it is perfectly upgradated
    List of BI-JAVA sub component

    Hi Balaji,
It's quit simple is it is your business requirement to have BI on the WAS-J2EE Stack then have the BI-JAVA installed.
for details on BI-JAVA kindly refer https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/bi

  • What are the must have SAP componets req to publish MDM 7.1.03.86 on web

Can anyone explain to me what are the SAP components required for MDM 7.1.03.86 allowing me create a webpage front end to MDM 7.1 and create and publish my own screens?
Like many I am very new to the world of SAP.
There are many others in my own company with a vast knowledge of what are all the pieces needed to run almost anything
In SAP. One of the exceptions to this rule is SAP Master Data Management (MDM).
    We run:
    - SAP MDM version 7.1.03.86
    - A Windows 2003 server
    - Oracle 10.X.
    - 7.1 Import Manager
    - 7.1 Import Server
    - 7.1 Data Manager
    - 7.1 Syndication Server
    - I see reference to the 7.1 MDM Publishers but I donu2019t see the API in the way I have software loaded right now.
I would like to get to the point where I can create a web portal front end to the MDM product.
My problem is I canu2019t get anyone to give me a an answer as to what are the other pieced of software I would need to get
In an end to end solution. Starting with barebones and working up to the works!
Here is what I would like to be able to do:
    - Publish in a SAP Portal screens to the web. (SAP NetWeaver CE Portal, PI Portal ????)
    - Write code in Java, SQL, VB and more, save and test them. (SAP NetWeaver WebDynpro for Java ???)
    - create a web screen in the portal and publish to a Portal or URL. (SDK kit or Developer's kit Like: SAP NetWeaver
    Developer Studio ???)
    - It looks to me like the "SAP NetWeaver BPM" product is "Nice" to have but not required.
This is soo confusing, PLEASE help!
    Thank You
    Steve T

    Hi Steve
    Adding to Anu's response:
The prebuilt packages (worksets) cannot be used on a CE portal - only on a NW Enterprise Portal.
iView templates are also provided which allows you to put together your own pages and worksets. Again, these require the Enterprise Portal.
You don't have to use an SAP portal. You can use any webserver combined with Java code
(that makes use of the MDM Java API) to access the data (check out http://catalog.bd.com/ for a sample of this). Of course, this requires a lot more effort on your side.
"SAP NetWeaver BPM" amounts to NetWeaver CE. It is required if you want to make use of the WebDynpro components in new MDM releases.
Since you mentioned the MDM Publisher, if you want to simply publish "read only" data to a web front-end, you may be able to make use of the MDM Publisher together with Adboe InDesign.
Java code can make use of the MDM Java API. Windows development tools can make use of the MDM COM and MDM .NET APIs.
    HTH,
    Mark

  • What are the Necessary Componentsfor  an EJB ?

Please, I am new to EJB. I need you to answer the following questions for me:
    1. What makes a Java class an EJB?
    2. In terms of implemantaion, what are the necessary components like libararies, inherted components, etc an EJB must contain?
    Thanks
    'Femi

You are not going to get satisfying answers when you ask such generic questions about technology for which whole books have been filled. But anyway:
    1. What makes a Java class an EJB?When it is properly annotated and packaged such that the container will manage it as an EJB instance.
    2. In terms of implemantaion, what are the necessary components like libararies, inherted components, etc an EJB must contain? You need an enterprise container such as Glassfish, JBoss, Websphere, etc. which deliver the implementation of the Java Enterprise Edition specification. Generally to compile you'd use an IDE and let it setup your project such that the proper jars of the enterprise server are added to the compile classpath of your project, but alternatively you can compile against the generic JEE API jar or use Maven with a specific set of dependencies.
If that blew right by you: that is to be expected. You really need a decent book to get started with JEE technology, especially the EJB component.
